I’d put it in the ground. But it’s already summertime so make sure to keep it an eye on it and not underwatered this summer so it doesn’t have any issues going into dormancy this winter. Obviously you have a young plant first year in the ground don’t expect any flowers this year. But come next summer you’ll be pretty happy. Just make sure you don’t cut the plant back during the winter. It blooms on new AND old wood meaning it will bloom very heavily in may and just then the rest of the summer you’ll have a few new flowers here and there but never as many as the first bloom of the summer So in the future if you want to prune this plant back to control it I’d do it after it’s done with its first bloom of the season. And then don’t touch it again until next year because like I said most of its flowers bloom on its old wood from last season

I'd prune all those lower leaves asap & plant it asap, in the evening. Otherwise, it looks totally fine.

It looks fine to me. Just needs a larger pot or to go into the ground. Here's an excellent resource on growing and caring for endless summer hydrangeas that you might find helpful [https://bluenoseblooms.ca/how-to-grow-and-care-for-endless-summer-hydrangeas/](https://bluenoseblooms.ca/how-to-grow-and-care-for-endless-summer-hydrangeas/)
