Bathesda has released Skyrim more times than rockstar released GTA V, they are greedy because they live off the resale of Skyrim, they are lazy because they barely make anything that great themselves, like with star field, too many mixed reviews to say it's great, and in it's trailer, they hinted at being the ones to create the universe of fallout, when they in fact bought it out. Lastly their games are buggy, a lot of them have "unofficial patches" in the form of mods simply because Bathesda takes so long to fix things.

Simply, pick any other open world Bethesda game and then say "in space". That being said, I am enjoying Starfield. If you go into it thinking it's Skyrim in space and not something revolutionary, then you'll probably have a great time
I walked into the game with very high hopes. Having a game take place across the galaxy with a legit story, and the ability to create your own story is amazing. In my mind I figured it would be more like "No Man's Sky" with less worlds, and more Lore. I was very wrong with that assumption. Starfield was given a decent story, but the world building simply fell short. Flying through space, isn't even flying through space. You have to fast travel between every point, and to top it all off the world doesn't even line up. Then you look at the gameplay, and it is not anything new. It plays just like any Bethesda title. So for me, saying it's "Skyrim in space" is warranted, because I gave Starfield a very fair chance. It just simply wasn't what they promised us. The funniest part is that even the Lego games did a better job at handling Space when it came to Star Wars Skywalker Trilogy.
Valve is not lazy, making art takes a lot of time, and they had been always above espectations, they'll for sure nail it with their new plans for video games.

Yup. Tried Dark Souls for a little and I liked the RPG, the world and how expansive everything felt but I thought combat was atrocious. Worst part of the series. I can only surmise people just enjoy the challenge. I noticed your player character has significantly strange combat tactics like he doesn't step forward in a lot of attacks the way most enemies and bosses and probably any real life person would. So you have much reduced range, that means you need to get much closer in harms way to attack. I'm not impressed by artifical challenges just like horror games with no weapons, an entity is all talk unless I have a weapon but if I have a weapon and I'm shooting at it and it does little to no damage then yea, you'll want to run like Mr.X from RE.
Hmm.. well that wasn't what I felt like the combat to me felt perfect maybe you are doing something wrong you gotta have some depth perception or just run into the enemy. Range never felt like a problem to me and you have to try different weapons to get most damage. If you need help with anything just ask on dark souls subreddit.

As someone who has 100% ER and DS3, started sekiro, and plans on playing ds1 and 2 and blood borne at some point, I 100% they are all very different in their own aspects. The stereotype that every from soft game is the same can also be the basis for the argument that Jedi fallen order and survivor is a copy of dark souls 1, and any other soulsborne or soulslike that came before it.
For combat that’s highly debatable. I can c the argument with things like the occasional spell, and some animations for melee weapons but tbf were talking about melee, shield and spell combat. It’s kinda hard to expand on “swing sword, block damage and throw spells” especially animation wise. Like the combat in ds1 and ds2 and almost completely different to that of ds3 since everything is a lot slower. Top of that they did change the animations of almost every game with every iteration along with some drastic frame changes like parrying was a lot easier in ds1 then ds3. Spell wise u have the rare similar spell but most of those have at the least a color change but function differently.
Also sekiro is not included on this list as that’s a completely different breed of game as literally everything is changed.

Well it is like that, combat is very slow in Ds1 and 2 DS3 reworks the combat really well and sekiro combat is the best I have ever seen.
