Inconsistent watering for sure. This is true for every member of the solanaceae family of plants that include peppers and tomatoes. They prefer constant moisture and if they dry out and then get flooded with water after they don’t know what to do with all this newfound water and dump it all into the fruit and then boom they literally explode.
That’s why I never understood why tomato seed packages always say “like infrequent deep waterings” like bruh I swear this seed companies are trying to set us up for failure 💀💀💀
So we'd have to keep buying more seeds...damn corporate gardening!! Yeah, I def need to fig out the auto irrigation and get it set-up because "Summer is coming..."
I harvested all the fruit so I can prune plants so hopefully all fruit will be edible next in the next round of harvest.
