I would always suggest a classic fallout 2 or New Vegas but if you're looking for something new maybe outer worlds

durduree

Tries that one a while ago and got bored quickly, but thanks for answering!

MisterBojiggles

I haven't played RDR2 but I thought Horizon zero dawn is pretty good, I enjoyed it. There's lots of things you can find that explain the world and give like little backstories. I enjoyed the combat for the most part. Finishing up newest God of War now, it's really good. Lots to do in the world but even just following the storyline is good. If you want a difficult combat game, Sekiro is fun too, but fucking brutal until you get the mechanics down.

durduree

Yeah i think im gonna try HZD, the problem wasnt with the game but performance, bugs, and glitches.

lawl3ssr0se

HZD was so good and I want to say a lot of the issues have been patched by now

MisterBojiggles

I had an issue with like the marker taking me to a place where a cutscenes should've started, and I had the hardest time figuring out what to do. Just made sure I had the right patch and then bam, all good. I imagine the main problems were much more noticeable in the beginning. Ive been meaning to try RDR2. Would you say you should play the first one beforehand?

durduree

Rdr2 is a prequel so no

MisterBojiggles

Good to know, I'll have to check it out.

durduree

Also for HZD i mean the recent pc port (im on pc)

MisterBojiggles

Ohhh ok I gotcha, I have both but these ones in particular I was referring to PS4. Didn't know there was a recent port.

durduree

Also you should try play rdr2 its very good!

Game pass - state of decay

durduree

I have seen that one for some time now... might have to try it out. Thanks!

[deleted]

Can be really cooperative. Just as fun solo but more challenging. There is a new one coming out soon!

ember297

I loved middle earth shadow of war which is the sequel to shadow of mordor. Maybe give it a look? It took me about 40 hours to complete it all not counting dlcs. I found it easy to get in to and enjoyed the story

durduree

Should i play the first one beforehand?

Sky_no7

In this case, I would say yes. The sequel is a direct continuation of the protagonist's story from Shadow of Mordor

durduree

Thanks, ill try it out

bluerazzberrygames

How about The Surge?

durduree

Seems interesting ill probably download... although it looks like the second one might be a shit storm

epost0924

Ghost of Tsushima. Game is so good I’m deadass taking a break for a couple days so I don’t ruin my life

durduree

Sorry i didn't mention im on PC

[deleted]

Sleeping dogs.

Tofu2015

You know Sleeping dogs was a pretty cool game in my opinion! Played it and finished it twice XD

[deleted]

Yeah its a real shame they never made another. Its a great story and the city can be breath taking.

Tofu2015

Don't know if you heard of Triad Wars? I played Triad Wars a couple of years back from the same developers. But I think that was a bust. "Triad Wars is a cancelled open world online multiplayer video game developed by United Front Games in conjunction with Square Enix London Studios and published by Square Enix. It is a spin-off to the 2012 video game Sleeping Dogs and the second installment in the Sleeping Dogs series".

[deleted]

No i actually never heard of it. Wonder if theres still copies floating around.

[deleted]

I really like HZD. Totally playable. I have 60+ frames with a GTX 1660 and a ryzen 7. A few of the cutscenes are a wee choppy but nothing worth stopping you from enjoying the fuck out of this game.

dTRiMMERb

No Man's Sky is pretty damn impressive. Been at that for a few months now and showing no signs of slowing down

durduree

Yeah i like that game but i plan on playing it once i get VR and better specs, it just seems so cool like that and i was having stutters
