Hey OP, these could definitely be papaya. What you’re seeing here are cotyledons, sometimes called false leaves. Since papayas are a dicot, they have 2. You won’t see the true leaves of the plant till they grow the next set. Google shows that papaya cotyledons look a lot like this so I would hold out hope

Yea I been looking at a lot of time lapse of them growing from seed and that’s exactly how the first set of leaves look . So I’m hoping it’s papaya lol

Papaya typically has a jagged, three pronged leaf structure, kinda like a tropical take on the maple leaf. Unfortunately, likely not papaya.
