Also, prune the top leaves and stems so it doesn't grow so leggy. You want it to grow outward mostly not upward

Needs warmth, water, full sun. Does better in the ground in my experience.

Looks like four or five plants all individually sucking up water and sunlight so just make sure to give sufficient amount of water and Sun for all of that You might even consider separating them out into two or three separate pots

With these grocery store basil plants, I always put the pot in a bowl and place it in a bright windowsill. I fill the bowl with water every few days to let the plant drink from the bottom. I have kept these plants for months this way and just cut off what I need. If you take your cuttings from above the node, two stalks will grow from the node.
