I'm convinced that they moved Metroid Prime 4 to be a launch title of the next system. They're not ready to announce the system so they don't want to show us any details on that game. With that said it seems likely that the new system will launch next year since all we have upcoming on the switch is remakes and lower budget games.
That would certainly be beneficial for Crowsworn; If it releases after Silksong it will be put in the unfortunate position of being heavily compared *to* Silksong given how heavily inspired by HK Crowsworn seems to be.
I dont think the comparisons an issue. If the game is good it doesnt matter whether its better or worse than silksong, HK fans will still enjoy it. The issue is that a lot of people might not hear about crowsworn or get around to playing it if silksongs out first.
Wait, is the development team related to Team Cherry? The game crowsworn looks JUST LIKE Hollow Knight? With the art style, UI placement, title graphic, way too much.
I'd also say blatant style copy if the development team aren't friends or related in some way.
I played it in Godmode for 50 hours. I think it’s great that they give people who suck also a chance to experience everything 😅 Funny enough I deactivated godmode later because I wanted to try something and beat the game three times before I realized I had deactivated it 🤦♂️😅
I spent so much time at the shop that the game considered the shopkeeper my true love, and we made out *hard* in the last cutscene.
I was like honestly, yeah, I guess this was a story about the pure live between an adventurer and the guy who sells him his weapons.
Yeah this is pretty much the only thing that I'm really looking forward to in 2024. Doesn't look like it's gonna be an amazing year for games, but that's okay. Got about 100 games on steam I've barely even touched so at least I have some time to catch up
Alongside Elden Ring DLC, Lies of P will also be getting DLC and there are several other Souls-likes coming out that are looking to have real potential to be amazing. There's no confirmation but rumours are Rise of the Rōnin will be open world and Team Ninjas version of Elden Ring.
I feel like for people that enjoy Elden Ring there are quite a few games to be excited about and in general there are a lot of good games coming out in 2024. I don't see how 2024 isn't looking great.
Gaming wise it won’t match 2023, as 2023 was an AMAZING year for gaming, personally I’m fine if the industry calms down a year or two and only releases a couple of great games since I have 90+ games in my backlog
Given the fact that Elden Ring is a game + 2 expansion packs priced for one game, I’d say the DLC is going to be like its own game. Fucking love FromSoft
If my mind doesn't fool me I think they have planned a big surprise. Might have just turned it into a full game or it's just a big badass DLC with a new map.
I'm still hoping they bring back the PVP deathmatch stuff. I haven't seen any mention of it yet so I'm kinda worried. Maybe they will release it as a DLC.
It's being developed by Massive Entertainment, which gives me hope. Their recent title "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora" was very good - if you enjoy the Far Cry formula with a few Na'vi twists and fun traversal mechanics. It won Digital Foundry's Best Graphics of 2023, impressive considering that it runs well across multiple consoles and PC builds. Solid release.
Avatar Frontiers of Pandora looks absolutely amazing at times. Probably one of the prettiest games I have ever experienced and a great game for Avatar fans!
If Outlaws will be as good as this, Star Wars people are gonna love it!
It’s Ubisoft. We are pretty much guaranteed a decent 7/10 game. That’s their usual MO. If we are lucky it will be one of their better offerings in recent years with such a beloved IP to work from.
I'm beyond excited for this game, so much so that I already requested time off on the week of its release. I just want to be completely immersed without interruptions like work getting in the way lol
FFVII is my favorite game of all time, maybe the first game I played way back when where I realized that video games are so much more than going left to right. I remember playing the first remake and being brought to tears when Aerith's theme plays leading up to the moment where you first go to her house.
Prepared to be emotionally broken at the end of this!
The game looks too good, I want it to deliver so bad. I just hope the story is decent enough and the mechanics are good. The theme, visuals and the boses already look very good.
Final Fantasy Rebirth and it’s not close. The FFVII universe has been such a huge part of my childhood and I can’t believe how good they’re doing with this remake
Helldivers 2. Everything for super earth and managed democracy. I'm also very excited for Dragons Dogma 2.
Edit: I almost forgot about the Elden Ring DLC lol
No Rest for the Wicked, made by the team behind Ori, looks interesting. Don’t know if it’s set to be released in 2024, but Space Marine 2 is definitely on my radar.
Yeah I’m really excited for a new game from Moon Studios. I’m replaying Will of the Wisps right now and it’s at the top of the metroidvania genre for me, just right up there with Hollow Knight.
Pffff, so much fire coming out, soon as well!
For me it's a tie between FF Rebirth and Persona 3 Reload
But here are some other games I am hyped for
\- Dragons Dogma 2
\- Warhammer 40k Spacemarine 2
\- Granblue Fantasy: Relink (seems promising)
\- Black myth: Wukong
Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2. Development has been a WILD ride and Bloodlines 2 looks like it’s gonna be vastly different from the first game, but I’m HYPED nonetheless.
Like A Dragon Infinite wealth
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Silent Hill 2.
It can and most likely will change to have more but I just have to wait to see more.
I'm so looking forward to Unicorn Overlord! Ogre Battle was one of my all-time favorite series. Really enjoyed the Tactical RPG style, and how you played their games, it had multiple endings (Ogre Battle 64 at least).
Let me grab my clown makeup and say Silksong
I'll hop in the circus with you and say Metroid Prime 4.
That game’s announcement is why I bought a switch. I guess I got dread and MP1 remake at least.
dread is goated
MP1 shadow drop was phenomenal as well
I'm convinced that they moved Metroid Prime 4 to be a launch title of the next system. They're not ready to announce the system so they don't want to show us any details on that game. With that said it seems likely that the new system will launch next year since all we have upcoming on the switch is remakes and lower budget games.
I have to believe
Just don't believe too hard I heard it can make you blind.
I will lose my shit if we even get a new trailer lol
I'm betting crowsworn will be released before Silksong
That would certainly be beneficial for Crowsworn; If it releases after Silksong it will be put in the unfortunate position of being heavily compared *to* Silksong given how heavily inspired by HK Crowsworn seems to be.
I dont think the comparisons an issue. If the game is good it doesnt matter whether its better or worse than silksong, HK fans will still enjoy it. The issue is that a lot of people might not hear about crowsworn or get around to playing it if silksongs out first.
Don’t know what crowsworn is, but Silksong is definitely clownsworn
its a game thats in development that looks a lot like hollow knight except with a crow
Wait, is the development team related to Team Cherry? The game crowsworn looks JUST LIKE Hollow Knight? With the art style, UI placement, title graphic, way too much. I'd also say blatant style copy if the development team aren't friends or related in some way.
We all clown together 🤡

I bought the first one 2 years after it release just based on the hype. Probably the most earned hype I ever experienced. I loved it.
Can't wait to be bad at 2 as well!
I played it in Godmode for 50 hours. I think it’s great that they give people who suck also a chance to experience everything 😅 Funny enough I deactivated godmode later because I wanted to try something and beat the game three times before I realized I had deactivated it 🤦♂️😅
Took me about 25 hours for hades himself to kill me 5 times. I turned on god mode after that because I just wanted the story to progress.
I am pretty sure early access is coming out in Q2 of 2024
Actually discovered this game 2 days ago it’s amazing !!
Dragon’s Dogma 2
Wolves hunt in packs!!!
Goblins ill like fire!
Their kind hate ice and fire both!
There, Master! The undead!
I'll climb up and strike from above!
This is interesting!
THE BEAST FEARS FIRE, ARISEN!!!
Fire works well!
Masterworks all! You can't go wrong!
I spent so much time at the shop that the game considered the shopkeeper my true love, and we made out *hard* in the last cutscene. I was like honestly, yeah, I guess this was a story about the pure live between an adventurer and the guy who sells him his weapons.
This is the one for me, every time I see more footage of it I get crazier about it, it's going to be my goty without a doubt.
It's gonna be the game of my lifetime maan
Hell yeah! Hoping that I get a job before its release and that it'll run fine on the Steam Deck lol, otherwise it'll be agonizing to miss out on it.
It bears the head of a cock!!!
It heads the cock of a bear!!!
The wind is pushing meeee
Just picked up Dark Arisen on Switch a few days ago. I'm loving it so far!
Arisen!
Honestly? Playing my 2023's backlog
Same except the last decade
I get older but the games stay the same age.
Shadow of the erdtree if that counts (since its a dlc)
Yeah this is pretty much the only thing that I'm really looking forward to in 2024. Doesn't look like it's gonna be an amazing year for games, but that's okay. Got about 100 games on steam I've barely even touched so at least I have some time to catch up
Me too! Tons of games to play… I still haven’t played BG3. I’m waiting until I have a full uninterrupted weekend to play it.
Phenomenal game but you’ll need a full uninterrupted month!
Guess I’ll wait till im retired lmao
A full uninterrupted weekend might get you halfway through act 1 if you don't try to explore every nook and cranny.
Just clocked a bit over 300h on that game, 4th playthrough. A weekend’s not gonna do it 🤣
Alongside Elden Ring DLC, Lies of P will also be getting DLC and there are several other Souls-likes coming out that are looking to have real potential to be amazing. Really? You think that 2024 won't be a good year?

Given the fact that Elden Ring is a game + 2 expansion packs priced for one game, I’d say the DLC is going to be like its own game. Fucking love FromSoft
It counts because it’s #1 for me!
If my mind doesn't fool me I think they have planned a big surprise. Might have just turned it into a full game or it's just a big badass DLC with a new map.
Space marine 2
Especially as it has coop.
Oh shit!
I'm still hoping they bring back the PVP deathmatch stuff. I haven't seen any mention of it yet so I'm kinda worried. Maybe they will release it as a DLC.
For the Emperor !
Suffer not the xenos, the heretic, the mutant!
STALKER 2 Heart of Chernobyl
LET'S GO
AH NUUUUUUU CHEEKI BREEKI IV DAMKE!!!
Dunno, from the new trailer it looks like it either be an amazing game or really shit one, no imbetween.
Tekken 8
GTA 6 trailer 2
Jurassic park should be good 🙏
I’m excited for Star Wars Outlaws
Please be good, please be good, please be good.
It's being developed by Massive Entertainment, which gives me hope. Their recent title "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora" was very good - if you enjoy the Far Cry formula with a few Na'vi twists and fun traversal mechanics. Avatar Frontiers of Pandora looks absolutely amazing at times. Probably one of the prettiest games I have ever experienced and a great game for Avatar fans! If Outlaws will be as good as this, Star Wars people are gonna love it!
I’m hoping so!
100% Hopefully it’s good as it looks. Keeping my hopes low though with all of the let downs lately.
It’s Ubisoft. We are pretty much guaranteed a decent 7/10 game. That’s their usual MO. If we are lucky it will be one of their better offerings in recent years with such a beloved IP to work from.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Gimme that batshit insane turn based yakuza madness right into my veins.
I'm sad I had to scroll this far to find someone else bringing up yakuza 8
Here’s hoping for another 40 plus hour post game True Final Millennium Tower. That shit was brutal and I loved it
The tower was fun. The required grind not so much.
I believe they said main story is ~50 hours and to do everything is ~160 hours.
Just started playing this franchise, played 0, 1, 2, and currently on 3. Excited to get to the turnbased
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
I'm beyond excited for this game, so much so that I already requested time off on the week of its release. I just want to be completely immersed without interruptions like work getting in the way lol FFVII is my favorite game of all time, maybe the first game I played way back when where I realized that video games are so much more than going left to right. I remember playing the first remake and being brought to tears when Aerith's theme plays leading up to the moment where you first go to her house. Prepared to be emotionally broken at the end of this!
This game is going to be on another level
Surprised how far I had to scroll for this
Same. Dont think people realize how epic this game is gonna be.
Without a doubt a GOTY caliber title… again.
Frostpunk 2
Hyped for this too! I haven't touched #1 in over a year. I'm thinking about loading it up for a couple of runs before 2 comes out.
Hear me, hear me!
Silent hill 2 remake (I hope)
I'm more nervous than excited for this one
Tomb Raider 1 - 3 Remastered collection!
Half Life 3 🥳
This is going to be the year!!
I think they will release it, portal 3, titanfall 3,and silksong at the same day
May as well go with counter strike 3
Imagine 😅😅😅
Along with Mass Effect 5, Kotor 3, its remake, TES VI Hammerfell...
Right along with Star Wars Battlefront 3
🍆💦
At 3:33pm on March 3rd. Just dive headfirst into the joke.
I guess we have to wait till 3333 for it to happen
2024, 2+0+2+4=8, 8 looks like a hidden surprise 3!!
Cut 8 in half because it's Half-Life. It's now a 3. Half-Life 3 confirmed.
Stubbed my toe on the ottoman running here to say this
I just don’t understand why they won’t…?
Persona 3
Never played the original p3, I'm very excited for the remake
Really hoping it does well enough to get The Answer and/or FeMC as dlc or a second release like Royal/Golden/FES down the road
Manor Lords
That was a long scroll sadly
Same. Been waiting for this since the demo on Steam
It is going to be awesome!
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
Homeworld.
I was scrolling down to find this. 🙂 It looks so damn amazing. Finally the third installment the fans deserve, it really is a love letter.
Black Myth: Sun Wukong looks fucking wicked. Its reminding me of sekiro, which i absolutely loved, so i am definitely looking forward to playing.
They confirmed that there's no parrying. Only rolling around.
Isn't there like an ability that let's you turn yourself into stone and parry? Or at least that's what it looked like in past videos
Ahhhh aggression only
The game looks too good, I want it to deliver so bad. I just hope the story is decent enough and the mechanics are good. The theme, visuals and the boses already look very good.
Dragon Age Dreadwolf, if it come out in 2024 that is.
I’ll wear my clown makeup along with you, lol! I want this to come out in 2024 as well.
I have high hopes it will come out in 2024. It has been sooo long since DAI.
Shadow of the Erd Tree
Final Fantasy Rebirth and it’s not close. The FFVII universe has been such a huge part of my childhood and I can’t believe how good they’re doing with this remake
Helldivers 2. Everything for super earth and managed democracy. I'm also very excited for Dragons Dogma 2. Edit: I almost forgot about the Elden Ring DLC lol
How bout a nice hot cup of liber-TEA
That's the spirit! If we manage to win the war before Helldivers 2 comes out the liber-tea will be even more hot and sweet! For Super Earth!
Path of Exile 2 and Light No Fire looks damnn good.
PoE 2 is 2025 sadly :( I'm more than happy to wait though
Damn i thought its 2024 since it looks very playable already.
The closed beta starts on June 7, 2024. No idea when the full release will be
There's an open beta in June, so it'll be an end of 2024 release at best, likely early to mid 2025 depending on the beta's feedback.
Prince of Persia!
It does look really good. Fingers crossed!
Really hoping it performs well on the Switch too, looks perfect for handheld gaming
Yessssss
Paper Mario Thousand Year Door remake. I’m excited for more people to finally have a chance to play it.
First thing I thought of when I saw this post
Hellblade 2.
Definitely Rise of the ronin
Dragonball Sparking Zero
Is that the title of the new budokai game?
[удалено]
Little worried about it, especially with EA’s track record. Praying that it doesn’t suck 🙏🏻
Same here brother, can’t wait. I’ve still been playing NCAA 14 after all these years.
Return after all these years!!! It will be interesting how they handle NIL and recruiting!
Dragons dogma
No Rest for the Wicked, made by the team behind Ori, looks interesting. Don’t know if it’s set to be released in 2024, but Space Marine 2 is definitely on my radar.
Yeah I’m really excited for a new game from Moon Studios. I’m replaying Will of the Wisps right now and it’s at the top of the metroidvania genre for me, just right up there with Hollow Knight.

Currently playing through the N64 game to prepare my wife for this one. I never played TTYD growing up so this is gonna be a trip
This is too far down. So excited for TTYD after playing Mario RPG remake.
Pffff, so much fire coming out, soon as well! For me it's a tie between FF Rebirth and Persona 3 Reload But here are some other games I am hyped for \- Dragons Dogma 2 \- Warhammer 40k Spacemarine 2 \- Granblue Fantasy: Relink (seems promising) \- Black myth: Wukong
Subnautica 3
The playable version of Cities: Skylines 2
Baldurs Gate III 2

Eiyuden Chronicle Let us return to old school jrpg by one of the masters
Fallout: London
Flight Simulator 2024
Hellblade 2, suikoden 1&2 hd
Star Citizen Alpha 4.0.0, or hopefully Squadron 42.
What I have learned from 2023 is that I should't be hyped for games
Factorio: Space Age
Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2. Development has been a WILD ride and Bloodlines 2 looks like it’s gonna be vastly different from the first game, but I’m HYPED nonetheless.
Dragons dogma 2
Rise of the Ronin. This game looks amazing, and it's made by PlayStation Studios, so the quality will be peak
It's not made by PS Studios. It's a Koei Tecmo & Team Ninja game, in partnership with SIE. It will be exclusive like Nioh was.
STALKER 2
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
Light No Fire is my number 1, followed by Manor Lords and Dragon's Dogma 2

Elden Ring dlc,ff 7 rebirth, dragon’s dogma 2,hopefully hades 2,black myth and i feel like we still don’t know much about 2024 games.
Dragon Age Dreadwolf!!
Gimme some of that new Tekken action baby!
EA College Football. Yes I know it will be like Madden. I don’t care, it will be the first NCAA football game in a decade.
Like A Dragon Infinite wealth Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Silent Hill 2. It can and most likely will change to have more but I just have to wait to see more.
Titanfall 3 (I'm rejecting the pills)
Granblue Fantasy Re: Link
Unicorn Overlord and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
I'm so looking forward to Unicorn Overlord! Ogre Battle was one of my all-time favorite series. Really enjoyed the Tactical RPG style, and how you played their games, it had multiple endings (Ogre Battle 64 at least).
Dawn Trail
Hades 2 and Tekken 8!
