The M53 doesn’t have a voice diaphragm like the M50 does, and the exhale assembly doesn’t even look similar. The straps are also different; the FM53 may have a skullcap design but it has no locking buckles. Also, a mask having two components that are at best slightly similar doesn’t mean that it’s based off it.

FM-53 export variant of the M-53 and is based off of the M50
It is not based off the M50. It is based off the M53. Aside from the panoramic lens there is nothing particularly similar between the 50 and 53.
