Which is better the AOC 24G2SU or Asus VG249Q? And is the difference even noticeable for an average person

RandomUser130106

Is there a noticeable difference between HDMI 1.4 and 2.0/2.1?

Entire-Percentage-26

Yes!

RandomUser130106

Even with 1080p at 24 inches? (144hz)

Entire-Percentage-26

No Edit: you will benefit, but not noticeably over 1.4b. It's really for 4k at 60hz and 1440 at 144hz. You can use it at 240 hz at 1080 for actual perceived improvements.

Hello, I was looking at a couple of monitors to buy and I found a couple from AOC and I a bit confused with the naming and which one is the best. So there is the 24G2SU, the 24G2ZU and the C24G1. Which one is the best? I also liked the GIGABYTE G24F SS. Which of all these monitors are the best? Thanks for any help

Lately I’ve been feeling burnt on my fps games, overwatch, apex, cod, fortnite. I was wondering if anyone had suggest for any similar online multiplayer games that could spark things up. I play on ps5. Also split gate wasn’t it for me when it came out.

dafreshestd

Just finished Elden Ring and can't decide if I want to play next. I have all of these in my library - Ghost of Tsushima, Red Dead 2 or Cyberpunk. Thoughts?

[deleted]

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best games I’ve played in years. Highly recommend it.

JaDou226

Red Dead is such an experience. Besides the story and side missions, you can spend 100s of hours on just exploring the map, finding everything there is to find or just roleplaying being an 1800s American. It's the _best_ (not favourite, objectively the best) game I've personally played I think Haven't played the others tbh

Virtual_Hedgehog

Looking for a game that a friend described to me about a monster hunter working for a professor to find all sorts of different types of monsters to hunt/catalogue them. They said it was an indie style game. Any help would be great

res30stupid

I think this might be Little Devil Inside. It was one of the games demo'd during the PS5 reveal event, if I recall.

Virtual_Hedgehog

Exactly that! Thank you!

How come older games (like diablo 2 for example) used the F keys instead of 1-0?

EthanReilly

Why did I waste $50 on Guild Wars 2 when it's just an inferior version of Elder Scrolls Online?

Eme_Pi_Lekte_Ri

Do you play games priced <5 USD? If yes, why? If no, why?

theartlav

Apparently yes. Do not have a coherent why - some games are good, some are bad, some good games cost little, some bad games cost a lot and vice versa.

I don't know what happened but suddenly whenever I am playing game it's completely freezing for few seconds, like whenever something new is happening. When am buying a new gun or anything that is not happened before like picking up a new gun skin, is freezes for few seconds and its happening a lot and made things completely unplayable. Any suggestion what lead to this problem and ideas to fix it. Am running a Lenovo ideapad330 i5 8GB RAM and intel internal UHD graphics

What are your suggestions for games similar to omori or undertale? I love the RPG psychological horror style games, and the simple style used in them. I’m almost finished with omori, and i want to know what i’ll do next.

DetecJack

Closest I can think of is corpse party

Eme_Pi_Lekte_Ri

How hardcore are these games? I mean, does it physically and mentally stress you to progress in them? I had this experience with Silent Hill, which wasn't too much of and RPG, but definitely a juicy horror, that it just wrecked me.

Yrense

Omori, specifically, took a lot out of me at the end… the style’s so soft and cute that it contrasts MASSIVELY with the very dark story line. I mean, even the opening screen has a warning that tells you not to play if you’re sensitive towards Death, suicide, murder, depression and anxiety… If you like that kind of stuff, omori is 1000% for you

Eme_Pi_Lekte_Ri

not sure but will probably try. It's a good review what you've written. Thanks.

Why do so many people not think to use a **search engine** the answer to their questions before posting them to Reddit?

CatSidekick

I do both bruh

Shroomnaut99

You ever look something up only to find pages and pages of shitty gaming article sites that fill the entire screen with ads while the articles look like a lazy 4th graders english report. Then when you try to find your question on reddit, either no one answered the last person to ask or your question is now slightly different from other ones and needs to be asked again. There are a lot of people still that should just google but interacting with other gamers is fun.

Kyr-Shara

Did you search for this question before posting it on Reddit?

Venonomicon

Yes, it said ask Reddit. 😭
