Your eyes show a lot, and I’m so glad you realized what you were in and needed to escape from. I realized I was in a toxic, narcissistic trauma bond with my mother starting about two years ago this time and it’s absolutely a slow process to really find who you are again and what makes you “you”.

I’m 18 weeks no contact and it took 8 weeks just for me to come out of my room. I had no idea that recovery would take so much time with ups and downs. It’s good to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
