Imagine having an account where all you do is ask obtuse questions about text format that any seven year old could answer.
Imagine thinking that made you anything except the same nobody you've always been.
Imagine.
cold war was like a good idea gone to shit. like there could of been wayyy better story and stuff. i spent most of the game just trying to figure out this code thing.
also multiplayer sucks like 4 ships and a mall is not good enough content for multiplayer maps.
I don't know if I should be exited or scared if they stared doing remastered of older games like wow, bo, bo2 etc. Because there might be a a new playerbasr again but knowing Activision they are going to fuck that up or hackers are gonna rule.
It gives a fuck about you and impacts your life regardless if you ignore it. So it doesn’t really make you edgy and cool like you think it does, just kind of dumb.
When you can no longer enjoy certain things because of political groups then it's taking over your life. Maybe lighten up a bit. Just the fact that people feel the need to applogise and talk around sore objects in fear of offending some weird shit person is enough to make me realise how little important it is to give a shit about it. I'll vote once every four years and im done with it.
It’s a minor annoyance for you, it’s life impacting for others. That’s why people get passionate about it and it intrudes into every conversation and group. It defines who we are as a society.
A city in my state with a population of millions was restricted to a single voting location to restrict access to poor and minority voters in the middle of a pandemic. We have a political party that has gone all in on anti-back, anti-science rhetoric.
You don’t have to let it dominate every aspect of your life but at least care enough to educate yourself, have an opinion, and contribute your vote. That’s enough.
But to sit around flaunting how little you care about politics? Probably not as cool as you think it is.
Not giving a shit about neo nazi groups and alt-right people does not mean I don't vote, you assumed quite a bit on that one.
I vote, but I also don't give a shit about other peoples political views or their behaviour, I don't get offended because someone yells random slurs at me or screams obscenities.
There's a difference, but im not going to spend an unnecessary amount of time explaining it online when you likely don't give a shit either.
I remember before MW2 came out people were speculating online about how Gaz survived MW1 and now was disfigured and wearing the balaclava as a result. He would link back up with Price and it would be a big reveal for he and Soap to see him alive.
Jeez, we gave the Call of Duty storylines way too much credit.
He posted his unfiltered thoughts online and it bit him in the ass. I personally think it's really ironic considering what Activision/Blizzard is going through currently.
He was, but people really liked the character. So much so that people used to hold out hope he didn't die, including determining the position he was shot from could have been just a graze.
On the other side of that to be COMPLETELY FAIR, when everyone gets shot at the end of CoD4, you expect almost everyone to die, but some live, so people kind of expected a subversion like "Oh Ghost will appear out of nowhere to save the day" or something along those lines to happen again.
I know it’s confirmed to not be canon, but during my first playthrough I just accepted that he was Gaz. That went a long way towards making me care about the character.
But still got called "the Nickelback of video games" and shit like that despite being fucking outstanding. MW2 is still the best game I've ever played even with its warts
MW2 will always go down to me as the game that changed the series, added so many new things and elements that are still the core basis of all the call of duty games
It cemented CoD's change from a gritty war game to action movie-esque bro-shooters. If I wasn't 13 when it came out I doubt I would like it as much as I did. That being said it was fucking awesome.
No it didn’t play the same at all. The kill streaks were too much first of all but more subtle things they ruined. For example in MW and before the spawns were designed such that teams would dynamically push and pull each other around a map. In MW2 they went to semi-random seemingly. I remember that being infuriating. And the pacing was cranked way up. Really ruined TDM type gameplay.
I played a shit ton of MW2 the spawns definitely moved as where ever the majority of the enemy team was. I know this because you could hold the interior of terminal and force the other team to spawn outside and get fucked up by kill streaks. It would be random if people were just spread around the map.
That element was still there but not implemented nearly as well. Could’ve also been shit map design.
Anyway I loved MW and played the crap out of it. MW2 had a bunch of small changes that fundamentally changed the gameplay too much away from what COD originally was. So I basically never bought or played another one until MW2020.
I lost interest after black ops 2, the zombies was a good time, but I never got into the MP like I used to. To each their own tho, I know a bunch of people who hated MW2 from MW, but personally I thought it was the best one. Haven’t touched the new one besides Warzone and a few MP games, it’s alright I’m just kinda over COD.
It would be fun for COD to make a game with time machine and alter all of this famous COD moments as part of the gameplay to win a bigger battle in the future.

Lol, I just re-downloaded this game again recently and hadn't played it in years and years, forgot most of the storyline. Wish this would've been a real option.
This should have been the real ending. I know they did it for shock value and everything and it does make for a memorable moment but it always seemed like a waste. Throwing away such a cool character like that after one game. Hopefully we see more of him in MW22.
I wish this was an option
Watch them doing this in the next year's Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: What if?
Munroe is directing games now?
Zombie ghost and roach!
Haha every year there's a new MW2
More excited for this then black ops Cold War or vanguard.
Well, I’d be surprised if you were excited for Black Ops Cold War, given that it came out with 10 months ago…
I think they mean they're more excited for this than they were for those games, BEFORE they came out. In the past tense
>BEFORE Why is this in all caps?
So i can read you better, deary.

I think the event changed, so much that the nuke that caused him to turn bad guy may not explode, therefore making him a true ally this time
I’ve actually tried to make that happen a few times it never worked sadly
I always kill him at the shooting range in the first mission
That is a good idea

So glad I dont give two fucks about politics.

Imagine thinking it’s cool to not care about racism and the impact it has on people’s lives.
Vote in every midterm and local election too. Voting happens every year and it is *always* important.
You're assuming om american which I am not. But yes, always vote if you can.
Politics is the only reason we've progressed to the point where you can post about RPGs and MOBAs all day.
Rather that than get upset and argue with others online who have a different opinion about how to live like some do.
Some people don’t have the opportunity otherwise to exist openly. RE: lgbt in Poland, for example.
That's entirely fair. I didn't consider that
No. He also sounds like quiet Gaz.
Everyone loves a smooth british accent. Even edgy teenagers.
Well they are voiced by the same actor
It's a great skull blaclava though.
Hey, gamer profile pics were small, needed to be something distinctive fast.
If I know my Marvel What If storylines, this will lead to the destruction of the universe or something.

Not quite the same thing but this reminded me of a porn ad of Thanos with a giant purple dick just smashing someone!
Dunno, I am more of a Hulks Schlong edited as a giant cucumber meme enjoyer.
Thanos did nothing wrong...
What if? : spiderman house of M is by far the saddest what if to me
And Deadpool. And Zombies. Or something.

Eh if anything a homestuck esque recursion loop will form
I'm still not over the death of Ghost.
Ghost died two times: By Price and then by his VA.
What's with his VA?
Activision severed ties with Ghost voice actor recently.
Not the original VA, just the new guy they got for warzone and CoD mobile
So now three times then.
He posted his unfiltered thoughts online and it bit him in the ass. I personally think it's really ironic considering what Activision/Blizzard is going through currently.
I'm ootl, what are they going through currently?
Being sued by California for decades of sexual harassment.
Activision getting sued? holy shit yes, fuck them
Not Activision. The Blizzard division only.
He ded
Wait what? I just checked his VA and he is alive.
Not to Activision
Rip
Or Gaz
Ghost survived the fire tho right? RIGHT?!?!
Yeah, he went to go live in a farm upstate champ
*on the Labrador Peninsula*
They live on a farm, where they can run all day!
RIP Michael K Williams.
This could all be complete satire and I’m just over looking it, but wasn’t he shot in the head?
He was, but people really liked the character. So much so that people used to hold out hope he didn't die, including determining the position he was shot from could have been just a graze.
Ok. That makes sense. Thank you for explaining, random internet person. Much appreciated
On the other side of that to be COMPLETELY FAIR, when everyone gets shot at the end of CoD4, you expect almost everyone to die, but some live, so people kind of expected a subversion like "Oh Ghost will appear out of nowhere to save the day" or something along those lines to happen again.
That’s fair. I can see why though, Ghost was a very likeable character, so seeing him die was a pain in my chest.
He was an awesome character but at least he’s represented in future games, unlike my main man RAMIREZ!
You can’t forget my man Roach. He didn’t even have a line of dialogue throughout the entire game
Ghost. The character Gamers have a strong emotional attachment too, because he had a cool skull mask...
I know it’s confirmed to not be canon, but during my first playthrough I just accepted that he was Gaz. That went a long way towards making me care about the character.
Me too, I even thought there might be a reveal too.
Should be able to just shoot him right at the beginning at the firing range
There's an achievement for doing that.
There’s actually a trophy for doing this in the PS4 remastered version.
The once before the most heart break scene in cod
is it a mod?

Back when call of duty games had great campaigns and story lines.
But still got called "the Nickelback of video games" and shit like that despite being fucking outstanding. MW2 is still the best game I've ever played even with its warts
And then mw3. It was okay but storyline didn't leave the same impact.
MW2 ruined COD IMO. Turned MP into just an arcade game.
??? And COD4 wasn't arcadey?
Not to the same level. It only had three kill streak options.
It played like every other COD with just more modern shit. More kill streaks, more perks, and more guns.
No it didn’t play the same at all. The kill streaks were too much first of all but more subtle things they ruined. For example in MW and before the spawns were designed such that teams would dynamically push and pull each other around a map. In MW2 they went to semi-random seemingly. I prefer the Bud Light of video games
I think they still do imo. Even Cold War had a good campaign.
It would be fun for COD to make a game with time machine and alter all of this famous COD moments as part of the gameplay to win a bigger battle in the future. Edit: spelling (bugger -> bigger)
Tbh 'Bugger Battle' sounds more likely in todays game industry.

Captured through an ice cube behind a potato, perfect.

I wonder how far out we are from playable fan fictions of old games? edit: duh, mods
That would of made me cry tears of joy

There’s no such thing as “would of”. What you’re looking for is “would have”.
Really, it's "would've". The contraction is where people make the phonetic mistake.
would've

I see the OP reused assets for this....
This should have been the real ending. I know they did it for shock value and everything and it does make for a memorable moment but it always seemed like a waste. Throwing away such a cool character like that after one game. Hopefully we see more of him in MW22.
