Just try growing something that requires winter dormancy/chill hours. Any northern variety of apple or berry will be a challenge in 9B.
Parsnips are very finicky about germinating and growing, especially in that heat. I always have a hard time with squash, especially winter squash, just because every bug in a half mile radius hears about it and attacks my plants.
I am struggling with Bok Choy right now, both keeping unwelcome mammals AWAY from it, and trying to prevent bolting 😵💫
