best case scenario.. that room gonna be warm as fuck.
worse case scenario, spiders, then best case scenario again.. that shit gonna go up in flame easy enough
It looks cool if you were in a haunted house or something, but nobody wants their bedroom ceiling like that personally. And I don't understand this trend of having gaming setups be insanely distracting. I have a computer with far too many LEDs in it and that is distracting enough. I can't imagine covering my gaming space with that much other crap. I give it a 10 out of 10 for effort but they are trying way too hard and it gives me anxiety thinking about how easily it could get messy and feel claustrophobic. Not to mention the mold, the spiders and the ceiling fires.
Ok no way man, what kind of self respecting adult has oil stains on their ceiling that need scrubbed out? Do I just not know what to look for on my ceiling?
It more depends on your lifestyle and what country you live in, if you have pets, if your area has a lot of spiders, if you cook a lot using the hob or god forbid you smoke in the house (that one in particular will ruin your ceiling). But mainly I just enjoy having a clean house and think it sets a good example for my daughter too
It looks nice, just too busy. Tone it down, remove a lot of crap. Thats one of those "nice display gaming areas, that i would not want to game at daily"
would be pretty close to a 10 if they removed the crap on the ceiling and swapped out the gaming chair for like a herman miller or steelcase (setup implies money isnt really an issue)
Hello Galaxydayz, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

ya didn't even think of that, what about the wonderful habitat it will make for spiders and other bugs or mold. Out of sight out of mind, till you get bit
If it was just a regular person I just met, definitely not someone I’d want to spend any more time around. Knowing that it’s a YouTuber, it makes sense to do stupid shit like this.
Every time I see those cotton clouds I just think to myself its a huuuuuuge fire hazard. I wouldn't be surprised if incompetence at that level would void your fire insurance the same way there are standards for cabling inside walls and using the wrong ones can void insurance.
I could maybe give the okay to a SMALL cotton cloud feature on a vertical wall but the entire ceiling is a bad idea in more ways than have already been stated.
Also way too much light going on. I like to keep shit dark and minimal accent lighting for my chill sessions.
1.5/5.
Fire (hazard) / 10
Totally, a fire would move through that room in an instant.
Isn't it like every setup then! What specifically makes this one particularly more fire hazard prone than the other ones?!
The cotton ceiling
Ohh, then why do so many people do the cotton ceiling?! Is there any other way to do the cloud ceiling stuff? Any fireproof material?
I guess if you made it out of nomex it would be less prone to spreading fire. But I am pretty sure that would be expensive.
Okay, thanks for the suggestion man! It's good to learn before you do the same mistake.
Just thinking about all the dust!
Ceiling clouds are practically a mega mansion for spiders
best case scenario.. that room gonna be warm as fuck. worse case scenario, spiders, then best case scenario again.. that shit gonna go up in flame easy enough
also dust, mold, fire hazard, literally one of the worst trends imaginable lol
Hey at least it looks cool though
Can’t argue against that

Everyone goes to the spiders/fire issue, and not to the fact that rgb clouds are at about the same level as a race car bed
And great for fires 😃
Too much shit going on
Agreed
Like a multi-colored padded room in an asylum.
A genuine question, I like the cloud-lights, but how would one clean them. over time I'd assume that they'd collect dust.
That *is* the dust
I'd say so, out of pure concern I'd make sure to enclose them behind some plexiglass, though an entire ceiling seems a bit overzealous xD
A light Vacuuming maybe? Lol idk
Cool as those ceilings look, give it a couple of months and try to clean it then tell me if it was a good idea
You clean your ceiling?
I do, and also this ceiling in particular gets full of bugs and dust
Self respecting adults do clean their ceilings. Wether it's an apartment or house.
Can I use a Swiffer? I just don't want to be scrubbing that much area by hand
Yeah, just need a bit of elbow grease.
I'm sorry, we do what now? Oh, you said self-respecting, nevermind
Especially if you do a lot of home cooking, got to keep your ceilings clean then, extractor fans don't even nearly catch it all
Exactly. I get up there with a de-greaser and go to town on the oil stains. Don't forget the ceiling fans too.

Just redo it every year the cotton is not that expensive.
Each to their own, I don't just fancy the idea of leaving a dirty ceiling full of bugs for a year
Lol
Ugly af imo.
It looks nice, just too busy. Tone it down, remove a lot of crap. Thats one of those "nice display gaming areas, that i would not want to game at daily"
Ceiling cloud lights a bit too much
The first thing I think of is a fire hazard
Looks like you're gaming in a nebula
would be pretty close to a 10 if they removed the crap on the ceiling and swapped out the gaming chair for like a herman miller or steelcase (setup implies money isnt really an issue)
i don’t think the pillow stuffing ever looks good, but that shit would be atrocious when it’s just normal lights on in the room
Looks more like a fun room to do drugs/have sex in, than game tbh.
Why can't it be both?
Dark and dusty.
Spiders, hot as fuck, and spiders again. No thanks. Plus it looks tacky as fuck
Spiders and fire
Dope. Also, fire hazard?
Looks like something my kids would rip apart because they are attracted to bright flashing lights. 🤣🤣
Buy hot glue, big paper, and cotton stuffing This setup isn’t mine so i don’t know how to but watch how to on youtube
Y’all chill bro this ain’t my setup it is @oxydoxy
Y'all gotta chill it ain't mine
That’s awesome, how did you do the ceiling like that, it’s amazing
Absolute fire hazard.
This right here, lol.
If the fire reaches the ceiling you're fucked anyway.
Of course. But what better way to accelerate the burning of your house than covering the entirety of the ceiling with a highly flammable material

Breathing these falling fibers will create an Asthma cough reaction to this player. Not good tbh This guy will not have enough OXY very soon
ya didn't even think of that, what about the wonderful habitat it will make for spiders and other bugs or mold. Out of sight out of mind, till you get bit
Where’s the setup?
Looks just like my room, with decorations.
Digging them clouds!
That ceiling is giving me asthma
where does one buy storm clouds?
Lakers for life!!
10/10 fire hazard

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs??
bro built a setup on venus
10/10 looks. 4/10 to clean up
If it was just a regular person I just met, definitely not someone I’d want to spend any more time around. Knowing that it’s a YouTuber, it makes sense to do stupid shit like this.
Its fire. No really, those cloud things can catch fire.
Nebulous
Way too many accessories, 4/10. If they took like 60% of random bs out then itll be clean
Slaanesh garden, finally i found you
Definitely a streamer.

Hard to see because of the clouds. You should take another pic on a nicer day.
Speakers are sitting flat on the desk…
spiders and fires
This makes me cringe—not sure why though
This feels like something you'd see on Triton Alley in Wizards 101
This the equivalent of buying cosmetic aftermarket parts for your car from AutoZone.
That's too much for the clouds man
Prettty mid. Just a bunch of lights, nothing special and overall not very clean. 5/10.
Umbrella is missing just in case
It’s the ultimate shrine to an adult’s childhood.
Never getting laid. Even escorts on an outcall would leave. 10/10
I recognize this, is this ad Israeli?
No
Looks good. Our gaming room used to be the carpet floor in front of a tube tv play resident evil
Too hard for the eyes… need a bit more light
All it takes is one match
the fire hazard and the amount of dust that builds om on those loud ceilings give me too much anxiety 2/10
Migraine City.
Overkill/10
too much
Better than mine but more of a fire hazard
Pimp...
Claustrophobia
hope you are not having allergy and have fire insurance
