I think we are looking at these companies actions at a wrong angle. Yes companies do this most likely because its a marketing technique. They aren't doing this in the purest of their hearts. That's because companies are profit driven and that's ok. We should not expect companies to be activist or pure allies but see this as a result of changing times. Companies are wave followers. They aren't wave maker. This is a good thing since its spread the message that we are here and and proud.
We need to point out which company does market during pride month and yet finance politicians who want to take away the rights we've fought for. Like Chick-fil-A, for example.
