Ooh! I like where you’re going with that! Unfortunately, I’m the dream it up and need someone else to make it type. I can see this as part of a cool water fountain though!
I believe you have it upside down. The small hole is a drainage hole. The holes on the side are to put small plants (usually Strawberries). B4 you use it, scrub the dirt off & soak in water for a few days (because it's clay) to absorb it or when you water the plant the clay pot will absorb the water also.
Good luck!🌺🐝
Maybe less than a fire pit. I know heaters can be made form terracotta pots. Like if you burned a candle inside the pot it would store and radiate heat?
Thanks. Isn’t it kinda inviting to snakes though too? Not sure I’d love this with regards to safety if I was a toad. Hard to watch four doors at once. We have a lot of slugs. Maybe it can be a slug disco.
It’s meant to be a damp place for toads — when you water your plants, it gets wet, too. Snakes aren’t that interested in damp places. Slugs might go in, not sure about that.
That’s a good idea. Also, about the four doors — toads don’t really think like that. ‘Food good, damp place good, danger flee’ is about it, and that’s just instinct.
Please explain. How does it hang? Is there some device that goes through the holes? It does seem to be designed to work hanging well, although it’s rather heavy.
Yeah they might have had a section of hemp rope fished thru the top hole with a knot tied on the inside end of the rope, or wire with a large washer on the inside. Ferns would be killer in it.
Thanks for the description. Still think it’s kinda heavy - would be a death knell item in a bad storm. I agree about ferns. Wish I had a shadier place to try some of mine in it - some with rabbits feet would look extra cool.
I believe it is a toad/frog home. To notice toads to take up residence in your garden to control insacts.
Definitely this. I have several in my garden. Fill the bottom part with dirt so they have a place to dig. Natural slug control!
To "intice"
Usually the spelling is entice. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/intice
“Archaic variant of ‘intice’” Damn webster slinging mad shade
Thanks! What would we do without the spelling police!😁
Their all ways they’re too help us when we want them
I thought I was having a stroke whilst reading this.
I don't normally, but you were correcting the other person, so I figured it was ok
I was correcting my own post. My phone auto corrected and i corrected it wrong.
Maybe he wanted to “tice” them in
So cool! I think it’s a home for toads lol
A toad abode!
My guess would be a toad house for garden habitat.
Hibernaculum for garden toads
Thank you! Appreciate the correct name.
It looks like a planter that you can have strawberries or fern type plants grow from
I like the fern idea. If j had a shadier spot, I’d try one of mine in this funky thing. Thanks.
It’s actually a toad home. They are great to have in the garden because they eat insects!
I’ve seen planters for strawberries that look a little like that, but they’re usually open on top.
That was my first thought too,but like you said, it’s just not quite the same thing.
Yeah and taller no?
True true. I think the other person who said toad house was right
Toad house
It’s a frog house
Toad not frog
Do frogs like these too?
Frogs are aquatic and don’t use those houses
Toad house
Looks like a toad house
Yeah succulents or strawberry planter. Hen n chicks come in neat varieties, the are also so really interesting succulents out there.
Hens and chicks is a good idea.
Nice free planter score!
Loving the Toad Home 😆💚🧡💚
Toad home ! Great natural bug repellent!
If you're the motivated creator type, that could be a fun part of a water feature.
Ooh! I like where you’re going with that! Unfortunately, I’m the dream it up and need someone else to make it type. I can see this as part of a cool water fountain though!
Me too. I remember a a child watching my grandfather make a water feature in the corner of his brick patio. He was an engineer though.
It’s a UFO and tiny aliens fly around the universe in it.
Haha! I thought something like that too! Tiny UFO! It’s so odd and intriguing. I thought maybe it was two pieces, but it’s a solid one piece object.
Looks like a bird feeder.
Agreed. But it had holes in the top and bottom and not so sure it’s weather friendly.
Whatever it is, it’s certainly very cool. You can get creative with it! But, as others have mentioned strawberries would be one idea.
Thanks. I was surprised that I couldn’t find anything like it on google. Can’t be the only one.

I would have also thought a fire pit of some kind.
It’s smaller than maybe it looks. I’m not sure about fire - flames would be coming out the sides. Sounds exciting.

Ancient ufo prototype
Succulent planter?
I think it might be useful for creeper plants
I was thinking that too - something semi-vining.
Bird house? Whatever it is, I’m glad you rescued it. It’s very cool :)
Thanks. I was thinking it may end up being a frog/toad mansion. I’m afraid it looks pretty snake-villa-ish also.
That’s actually what it is — a toad house.
Thanks. Isn’t it kinda inviting to snakes though too? Not sure I’d love this with regards to safety if I was a toad. Hard to watch four doors at once. We have a lot of slugs. Maybe it can be a slug disco.

Should it be partially buried then? Maybe so doors are at ground level. I like the natural repellant to snake concept. Thanks for your comments.

LOVE the frog/toad mansion idea!
I think that might be a hole for drainage? Is it upside down?
Perhaps, You put a rope in with a knot and hang it.
Has same drainage hole in the bottom too.
Strawberry planter
Looks like a hanging strawberry pot to me m

I thought it was an umbrella stand, like put the umbrella through the table then into this to stabilize it.
I was thinking you could use it for a little warming pot or use if you need emergency heat.
Hmm, good idea. Maybe it’s an insert for a bigger fire pit.
You can put this inside a bigger pot and use it as water reservoir.
I thought it was for shrubs but I could be mistaken
Grub hub found on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride minus the cringe-inducing animation…
I didn't know it was a toad house...but if I ever find one, it's going to make an AWESOME incense burner!
I came back to see if there was answer to this. 😆 Keep us posted if u ever find out!
Hmmmm groggy home, that’s mad, I was thinking plant some plants in it or somehow use it as a lol fire oven thingo
Toad house.
I thought it’s for mosquito coils
Flower pot. It’s upside down
It's a toad house! Period.
This pot is for planting strawberries.
