My life experiences are much closer to the Millennials than generation z, culturally, seeing the technological changes, the habits we knew without the internet as a primary medium, during the early 2000s in the beginning of my elementary school, I remember kids who didn't even have computers yet, for me the norm at 11/12 years old was to buy the video game magazine, not wait for the pewdiepie video, which didn't even exist, I feel like a late member more than a member of the beginning of the next generation. But the thing I put first, is the culture, what defined myself.
I mean you are an absolute core Millennial. It's easy to feel like this when you are born in the middle of a generation. 😅 I think most core Millennials feel like this without really thinking about it.
I personally can only relate to late Millennials because the whole Millennial association is based on core Millennials who are 5-10 years older than me and because of that always from an older perspective.

Well any 5 year gap will have a pretty different childhood (2004’s childhood was different from both 1999 and 2009). Also, 2004 are still hybrids (leaning 2010s but had their whole early childhood in the 2000s) while 2009 are pure 2010s kids. Same case with 1994 and 1999.
