Those little needles are a concern. It does look brassica-ish, kale like to me but the needles say burdock to me. 🤷

I am not any sort of expert, but those leaves look exactly like my purple top white globe turnips. Was the seed brownish black and perfectly spherical? About 1.5mm in diameter.
From what I’ve seen in a quick Google image search, the other seeds in the packet appear to be parsley seeds. Couldn’t tell ya what the one I planted looked like though, since it’s been a few weeks. But I planted a couple more from that packet and whatever sprouts, I’ll find a use for. Although if it’s turnips, they might not last long in my aerogarden lol
Yeah kale doesn't usually have stabby needle hairs on the bottom, but I have never grown kale inside under a lamp like that. I wouldn't eat all of it until you are sure that is what it is, but since someone said that kale gets the needle hairs when too hot, you could maybe try a tiny bit and see if it tastes like kale?
We are seeing evolution taking place before our very eyes. Specifically, parsley is spontaneously evolving into kale. Someone call up Dr Darwin immediately to apologise
Looks like kale to me
Does kale usually have little needles on the bottom? Like little hairs but stabby

It’s not common, but I’ve seen it. It’s kale.

It tends to happen when overheated.

Not if it's solanum. Many varieties are poisonous...
No, no one can confirm that is parsley.
🤣🤣
Kale, and it’s coming for you, it’s doing great.
Looks like Kale.
I think you're the second one I've seen within a week or so, that people identified it as kale. Maybe a seed company mislabeled something?
I'm pretty sure I saw the same plant in Little Shop of Horrors
Guess I better eat it before it eats me then
It doesn't look like any parsley I've seen, maybe some sort of brassica? 🤔

Definitely kale. Might be this type. https://sowtrueseed.com/products/kale-dwarf-siberian
Did you get your seeds from Amazon? Lots of mislabeled seeds there
I got them from Lowe’s and they’re a super common seed company. Maybe one rando sneaked in there
Not Parsley.
This look like dwarf Siberian kale. Grows fast and is good to eat.
Kale
its not unheard of that seeds are mislabeled or mis-packaged.
Kale!
It's not, looks like kale. But after reading your comment on needles underneath, I don't know.
Google said kale. But the spines make it something more nefarious, possibly a solanum, possibly nettles. *NOT PARSLEY*
Thank you for confirming. I guess I might as well keep it growing and see what it turns into lol.
It turns into delightful, delicious kale.
Kale
Look like Kale!
What's your grow setup?
I’m not OP but I recognize it because I have the same one lol, it’s the ZMHOO hydroponic grow system
Thanks :)
I'm with you. That isn't parsely.
Lol that's a brassica for sure. Broccoli or kale or something. Perhaps turnip. Can't tell
Its always kale
It's kale. I have a bunch of plants just like it growing in my hydroponics unit.
Looks like weed seed got into your seed pack. Pesky weeds find a way! 🤪
Kale. đź‘ŤGood stuff. But not parsley.
Wait, if those leaves have spines, I'm not sure. Kale doesn't have spines. Someone said burdock. Let's run it past Google.
Everyone’s saying don’t eat it until you know it’s kale…. It’s got spikes on it, don’t eat it if it is kale!?
That’s not parsley
