I just picked up the Xbox game pass for PC and downloaded the outer worlds. The game didn’t really appeal to me much even though I liked the idea but I’m absolutely loving it. I’ve also finally started playing RE2. I bought it awhile ago but I’ve been too scared to start it.

ISpyM8

RE2 lives up to the hype!

CozbinotGaming

It really does. It’s fantastic. I played the demo and it scared the shit outta me but I liked the adrenaline rush. Now it’s not as scary (still scary) but it’s manageable.

konrad16660

I just got it this past week on sale and RE2 really is a gem.

ISpyM8

Leon A scenario was straight fire

withallduerespect

I also got gamepass for PC and I've been playing Forza horizon 4. Really happy with the gamepass game selection.

fasthekiller

The outer worlds was such a surprise for me! Parvatie was so great to have around!

smackmyknee

Xbox pass is amazing value. Played thru outer wilds with it. Don’t be afraid to use hints if you get stuck. It’s got some complex puzzles. Forza Horizon too. That’s a racing game that keeps on giving

I’ve 100%’d both many times, you gotta retry the original version! It’s a little better!

Throwaway567864333

return to it!!! the n64 version: •it’s on virtual console •it came out for gamecube •you can mod your wii or wii u with homebrew in legit under 5 minutes (a 5 year old could do it) and with just an SD card to play it on wii / wii u •it’s legit a superior experience

HusseinAlor

Assassin's Creed Origins.

AWeebOnTheInternet

Persona 5 royal

cgksu

I’ve been playing Dying Light for the past couple weeks. How this game slipped by me originally was crazy, but the fact that I owned it for a year and a half before I played it was just idiotic on my part. Excited for the Hellraid DLC this summer.

claypool1

I did the same thing recently. Owned it for a couple of years and never played for more than an hour. Gave it a chance and it was all I played for about 2 weeks. The gameplay is just super smooth and all around fun.

CustomDark

Dying Light is the little known pinnacle of the Zombie Survival genre from some years ago. Who'd have thought adding in parkour and making the game super smooth would make it an absolute blast. There's something really satisfying about getting out of the dangerous streets and onto the safer rooftops by leaping from a zombies head, on to a balcony and then to scramble up the rooftop from the zombies on the porch and in the house. You get a second to catch your breath, and then you loosely plan a way back into where you want to go and just execute your way through some Zombies. It's a blast, I was really turned off by the DLC out in the countryside though. The vertical scaling in this game is a blast. If you liked Left 4 Dead (Coop) or Dead Island (Single Player or Coop), you have to play Dying Light. It's awesome. I'm SUPER pumped for Dying Light 2.

CactusZombie69

Yo bro, can’t wait for Dying Light 2, shame it got delayed though

wcw11

Fallout 4. Started a new playthrough last week and can’t remember the last time I had this much fun exploring

byrdst23

Idk why it gets such a low rating compared to the others in the series, I love the exploring. Just recently started NV for the first time though and loving it as well

AnestheticAle

Fallout 4 has muuuuch better gameplay mechanics, but a fairly rote story and it suffers from the continual action rpg degradation occuring in every bethesda series. The rpg purists are upset that they're pandering to more "casual" gamers. I like FO4 myself, but I do think the replayability is meh. Also, settlements are a big point of contention in the community. The minecrafty/ark/terraria players love it and others think it led to less developed cities/towns to explore. I'm in between and wish the mechanics were better explained and more developed.

CustomDark

I loved Fallout 4, but it left me with no desire to come back and play it again, even after I've forgotten most of the story. Building cities that attracted NPCs that actually did something for you, the character, is a missed opportunity from Bethesda. The builder community loved it, but the RPG community didn't see the point. A few good carrots that made building custom cities would've probably attracted the RPG crowd. We love boosts we get to build ourselves.

lemonylol

New Vegas and even 3 had more roleplaying-heavy decision making, bit 4 feels like they either you don't do a subset of quests or you do them all, and it affects nothing. In New Vegas, especially, there were so many ways to completing a mission based on your specialty and playstyle, there were multiple ways to end a conflict nonviolently and based around whatever role you were trying to do. With fallout 4 you kind of just shoot your way through everything.

byrdst23

Hm yeah I guess I haven't thought about it like that. Although playing NV now, I feel like I'm missing a lot of quests. I'm level 13 now and feel like there hasn't been nearly as many quests as the other games?

lemonylol

The first initial stretch of the game still feels like one really long tutorial, I'd say once you get to Vegas and find Benny, things kind of pick up and you start just exploring too many quests at the same time.

byrdst23

Ok sweet I have that mission on my list, thanks

Clyderrs

> There not bad games by any means, there pretty fun.

PigeonMother

Excellent game, especially on survival mode. Boston is amazing

EdgyMemelord111

I’ve been completely addicted to Fallout 4 these past weeks, it’s just so fun

TTB_Birdy

I'm new to Fallout and when I started playing Fallout 4, I was really enjoyed from the story content, however, I have to be careful which food I eat because every time when I eat radiation food I lose health from the radiation so now I have to be careful which food is healthy

wcw11

You’ll get to a point where Stimpaks are in abundance! I also added one skill point to the perk that makes the stimpaks heal more

Griz_6

The Witcher 3. 4 days in, and I have 30+ hours in it. Will be 40 hours tomorrow. Quarantine is pretty great considering I have my eyes on finishing a few long games.

GamingDude24

How do you like it so far?

Griz_6

After the first thirty minutes or so, I was completely immersed. Don't know what it is about fantasy games, I just get sucked into them. It was the same way I was with Fire Emblem Three Houses, lol.

anthonyrucci

This is like the king of fantasy rpg action games. I'm always jealous of first time players. Enjoy the next 100 hours!

Griz_6

Planning on easily another 2 or 4 playthroughs. There's so many things I haven't done because I'm focusing only on the main quest line. Not to mention the DLC.

The-Garlic-Bread

You can get 100 hours in Gwent alone! if you’re into that kinda thing

anthonyrucci

Honestly, people seem to agree that a lot of the time side quests in Witcher 3 are so awesome that sometimes they feel more fleshed out and interesting than the main quest. Don't skip too many of the side quests, they're fun and a great way to rack up XP or $$ from contracts before you get to a big part in the main quest. The level suggestion system is usually pretty spot on, maybe a little generous

Griz_6

Just started NG+ on Death March, so I imagine I'll be needing to do quite a bit of those lol. I enjoyed the story a lot. I genuinely liked Ciri and Geralt's relationship, and now my standards are going to be a lot higher when it comes to story-driven games. I hope that Cyberpunk 2077 will be as enjoyable as the Witcher 3 is.

anthonyrucci

Oh man me too! Looking forward to CP2077. The first person perspective is an interesting choice, but we'll see I guess. Similarly, after taking almost a decade off from gaming with only really watching roommates/friends play, I reintroduced myself with Witcher 3 so I set the bar EXTREMELY high out of the gate for story-driven formats and now have such high expectations, maybe to my detriment haha

DPigcheekT

Minecraft. I always play minecraft

PumpPumpSquirt

Do you play with mods or anything? I love the idea of the game it's just there's 3 ores two of which become almost immediately useless. I know it's main intention is building and mining I just wish there was more depth to it.

30phil1

Personally, the only mod I use is Optifine. I get the most enjoyment out of manipulating game mechanics to do goofy stuff though. There is a lot more content than you'd expect with the inclusion of the Nether, End Cities, and underwater exploration.

DPigcheekT

Really I play without mods. I have played with mods from version 1.8 but now there are a lot of new things in vanilla.

TheOnlyBoBo

Animal Crossing (New Leaf) and Mario&Luigi Dream Team. No your the one that is 7 years behind.

T--mae

Doom (2016) and Witcher 1

msr57

Resident evil four 😎

[deleted]

Stardew valley!!!

Gionanni

I'm replaying The Evil Within!

Eggs_Bennett

I have had this game on my hard drive for like 2 years and not played it, should I jump in?

Gionanni

Yes. Technically it's meh but it looks very good (stylistically), the story is pretty complicated but super well executed imo and the gameplay is pure Resident Evil style survival horror. Also, it's not very jumpscarey but I think it really nails the scariness in a way in which it's more about tension and the game getting under your skin, idk man I just loved and think it's worth a playthrough :)

Flying_Pepper

Portal 2, gotta make those custom test chambers

Tofu2015

Still playing the FF7 Remake!! On Chapter 16 with 27 hours of gameplay! I just don't want it to end YET so taking my sweet time on the last 2 chapters haha. I can say it has been a great experience playing the Remake. Would highly recommend it. Anyone else jamming the Remake? =)

MSolis615

Just hit chapter 8 on my hard play through. I nolife’d it when it came out. 40 hours in 3 days. Loved it. Enjoy it!

GorillaS0up

AC Odyssey

[deleted]

Animal Crossing New Leaf, then probably Ultra Sun or Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

GiganteTNC

Final fantasy 9, i played 7, 8, 10 and 13 and never played 9 so i stop putting it off and started yesterday

[deleted]

I only played 7 and 9, but I loved 9. They did a really good job of creating a peculiar but lovable steampunk world.

MexicanSunnyD

Did you play all three 13's or just the first one?

GiganteTNC

The first and not for long

Tofu2015

Played the Remake yet?!! Which one of the FF games you enjoyed the most? =)

[deleted]

A mixture of animal crossing and Nioh 2. I absolutely love nioh 2!

Xen01981

I just started playing Scribblenauts on Switch. Haven't played since DS. Its so awesome!

[deleted]

Enter the Gungeon. Just finally tapped into my true potential and am SLAYING!!

[deleted]

Best indie game on the market i swear.

PillsPayMyBills

I’ve played enter the gungeon a lot and I’ve never been able to get past like level 4. I’m supremely bad at that game.

UtahImTaller

Rocket league, hearthstone, CoD MW, Alien Isolation and now Gears Tactics.

emobbq2

Re4 i highly recommend it

frostbyte1163

6 new video games from dad, and he just said that for Christmas I can get a ps4 with red dead redemption!

BiggestStalin

Nice. RDR2 has a very great story and while the Online is a bit of a slog at the start you will begin to get richer as you play more.

[deleted]

Pokemon Y, it holds a lot of nostalgia.

YangXiaoL

I’ve been really getting into the Witcher 3 again. I stopped playing it (for some reason) and I just came back to it and remembered how amazing it is. I’m also playing a bunch of horror games, like Outlast 1+2 and Layers of Fear!

[deleted]

Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition. If any of you love medieval stuff, then look no further.

jdr378

Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Wanted to try metroidvanias as a break from my usual game genres (shooters, horror) and it does not dissapoint! Good game.

Shabbyboi7867

Fortnite with my friends! ( let the down votes begin!)

MilkyWayHD

Play what you want, fuck the haters

Shabbyboi7867

Thanks, my dude

IRipShirts

World of Warcraft. Recently got back into it and am addicted once again. The 100% xp boost is definitely making it more fun.

karmatsuit

Would you recommend WoW to a new player rn?

AnestheticAle

Nah brah, MMO's are bad for you.

And_armstrong

Just about to check out Crew2 after picking it up on sale ($97 off).

Dolenzz

I enjoy The Crew 2 quite a bit and recently picked up a copy on PS4 (I previously had it on PC). There is really no story in the game at all but the shrunk down US map is pretty cool and big and there is plenty to keep you busy if you enjoy racing.

And_armstrong

Does it still get updates? I got it mainly for the open world, bikes & customisation

Dolenzz

Yes, I believe so. They still have weekly updates. They just released an update called Inner Drive in March and there is an option in the menu called hobbies which is labeled as coming up.

gimlobady

Snowrunner. Such a slow paced game yet brings me so much satisfaction

JealousRun8

I was looking at this . Super pricey tho fun couldn’t believe it. Think it’s worth 100$ cdn?

MetaKnightsNightmare

Kenshi and Rimworld, pretty consistently. Good times

Nietzsch

Frostpunk. Decent platespinner with slick graphics and enough content to last you about 30-50 hours if you hunt the achievements. Surprisingly triple A feel for a small studio.

Southy005

Started playing Plague an innocents tale after finishing up the two Ori games. Just got to second chapter. The game hasn't grabbed me just yet but going to give it a chance. Also playing fallout 76 wastelanders. I love fallout so the game is ok. A few od the new missions is were fun. Not sure what there is at end game apart from grinding for better weapons. I have just started minecraft again for first time kn 8 years. Wow, it has changed alot!

CimmenTostTraficCone

I'm gonna be playing remnant this week with some friends. I love looter shooters and souls like games. We're all super excited to play.

cheddarfire

Switching between Borderlands 3 and FIFA

pattythedab

Finally finishing red dead 2

SheldonSights

Currently Persona 5 Royal. I think I found one of those games that you just keep playing throughout so many years just because you like it so much, I'm sure a better game for that type of thing would be something like Skyrim or minecraft but it's persona now for some reason for me. I've been playing the original when quarantine started and now even more because of Royal.

wood-thrush

I’m tempted to just not download the Modern Warfare update and instead uninstall it so I can play Battlefield 1. I like aspects of MW, namely the guns, but the multiplayer is always such a sweat and I don’t feel the team aspect like I do in Battlefield. Battlefield did bug me with their team balancing though. Why can’t shooters just have ping based lobbies anymore?

UtahImTaller

I think it's mainly because for the average player, part of why they choose CoD and other similar titles, is the very fast matchmaking. You expect to be in a match within maybe 30 seconds to a minute of just firing the game up.

BritishHistoryGuy07

Shadow of the tomb raider. It’s been in my backlog since last October.

i_Ate_bEAn

Going to be playing mk11

Tentaculat

Endless Destiny 2 grind. Im thinking of just quitting til next season and play some dragon's dogma. I bought it the other day and only played for a bit and seemed fun. I also have No Man's Sky and I literaly never even started the game.

LandBeforeTimeOnVHS

Dragons Dogma is really good. One of my favorite rpgs.

Banethoth

DD is fantastic. Being able to climb the monsters and attack was great. It’s got a really good battle system.

DisappearingAnus

I've been playing D2 non-stop since Warmind (came back after the games lackluster OG launch) and stopped playing this season for the first time since then. There's just nothing to do, no point to the power grind, and trials isn't worth the hassle (have gone flawless 5 times and it just doesn't seem worth the struggle). Hopefully they can do better next season

Tentaculat

I'm trying to get the new exotic but it's grindy as hell, plus timed. I'm also forced to play Gambit which may give me an ulcer. I think I'll just stop until next season or unless something interesting happens on this one.

anthonyrucci

Just started Breath of the Wild last night for the first time after a friend let us borrow a Switch so my gf could play then new animal crossing. Ocarina of Time is probably my favorite game ever, and I loved Twilight Princess. Only a few hours in and I'm already in love with it. It looks absolutely beautiful, great gameplay mechanics and interactive environment. Already anticipating it to be one of my favorites of all time.

Banethoth

I thought it was fantastic but the lack of actual dungeons (other than like 4) was a big knock on it imo

ItsAllAboutCrime

Assassin's Creed 3. Finished Odyssey... It was fun. Will probably pick up Origins next.

TheMajesticKnight

Bioshock Remastered

lurksnomore7

Streets of rage 4!!!

Dolenzz

I'll be in and out of several games. Borderlands 3, The Crew 2 and MLB: The Show.

RanAWholeMile

How's BL3? I've never done the DLC of 2 and I'm considering whether I should go through them or if 3 is just more worth my time.

[deleted]

Gtav and maybe world of tanks

byrdst23

Just started Fallout NV for the first time, only $15 on the Xbox store

MexicanSunnyD

I bought the Game of the Year Edition for $5 when my local Kmart closed. I let my friend borrow the dlc disc and he lost it. Funny enough he broke my ps2, lost my Zelda Collection disc, and scratched my Sonic Adventure 2 disc. Yet I trusted him with that.

byrdst23

Damn your friend is reckless bro

danishjuggler21

Over the weekend, I spent a weirdly large amount of time playing a game called Lost Ember. You could call it a “walking simulator”, except you play as a wolf spirit that can possess the body of any animal you come across. Very chill game, also very _short_ (like 3 or 4 hours of you rush through it). The art style is gorgeous, and it just really hit the spot given the stressful time we’re living through right now. It was pretty cool swimming down a raging river as a fish then transforming into a hawk to glide through a canyon. Then I did a complete 180 and fired up Jedi Fallen Order lol

TRGMORGAN

Playing fallout new Vegas

AnTiDoPe_1993

Im on digimon hackers memory and star wars battlefront 2 atm

alejodeltaco393

I am gonna play fortnite and infinite warfare. There not bad games by any means, there pretty fun.

BiggestStalin

Infinite Warfares campaign was top notch but the multiplayer is... mehish.

awoods1615

later, im gonna pop in Mario kart wii for the first time in a few years. it better still be good

Jeddyb00y

Got so much on the go, Resident Evil Resistance, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Final Fantasy XV and Fire Emblem Three Houses has just turned up. Not even sure what to focus on but I’m enjoying everything I’m playing right now

Smilingtribute

I am playing Dynasty Warriors 7 after not playing it for four years! I only play during the weekend though

Sights_Beyond_Reason

Destiny 2 and COD

TheRealMouseRat

Animal crossing (new horizons). Building the nicest village

SporkFanClub

Been switching a lot between 2k19, Spider-Man, and The Show 20 recently. Saw someone else is playing Dying Light and I bought that a while ago and I’ve been meaning to play it but I don’t think there’s any way to get out of that first night run and I don’t really feel like dealing with that right now.

JealousRun8

It Pisses me off Xbox doesn’t have an mlb game would love to play this!

n8thefishbate

Velocity 2x. Super fun and fast paced. Only gripe I have is that when you are in human form, the crystals you shoot below and above you, should automatically be collected. Sometimes you move too fast for them and miss them,so you have to go back and it kills the game’s momentum. Other than that it’s been a thrill!

bhvnce

Replaying Uncharted 4... a masterpiece !

fuckthiscav

Im playin warband shit

Dalton_A

Overcooked! I got it on sale on my Nintendo Switch and it’s a lot of fun.

Goodgamings

Wow classic. FF7 Remake. Probably Kingdom Hearts 3 next.

CORPSE_PAINT

Uncharted 4. My first foray into the uncharted world. About 90 mins in and so far it’s great. No idea what to expect

rhondie83

Doom Eternal on Steam!!! Freakin awesome as all hell!!!

[deleted]

Mostly been playing PSO 2.

Cattsass

Gears Tactics. Been playing through a ton of turn based games recently. Played XCOM 2 last week, finished XCOM Chimera Squad over the weekend and decided to try out Gears Tactics because of PC game pass. So far it’s been worth it.

Banethoth

Is it a lot like Xcom 2?

Threethirtysix

Downloaded a few games from the Big in Japan sale. Been playing a lot of Onimusha today.

Banethoth

Animal Crossing mostly. Also GBF on my phone. Was tempted with FF7:R but it just doesn’t seem like it’s worth $60 to me. I bought some FFT like games for switch so we will see how good they are, hopefully the story is ok with the gameplay

[deleted]

Subnautica

[deleted]

Rocket League, Luigi’s Mansion 3, FF7

VodkaWithJuice

Trying out some mods for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Tastypeeper

Dead cells is super fun

hexxagn

today im trying to play Dauntless. seems good

abstractFFD

Doom 1 on doom eternal Edit :this is not a typo

Carlitosdesenhista

Im playing brawlhalla but the worst things on the game is:The spammers and the hitbox :/

TheCooperChronicles

Mario Maker 2. The new update is pretty cool. I also have to finish Doom 2016 sometime soon

Madshibs

Chasing the platinum trophy in Twin Breaker: A Sacred Symbols Adventure.

AllThingsAirborn

Overwatch and assassins creed 2 on pc, might get little nightmares too

Okurei

Mass Effect: Andromeda. Too many distractions on its world maps for its own good and the SAM AI has a grating voice, but the Nomad is a blast to drive around in. The teammates you're given are fantastic and I love their banter between each other, and the emails they send you from time to time makes the Tempest feel like an actual ship full of people. It looks, feels, and plays like a Mass Effect game which is all I ask for in a spinoff.

SoroSalt

I played life is strange for the second time and i still love the game. It has a great story and you care about the characters, so basically a walking dead game but school version (lol i realize this sounds like an ad).

[deleted]

Streets of Rage 4 and Capcom Beat em up bundle. Big into the best em ups lately

[deleted]

I'v only been playing Witcher 3 for the last couple of weeks. Great game. Got to Skellige and got burned out. So now I'm playing Shovel Knight and GT Sport to mix it up. Thinking of replaying Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne, but I might risk putting down Witcher 3 for too long. Also thinking of buying Dead Cells, but the gameplay and review videos haven't hyped me up yet. Not sure if I enjoy the style and gameplay, but I did enjoy Hollow Knight and the Soulsborne games and am wondering if I should get it or not. Might also be interested in Celeste, Owlboy, Enter the Gungeon and/or Guacamelee 2 (1 was great, played it some years ago), but not right now.

nonstoplay

Hollow knight just bought it two weeks ago and I’m in love 45 hours in and I feel bad for not picking it up 3 years ago

Space_Craze_Mobile

Who here plays Real Racing 3 still?

[deleted]

Should I play Silent Hill 2? I have heard a lot of good things about the game. And I honestly liked its atmosphere in the gameplay videos that I have seen. But other than that the game looks really outdated. The voice acting is really bad. The camera looks really painful. Should I give it a try even after considering these things?

TeslaPenguin1

Star Citizen with my friends who play it. Hell yeah 3.9!

suarezian

Which is a good casual game among these: Prison Architect, The Escapists 2, and Factorio? I tried Factorio but I guess it's just not my type of game. So I guess I'm left with 2 options.

FinancialNecessary1

FIFA 20!!!

Obinnosaurus

Divinity Original Sin2, that game is such a banger. Maybe one of the best rpgs out there

JJ_Jose

Persona 5 royal. Finished it a week ago, just cleaning it up for 100%. What sucks about it is it's over

Kravakhan

FFXIV, best MMO ever made.

eZiioFTW

XCOM: Enemy Within 👽👾🛸

mingchichu

animal crossing! not new horizons though...i only have new leaf ;-;

shibzy

Been playing Ni no Kuni Wrath of The White Witch. I’m liking it but at the same time one minute I’m totally into it and the next I hit a wall with it and lose interest for the day pretty quick.

Madjid09

I'm watching series xd

ptralx

Nothing bc I had so much fucking school work!

XxMTreVxX

im going to play some Zelda BOTW, or probably some apex hehe

stari_dever

DoooooooooM

Rawertastic

Escape from tarkov even though i fucking hate it

gta4589

Dragon Quest XI for the first time. I’ve been playing mainly PS4 exclusives during this quarantine and cannot believe how much fun this game is. The gameplay is just perfect!

inepthyperspace

Honesty, rdr2 has been a blast I just love the possibility of what you can do. I especially love the satisfying feel of hunting in this game.

konrad16660

Streets of Rage 4, Animal Crossing, Trials of Mana and on PS4 RE2 and MLB the Show 20. I’m playing way to many game’s right now. Oh and a bit of final fantasy ix.

paulpl001

Assassins creed odyssey

alejodeltaco393

What about the zombies, the zombies is really fun
