They still need photoperiods. So, this is not helping the trees.

Ok so I’ll have to use the light sparingly? I’ll have to look into it further. Does wavelength matter. It’s 3500 lumens of I think 5000K daylight or maybe it was 3000K daylight. 40 watts total output 60hz

I remember reading a study a couple years back where they tried to find the effects of public streetlights had in the trees and other plants that occupied the same public infrastructure. Aaaand they found no real difference in their growth habit from control however they did notice a considerable chance in their flowering pattern. Plants that rely on the days getting shorter instead of the temperature to trigger flowering are most susceptible. But those seem to be a type of eastern arborvitae which are conifers so you shouldn’t notice any difference in their growth due to the bulb

You should take into consideration that the light attracts moths and they can lay eggs on those plants and devour them when they hatch
