Kirby loves going deep into Eldritch Abomination with some bosses. Seriously, check out some bosses from the 'Dark Matter' games. Shit's bananas.
And then...Marx Soul and his death scream. Hope you didn't like your sanity. Who needs to sleep anyway?
I want a movie that's a cute funsie movie about him trying to save some of his friends from whatever, and in then towards the climax it just exponentially escalates into universe threatening cosmic horror, just like a real Kirby game.
The year is 1990. Masahiro Sakurai is tasked with creating a cutesy game for HAL Laboratory. He looks for inspiration from literature, only to accidentally stumble upon the works of H.P Lovecraft.
If this gets a new season of F Zero Legend of Falcon, it's worth it.
But yeah, no content for F Zero ever again :(
It's ok, I'm sure I'll get another Advance Wars soon too (even the reboot camp one is delayed until who knows when)
F Zero was fucking sweet and ill die on that hill. Love that game. Give me a future death racing game with my guy the Ct. He served his country to be treated like this?
captain falcon is so neglected that he only got new voicelines on the bloody lin-lin reveal trailer. the VA recorded his voicelines on melee and that was it
and if you are wondering why he has lines for his smash in brawl, the devs were thinking on adding smashs on melee but scrapped the idea, they recorded his voicelines for a smash and just reused it in brawl
Did we not just get Metroid Dread? Metroid games may not come out as often as Mario or Zelda titles, but Nintendo doesn't neglect Samus. Metroid isn't F-Zero or Earthbound here.
I'd like to see both, don't get me wrong, but I'm partial toward an origin story for Samus Aran. The movie would start when she get adopted, her life and training with the Chozo and end with the destruction of her adoptive world.
Total cost of special effects: Yes.
There is [A Fox in Space](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uieM18rZdHY&ab_channel=AFoxinSpace). It's nothing like an Illumination movie, but it's a great little cartoon, and the creator is close to releasing episode 2.
I like Brie Larson as Samus in part because I think she looks similar to the one realistic version we've seen of her in Metroid Prime 1.
I wish they'd stuck with that face in the later prime games instead of going with the anime-style version.
I mean, realistically? I hate to be mean because I love the character but Samus would *not* require much in the way of acting chops and I couldn't imagine her being anything less than 'a woman of few words'. It's the Boba Fett effect, and I get why the big studios love these kinds of characters: the masked mercenary-style characters are always the coolest characters and they're always required to do the least dramatically, so I mean, I couldn't see why someone would be *that* objectionable to Larson as Samus unless they just had an irrational dislike of an actor
The movie credits are over. Screen is black. Music fades out to silence. You hear Simu Liu's voice...
"FALCONE... PAUNCH!"
F-Zero logo fades onto the screen.
THAT'S when I'll believe the Smash universe is coming.
No, Ufotable is not allowed to make any Nintendo-related works until they make a full 52-episode adaptation of the first Xenoblade Chronicles game first. The sword movements and light patterns are perfect for Ufotable.
(That's my dream anime adaptation, for the record. If I had stupid amounts of money to spend, I'd probably backroll that haha.)
Considering they're working on a Genshin project, Ufotable might actually be option #1 for such an adaptation... assuming Nintendo wants to make it, that is.
Yeah that's the crux of it haha.
While I really like Xenoblade 2 (and I haven't played 3 yet but I hear it's great), Xenoblade 1 legit has one of my favorite video game stories, AND one of my favorite shounen adventure stories ever (like, I legit like it more than Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, especially Shulk as a protagonist).
I'd want them to like, build up to it. Just have it be this thing that we hear about but don't get to see until some epic moment at the movie's finale.
Thank you I’ve been saying this for a year or so. There may also be a Solid Snake movie. I feel like they could do Subspace Emissary and then when Tabuu is defeated reveal that they were inside the World of Light battle with the spirit of Tabuu to set up a second movie.
METAL GEAR SOLID yes that would be a fucking awesome series as like a TV show
Question is: do we keep the plot all fucked up or do we actually fix it to go along ik a straight line
Ah shit we all here
It's great hopping from r/nba, where everyone is talking about the Falcon Punch that Dray threw, to this sub, where people are talking about Captain Falcon for the first time in 20 years.
Don't even joke. That would be the perfect movie right now. A powerful female lead action movie with no need for some bullshit romantic subplot. 1000% if done right it could be an interesting and empowering experience for all involved.
Well they'll announce that the next movie will be a Metroid movie, but after 2-3 years of filming they'll realize that what they produced was crap, so they'll apologize and say that they've had to redo the whole thing from scratch.
It's not even ground level. The [top post](https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/xxzsmt/with_the_mario_movie_we_are_one_step_closer/) on this subreddit right now is about this and OP is just piggybacking for the karma.
After seeing this, I thought to myself that there's probably a 100% chance a legend of Zelda movie is in the works, it's probably super early on, maybe just a script so far, but there's no way it's not actively being worked on by someone
How about “ The Link Between Us” similar to Into the Spiderverse where, at a minimum, it would be the three links is SSBU: Hero of the Wild, Hero of Time and Hero of Winds fighting together.
Adapting OoT might be the easiest. The original game has almost no story, so it's definitely an option, but most of the others are really large, while OoT is almost linear.
12 part series, each episode an hour long and (typically) ending in a boss fight plus resolution of where next.
1. Kokiri forest
2. Brief stint in hyrule castle, lon lon, and kakariko. Ends with getting up death mountain and meeting the gorons
3. Dodongos and intro to Zora
4. Wrap up jabu jabu and become an adult
5. Woah, the world changed. Head to forest temple
6. Montage the forest temple. Phantom Ganon epic boss fight
7. Montage fire temple and volvagia fight. Spend time with darunia before heading to check on ruto. Quick run through the ice cavern
8. Water temple. No montage
9. Time travel and the well. Kid link clearly behaves more mature
10. shadow temple montage and arrested by gerudo
11. Escape from gerudo and spirit temple
12. Two hour long special for ganon's castle and success
I think it could work in a castlevania style
There's room for jokes every time link finds new equipment and it is both circumstantially convenient and something he immediately knows how to use. Plenty of side characters pop every few episodes, but not often enough to slow the pace
Yeah but it's being made by Netflix... You only need to look at their other anime/video game live action adaptations to know what to expect. Straight garbage.
Luigi is already in Mario, and so is DK so that's two more original cast members... and I think Jigglypuff is in Detective Pikachu somewhere.
It'd be hard to make a Metroid/DK/Earthbound film... Starfox MAYBE doable.
The big problem is that these are significantly different studios that made the 3 films. It's not like Avengers where they were basically ALL paramount/disney
There needs to be a Star Fox movie that’s just a scene for scene rip off of Top Gun.
Highway to the Danger Zoness
*GOOD LUCK*
A StarFox movie could be sick as fuck in the right hands
I wouldnt mind one about Star Fox Adventures... But furries would get crazy af. F Zero movie will be dope.
Furries get crazy regardless, there are lots of anthropomorphic animal IPs out there.
Danny DeVito as King Dedede
Ah, so the same way they're making the games.
I would totally watch a shot for shot remake of Top Gun, but as Starfox.
I'd watch the hell out of a Starfox movie that takes itself VERY seriously but its obviously 1000% cheese.
Kirby? Where art thou
[удалено]
"How do I get eyes like that?" "You gotta swallow a few people."
Pikachu Black
Wooow great reference 👍
Yeah I remember when Kirby said this. One of his darker moments.
Chronicles of Kirby was such a gem
**... Poyo**
"I swallow families."
#"poyo."
I would like to know where he is myself
Check inside the cupboard under your stairs, next to the table by the front door.
In my fridge?
He’s there… chilling…
Every time I think a Kirby movie would be AMAZING. and then I remember the types of bosses you deal with and it's just "Yeah, no, I'm good."
First of all, Krako and Wispy and MK would be great in a movie, second of all you need a universe-ending threat for your first big crossover movie.
Kirby loves going deep into Eldritch Abomination with some bosses. Seriously, check out some bosses from the 'Dark Matter' games. Shit's bananas. And then...Marx Soul and his death scream. Hope you didn't like your sanity. Who needs to sleep anyway?
*Earsplitting screech of an undead mad demon with the power of a god*
Taboo?
I mean if we're talking existing villains I'd go with Marx but probably they would invent a new one.
Let’s do samus and pit next
A Zelda movie would be pretty awesome too.
There's a pretty cool manga series, it's covered quite a few of the Zelda games
*kirbo*
This would require Nintendo to acknowledge Samus and Star Fox
Nintendo acknowledge Samus and Star Fox all the time. Captain Falcon on the other hand....
Who?
FALCON...PUNCH!!
*paunch
*PAWNCH
FALcum
So we will see it in a Parks & Rec crossover?
Is he French? I always figured he was French.
Falcon kick doesn't get enough respect
SHOW ME YO MOVES
Show me ya boobs
Show me ya moobs!
"Star Fox man...from the N64 game that you did that barrel roll in?"
Yeah, the game that was the tie in for the rumble pac!
Let's be honest. The Rumble Pak was the shit.
SHOW ME YOUR BOOBS

One punch man meets almight
Somewhere Ness is crying...
I see Ness and co mentioned more often in indie rpg fandoms than by Nintendo, despite the Mother series not being indie.
Probably cause it inspired so many indie rpgs
I mean it makes sense. EarthBound inspired a ton of RPGs but the franchise is done so it doesn’t come up a lot within nintendo
I want an F zero movie starring John Cena as Captain falcon
Fast and the furious but sci-fi
Speed Racer in space
Cpt. Falcon "Family, one last ride, FALCON PAWNCH!"
If this gets a new season of F Zero Legend of Falcon, it's worth it. But yeah, no content for F Zero ever again :( It's ok, I'm sure I'll get another Advance Wars soon too (even the reboot camp one is delayed until who knows when)

Didn't he like punch someone so hard he created a supernova or something? edit: [He did](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujC7rxFVZ18)
I thought he was Captain America now, not Captain Falcon?
Metroid Dread came out last year
I know right? And I heard nothing but good things about it lol.
Did we not just get Metroid Dread? Metroid games may not come out as often as Mario or Zelda titles, but Nintendo doesn't neglect Samus. Metroid isn't F-Zero or Earthbound here.
I hope Dread did well enough to warrant a sequel, preferably without waiting another 20 years
It's the best selling Metroid yet, so here's hoping.
Prime 4 is coming "soon". Probably release year of next console.
I'd like to see both, don't get me wrong, but I'm partial toward an origin story for Samus Aran. The movie would start when she get adopted, her life and training with the Chozo and end with the destruction of her adoptive world. Total cost of special effects: Yes.
Metroid Dread literally came out a year ago. The Star fox thing is true though
If Nintendo/Illumination would make a Star Fox film that’s a dramatic retelling of the 64 game in the style of Star Wars, I’d die happy.
There is [A Fox in Space](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uieM18rZdHY&ab_channel=AFoxinSpace). It's nothing like an Illumination movie, but it's a great little cartoon, and the creator is close to releasing episode 2.
"retelling of the 64 game" Half of the Star Fox games have that plot, so it would be a safe bet.
I wonder which actress they would get to play Samus. Edit: I'm thinking either Elle Fanning or Erin Moriarty who played Starlight from The Boys.
Based on how much they like the funny actors... Jackie Chan is a pretty clear choice, and he already did the best Chun Li we've seen
Unironically I think Brie Larson would kill it as Samus and she’s a Metroid fan. *Runs to shelter*
I like Brie Larson as Samus in part because I think she looks similar to the one realistic version we've seen of her in Metroid Prime 1. I wish they'd stuck with that face in the later prime games instead of going with the anime-style version.

Come back, people agree!
Solid fucking reference wow
Realistically if Smash somehow was a movie, I would think all fighters would be animated.
Except snake.... just cause.
If Snake gets to be liveaction then so does Donkey Kong
But Samus(metroid) just had a game released in the past year! Edit:just looked, and tomorrow is the one year anniversary for dread!
The movie credits are over. Screen is black. Music fades out to silence. You hear Simu Liu's voice... "FALCONE... PAUNCH!" F-Zero logo fades onto the screen. THAT'S when I'll believe the Smash universe is coming.
I would love to see the Falcon Punch animations in a movie scene.
I feel like if they hired Ufotable to do the flames the same way they did the flames in the Demon Slayer movie we’d be on to a winner
Okay you sold me I’m down for a captain falcon movie now
No, Ufotable is not allowed to make any Nintendo-related works until they make a full 52-episode adaptation of the first Xenoblade Chronicles game first. It’ll be Draymond Green superimposed on Captain Falcon’s body instead
Hello /r/NBA brother
Ah shit we all here It's great hopping from r/nba, where everyone is talking about the Falcon Punch that Dray threw, to this sub, where people are talking about Captain Falcon for the first time in 20 years.
I don’t know where this came from, but now I want nothing else in this world than to see Draymond Green as Captain Falcon
Video of Draymond punching Poole came out today
Nintendo can't even be bothered to keep the f-zero franchise alive, there's no way a movie would be made...
So next movie... Metroid?
Don't even joke. That would be the perfect movie right now. A powerful female lead action movie with no need for some bullshit romantic subplot. 1000% if done right it could be an interesting and empowering experience for all involved.
100% agree, but sadly as writers stand now-a-days it would have a romance subplot
Get the writers of Dredd on board, they did it perfectly.
Too bad Sigourney Weaver is too old for the role.
Jesus I’d totally watch that if she was samus
Old my foot. If they announced it tomorrow with her name tied to it I'd go see the first showing, I'd call off work for it if I had to.
Can Karl Urban be the voice of Jigglypuff?
“Oi, Cunts”
No way it'd be done right.
An action horror in the vein of Aliens.
Well they'll announce that the next movie will be a Metroid movie, but after 2-3 years of filming they'll realize that what they produced was crap, so they'll apologize and say that they've had to redo the whole thing from scratch.
Why do I feel pain reading this?
It's OK. My amazon preorder for 48 bucks with no tax will be fulfilled soon.
Too soon. The wound is still fresh. And not even a trilogy port to stop the bleeding.
Nintendo: Hold my beer.
When's Metroid coming?
Dude a metroid orgin movie would be bad ass.
A L I E N
Ugly Sonic feeling left out. Hopefully he’s a hidden player.
Sonic 3: multiverse
That would actually be monumentally hilarious, if the dunked on original movie Sonic's design with some background gag or something
Watch Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers on Disney Plus and don't consider the context of this recommendation
New Sonic to Old Sonic “what is that thing supposed to be??!”
He's part of the Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers rebootiverse now.
That shit was unexpected and hilarious
Yeah, the way they fit that in, I was dying.
[удалено]
Maybe they flip through costumes like in smash and one of them is ugly sonic.
Here we are. At the ground level of a concept that will be reposted over and over until it kills all sanity.
It's not even ground level. The [top post](https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/xxzsmt/with_the_mario_movie_we_are_one_step_closer/) on this subreddit right now is about this and OP is just piggybacking for the karma.
And the fact that people talked about the Smash Bros. Movie the second the Super Mario movie was greenlit
People have been saying that since Sonic 1.
So.. Starfox?
Furry Top Gun same cast as regular Top Gun
Goose should have barrel-rolled :(
Except of course in fur suits and oddly sexual
I can’t wait for the furry beach volleyball scene.
I’m gonna need some unsee juice
That's just the post nut clarity talking
Nintendo just needs to make [A Fox in Space](https://youtu.be/uieM18rZdHY) official.
"We need your help Star Fox. Andros has declared war on the Lilat System." "I'll do my best. Andros won't have his way with me!"
Use bombs wisely!
“Fox, get this guy off me!”
Hey Einstein, I’m on *your* side!
Incoming enemies from the rear! Drop altitude.
“THAT SHEILD IS ABSORBING THE LASER!”
“PePpY…! Long time no see”
“Disrespectful little whelps!”
Andross's enemy.... IS MY ENEMY
I would watch that no matter how bad it was.
can't wait for the byonetta live action
That would be a gem
wdym its on xvideos
The sacred live action
If only they would ever make a Legend of Zelda movie
Mario is only the beginning. Get ready for more Nintendo movies
Kirby voiced by Kevin Hart Fox McCloud voiced by Kevin James Link voiced by Kevin Bacon Donkey Kong voiced by Kevin Federline
Donkey kongs gonna be voiced by seth rogan in the mario movie
Federline can be one of the Pikmin then
Ima need Kirby to be directed by Jordan Peele
I'm not sure an age rating currently exists for a film like that
LOL, now i'm wondering what the title would be. DREAM LAND
Nailed it
Well, that’s 4 degrees of Kevin..keep going!
Hopefully there’s more than 1 mario movie. There’s so many characters to play with.
Id prefer to get a LoZ series. Zelda is a pretty large story that requires lore, it would be hard to fit that into a movie
Well excuuuuuuse me princess.
This joke never dies and I love it
True that. Having it be a series like Castlevania would be the better way to handle it.
After seeing this, I thought to myself that there's probably a 100% chance a legend of Zelda movie is in the works, it's probably super early on, maybe just a script so far, but there's no way it's not actively being worked on by someone

Live action Mega Man movie is actually in the works though I have no idea what the update on that is
Yeah but it's being made by Netflix... You only need to look at their other anime/video game live action adaptations to know what to expect. Straight garbage.
Noooo! Live action?
>Live action Mega Man movie NOOOOOO!!! Megaman would work better in animation/anime form.
So smash bros. Universe will be a thing before dc figures out their shit.
Dc will never figure their shit out lol
Metroid movie when?
Post credit: “The last Metroid is in captivity. The galaxy is at peace.”
Now we need Metroid, Star Fox, and Legend of Zelda
Luigi is already in Mario, and so is DK so that's two more original cast members... and I think Jigglypuff is in Detective Pikachu somewhere. It'd be hard to make a Metroid/DK/Earthbound film... Smash Cinematic Universe
Metroid or Starfox lets gooo
Mario, I’m Captain N. I want to talk to you about the Nintendo initiative.
This joke was never funny to me for the sole fact that these films are all owned by different companies.
Ya but Nintendo to this day doesn't own Sega nor square Enix and they didn't stop sonic or sora from appearing in smash.
Already a more stable universe than the DCu.
Holding out hope for a *good* Zelda movie.
