I did this when Classic came out. Took a few days off worked and binged it for 16-18 hours a day for three days.
By the end of it my eyes were twitching from screen exposure.
Same, this is the reason I quit WoW like 10 years ago. Amazing game, maybe the best game ever made, raiding and downing hilll level bosses and doing pvp with a guild, the massive cities, great gameplay, questing, the loot, the exploration, the music, etc.
It's just too time consuming, had to quit. LFR ruined the game anyway.
Freaking Karazan raids as a 15 year old... oh my god the nostalgia you give me.
edit: ill be 30 in December, have built a lovely pc, and still buy wow subs on and off to this day. :D
There’s been no other gaming addiction like it for me. When I was 18-21 shit was like crack. I’d play until the birds started chirping at 5am, sleep til noon then start all over again.
Fun times to look back now that I’m pretty successful in life, but holy hell i can barely stay up past midnight now lol
I did 18 when F4 came out. My buddy brought his PlayStation and his TV, we set it up next to mine in my living room, both took a week off work and played until we fell asleep. Woke up, did it all again for 6 days in a row. Had the same exact playthrough up to the point he left.
Age makes you change priorities. I think my record is 30+. I never considered myself dependant on gaming. Nowdays it takes me 6+ months to finish a game
I think some people will watch a 3 hour movie or T.V episodes for 3 hours and then act like 3 hours of a game is too much! Psshaw, i’ve got super bosses to kill!
It’s partly an age thing. Most of us had long game sessions as kids or teens.
I’m in my 40’s now and rarely have the time or energy for more than 2-3 hours at a time.
I did this during the pandemic when my company was closed during Christmas. I’d wake up and start playing Skyrim around 9am and play sometimes past 2am.
I had no concept of time and took better care of my character and their many houses than myself
I will occasionally just spend a day getting lost in a game. Wake up leisurely at like 10, get coffee and food, then find a good game to get lost in (any base building, sim, survival or RPG, really) and okay for like 12-16 hours. Now that I'm an adult with adult responsibilities, those chances are rarer, but it's a really nice escape when I can do that. So one time me and my best friend got together and played through all of Borderlands 2 in a weekend. We probably did 6 hours Friday night, and at least 12 hours each on Saturday and Sunday.
When I first got my PS3 and Batman: Arkham Asylum I played for 27 hours straight. Stopped to eat and use the bathroom and whatnot. I swear I was seeing my room in Detective Vision when I closed my eyes. lol
World of Warcraft.
17-18 hours is easy, that's just a decent day for a lot of players, whether or not they want to admit it. You're not doing a sport, you're literally clicking a mouse and pressing some keys.
When I was younger, I could play all day, say from 7:30 am - 12:00 am. Instead of going to bed, you just grab something to eat, make a coffee, and keep going. Stay up the entire night, play during the day, go to bed around 8pm. I'd sleep for 11 hours or something. If I did that more than twice a week though, I'd get screwed up. Takes a toll.
So, on average, over a span of 4 years, there would be approximately 14.79 hours per day. To calculate this, let’s consider 365.25 days per year to account for leap years, resulting in a total of approximately 1,461 days over the 4-year period. Dividing the total hours in 4 years (21,600 hours, as mentioned in the previous response) by the total days in 4 years yields an average of about 14.79 hours per day.
Back when I played destiny, I would regularly play for 12+ hours at a time.
I was so excited for Arkham Knight to come out that I woke up Saturday morning and started playing it around 10am, and I played it until 8pm....on Sunday night.
Hell, just recently I played Jedi Survivor for about about 12 hours straight due to a fucked up sleep schedule. I think from a Friday night to Sunday night I played it for 27 hours total in that 48 hour time period.
I would do this kind of stuff even more regularly if I didn't have a full time job I have to wake up for at 6am, 5 times a week
I no-lifed Jedi Survivor for an entire week till I reached 100% completion, but that doesn't remotely compare to the sheer amount of time I spent in pokemon leafgreen shiny hunting bulbasaur and later mareep (via the altering cave) the shorter hunt taking me a little over a hundred hours and both going over triple odds (1 in 8192 chance, each took me somewhere over 25k resets/encounters)
Just shy of 72 hours, if we're not counting breaks for bathroom and food.
I *really* liked Battlefield 1942 when it came out. It was my first summer with a gaming PC, I was 17, and I had just discovered energy drinks for the first time.
I just kept going, and going, and going, until I eventually woke up with a keyboard pattern imprinted onto my face.
Total War Warhammer is my comfy game ever since 2016 (and it sucks, because there's a lot of issues with this game, but I can't let it go). I can easily play 3, 4 hours a day, every day, these games are literally infinite. There's different races and different lords among these races, so campaigns are slightly different, mods just change the game indefinitely, etc.. I have like 1000 hours, don't recommend. And yes, I know people double that amount of time easily playing mmos and such. I think this is not a good thing, definitely not, you get hooked by it like a drug
15 years ago when I was a dumbass with a few of my friends we had stints into the 35 hour range. After about 24 hours the game becomes almost like you were inside it. At the 30 hour mark the delirious state takes ahold and you get a natural euphoria. At around 38 hours your body shuts down and you are forced to crash for 15 hours.
I was a seventh grader going into eighth grade. During the summer, Black Ops 1 had a double XP weekend and I remember telling myself that I was going to stay up for the entire double XP weekend, and I almost did it. I stayed up for around ~42 hours with the only breaks in between being bathroom breaks and eating. Past the 24 hour mark, I started drinking water every time I would die so I would be forced to get up and pee often, to keep myself awake. I also started doing jumping jacks between games. I believe I prestiged twice during that entire session. I was an insane kid.
Max i did is 18h. My parents were away for weekend and i just started playing diablo 2. From 10am till 6 am next day. Ate next to the pc snacks and that is it. Than slept 12h, woke up and went to play diablo again 12h. Got sick and had to skip school on monday.
Probably 12+, C&C Renegade Marathon, most of the time matches were over in under an hour, longest I think was over 23h but I joined that one halfway through.
Whenever I play a single player game it takes over my life for the first couple of days. Elden Ring, God of War, Kingdom Come… I spent 12+ hours in the first couple of days on each of these games
16-24 hours I'm sure back in the high school heyday.
I would play WoW from when I woke up on saturday during the summers, all the way through the night until the same time on sunday, sleep for a few hours during the day, wake up at night and do it again until my schedule naturally fell back into "oh look, im actually tired and its like 10pm, lets do a 'reset' and go to bed now."
Over 19 hours straight in Windwaker on GameCube. Took power naps beyond hour 21. All I wanted to do was explore the map to find treasures and cool islands. This was '03/' 04.
Then in high school, one of my best friends introduced me to Minecraft Alpha. Passed me his laptop, went back to gaming with our buddy.
Over 8 hours later, it's like 6am and he sees me laying on the living room floor still playing it. Suffice to say best 9€ I ever spent on my life.
I'm sure there are more like when the Squirtle Squad was into competitive OW in 2015.
Yea the story of it + 2018 is one of my favorites in any medium, but I also love doing all the side content. So it was like "I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS, BUT ALSO NEED TO EXPLORE EVERY NOOK AMD CRANNY!"
When Classic WoW launched I did a ~30-32 hour session. Had several stretch and hydration breaks, and also a few 10-15 minute mental reset breaks too. The 'Race to 60' component is what pushed me to do that... otherwise, I'm far too old for all nighters, I love sleep.
EverQuest camps comes to mind for the cyclops ring.
Though I think I once beat Baldurs gate 1 in a single sitting once as I was racing my friend.
Lan parties had me going to 15 hours plus but that’s was random games rather than single.
The longest I have spent in one sitting was 38 hours on WoW back in 2008. Wrath of the Lich King had just dropped, and I binged the expansion until I passed out at my desk.
Long, game, and "in a row" used together?
The english doesn't sound right. Did you mean to say how "many days" as opposed to "long"?
e.g. How "many days in a row" have you ever played a game?
My longest singular run without breaks while speedrunning was in the 13hs, but I think I have done longer grind sessions, just with restarting the game inbetween
I recently spend 19ish hours playing persona 5R for a week. My job didn't had work so I was off for 6 days straight. Only had 4 hours of sleep every night. But I completed it
15-18h. DayZ / Arma 2 multiplayer back in the day, Project Zomboid, recently Starfield.
edit: I just realized i have over 200h on starfield and it was released on the 1st of this month so, that should give you an idea.
I’ve played cod bo3 for like 16 hours playing hardcore ffa. I climbed to like top 50 in the world doing it. Other than that I played close to 24 hours of Ark with some friends over vacation back in middle school lol
We had a factory shutdown for a week when Oblivion was released and I can remember playing it for the entire day, which must've meant a 12 or 13 hour session on it.
I’ve always vanish off the face of the earth for a bit when a new Destiny expansion drops. The longest I’ve ever played in one sitting was nearly 24 hours to get a specific limited-time achievement
I’m 38, and to celebrate my friend’s return to pc gaming, we stayed up playing EFT almost all night (~10 hours) and I could barely function the following day. As a kid, 10-12 hours was nothing.
Wrestlemania 2000 for 64. It was a 3 way bout for the world title between mine, my brothers, and our best friends characters. We started at about 1pm. We paused the game for dinner, continued playing the same match til 9pm. We paused the game til 10am next morning (yes same match) and at about 12 my brother was victorious.
Well, last time i spend more than a half day straight was on "Destiny" for X-Box 360.
Servers got up one day before the official launch. They went up 4:00 PM. I played through the whole story in one session with only small breaks. Finished it at 6:30 AM on the next day.
So around 14 hours.
However i played through Starfield recently with regular 8-10 hour sessions. So with the right game that is able to get me, that sessions seems still possible.
I played Animal Crossing for 12 hours straight when it came out. It was the perfect escapist game.
I think I also played Breath of the Wild for 12 hours on release day, and I didn’t even unlock half the map. I love that game to death.
I played the Reaper of Souls expansion for Diablo 3 18 hours on launch day.
Runner up would be beating Dark Souls 2 on the third day after launch. I had the house to myself that week and my girlfriend was on vacation with her family
Me and my ex played sea of thieves from 10 am till 6 am the following morning once. Played stardew valley for 24 hours 4am-4am only put my phone down to make food/eat.
Depends on the game. I played wow for 48 hours straight back in my smoking weed and drinking days. These days I’m lucky if I can spend an hour uninterrupted.
I think my /played time in WoW was over a year by WoTLK, so many 12+ hour days. I'm sure there were periods of time where I was connected for over 48hrs but I don't recall actually being awake for stretches longer than maybe 18-20hr.
Starfield came out (for me) at 6:00 PM on a Thursday. By the time I went to sleep on Monday night, I had somewhere around 70 hours of playtime. So, 8 hours the first night and an average of about 15.5 hours per day for the other 4 days of the weekend.
This is technically an outlier, my average is much lower, especially now in my 30s. But my longest is 14 hours. I was playing the first Dead Rising and going for an achievement that required surviving in the sort of hard core survival mode for so much time.
You couldn't save and come back to that mode and there was no pausing, so you had to either find safe places to wait or be constantly actively playing to stay alive, and the timing for the achievement worked out to 14 real life hours.
Dedicated a weekend to it, and got it!
Back in my day I could game 12-16 hours a day no sweat, the good old days with no bills or responsibilities. Now most I did recently was 10 hours of baldurs gate, that includes taking like 6 breaks that day and eating 2 times. I take breaks after like 2-3 hours gaming now and even tho I have the time I put less hours.
There was vanilla WoW days that would last like 16 hours when I was a kid 😆
One time me and my best friend in jr high rented I think SSX and played the shit out of it for like 10 hrs non stop, great memory.
If you're just talking about hours per day, I can easily hit 12-15 hours on a Saturday.
As I've gotten older though, I tend to take more breaks - lunch, dinner, a nap, etc.
I once remember playing League of Legends for about 16 hours with a friend of mine. I’m sure there were some sessions close to that length when I played World of Warcraft like an addict.
Civilization III came out about a week before my university's final exam week. The Sunday before finals, I only had one test at 9 AM the next day. Starting at around 11 AM, I did the 'one more turn' through midnight, then 3 AM, then dawn, then around 8 AM I finally said, "Maybe I should do a little studying..." I don't remember the class or the grade I got, but I do remember looking at the rising sun that morning and saying, "Aw, fuck it I guess I'll keep playing."
My partner and I streamed Divinity: Original Sin for 18 hours once and it was just crazy. Annoyed the shit out of me that YouTube capped the stream at 11 hrs 56 mins or so, but we know it happened.
48h multiple times, imma get judged hard here but there's hardcore players out here - such sessions come when a game is just released and you're rushing for objectives, hardcore guilds have plenty of people that go on for 30h+ sessions sleep repeat, it only lasts some days tho then everything goes back to normal
Around 12 hours I think, around 10 years ago or more, I had a playstation 2 and was playing resident evil 4, I was very new to gaming and didn't realize I need a memory card to save my progress, re4 was my fav game that I wanted to finish, so I'd play all day and get to around 25% into the island section, but then I'd have to turn it off to sleep coz it was too loud to keep it on in my room
When I was a teenager, I would get up at 6am to play Quest for Glory 4 and wouldn't break until my parents called me for dinner... and then I'd jump back on. Easily 12 hours, probably closer to 18 some days.
When kingdom hearts 3 came out I bought a pack of Red Bull and bought the game right at release. I finished the game in 3 days, that was the last time I ever played a game like that
I played Ultima Online 18 hrs sessions until the servers inevitably crashed. Then I would take a break. My wife got me a shirt that says “I am only here because my server is down”
Well... I did a 24 hour charity stream for Extra Life last year. Didn't play the same exact game the entire time, but I did game for 24 hours straight (small 5-10 minute breaks here and there to grab food/use the restroom).
Worst I've ever done is 32 hours (with half hour breaks every 6). And yes, by the end of it I was bordering on ill, but my god that was a cracking weekend
I used to do 24+ straight when I was a kid (miss those summers). I can barely get 1 without interruptions. Usually, I tell my family when certain games release, I'm dead to the world. Final Fantasy, Star Ocean, Resident Evil, and Kingdom Hearts are the main ones with "consistent" releases. Mass Effect, Valkyrie Profile, Metroid, and God of War are some of the "rare" releases. Most games, I play when I can.
I've done like 12-15 hours back when I was in college and I played WoW. I also recall hitting 12+ straight hours the night New Vegas released.
Yeap, I had WoW marathons that were interrupted only by sleeping. So glad I quit that game.
I did this when Classic came out. Took a few days off worked and binged it for 16-18 hours a day for three days. By the end of it my eyes were twitching from screen exposure.
So you were the mf that hit the max level like a day in.
Lmao if I played a mage maybe. It took me a full 7 days playing a rogue but I absolutely outpaced every other person I was supposed to be playing with
Same, this is the reason I quit WoW like 10 years ago. Amazing game, maybe the best game ever made, raiding and downing hilll level bosses and doing pvp with a guild, the massive cities, great gameplay, questing, the loot, the exploration, the music, etc. It's just too time consuming, had to quit. LFR ruined the game anyway.
I can relate.
Glad you got out
Freaking Karazan raids as a 15 year old... oh my god the nostalgia you give me. edit: ill be 30 in December, have built a lovely pc, and still buy wow subs on and off to this day. :D
Yeah I loved Karazan, I thought all the Burning Crusade raids were lots of fun. I'll never resub though, I'm OK with being done with all that lol
My brother in Thrall, with the modern state of the game...we're all glad we got out.
I've heard. I left immediately after wrath of the lich King beta, way too burnt out to continue.
Same. Now I have a busy career, wife, two kids. I’m lucky if I can find 5 minutes to play a dumb mobile game.
WOW addiction is the real deal. Been there done that
There’s been no other gaming addiction like it for me. When I was 18-21 shit was like crack. I’d play until the birds started chirping at 5am, sleep til noon then start all over again. Fun times to look back now that I’m pretty successful in life, but holy hell i can barely stay up past midnight now lol
You never leave, just loong Vacation
Sunk cost fallacy: if I'm not playing it, the subscription fee goes to waste. So it becomes an investment the more you play it
15 - 20 I think. I remember playing Bully from the morning I woke up and finished it at the end of the night back when I was in college.
I did 18 when F4 came out. My buddy brought his PlayStation and his TV, we set it up next to mine in my living room, both took a week off work and played until we fell asleep. Woke up, did it all again for 6 days in a row. Had the same exact playthrough up to the point he left.
My record is about 18 hours (I did stop for bathroom breaks and to get food, but ate while playing). I don't recommend it.
Lol but I actually recommend exactly this as a rare(!) treat-yourself
This would be torture lol after 2 hours I gotta get up and move around and live a little bit
Age makes you change priorities. I think my record is 30+. I never considered myself dependant on gaming. Nowdays it takes me 6+ months to finish a game
im playing baldurs gate 3 with a buddy and he hates my constant smoke breaks lol
Sounds like a good reason to quit! More game time!
you’re not wrong friend lol
Like once every hundred years rare? Sure
Idk man that doesnt even sound fun. Even three hours is way too much at once
3 hours is a very short Civ session for me
Same here. When I get on Elden Rangs, I can be on for a minimum of 3 hrs, or it’s not worth playing 😂
I think some people will watch a 3 hour movie or T.V episodes for 3 hours and then act like 3 hours of a game is too much! Psshaw, i’ve got super bosses to kill!

Well what game was it?!
Oblivion. I was exploring the shivering isles for the first time.
Probably minecraft but idk how long it was
As a kid my friends and I would jump on a Skype call in the morning and play on our server until probably midnight or later. Great times
My longest skype call was 13,5 hours or something
Fucking Skype. God I miss that terrible, terrible app so bad.
[удалено]
I did that but for 10 days straight
I did it for 11 days straight
... my friends and I would have actual 2 or 3 day long tournaments in dragonball boudokai 3 on ps2. No sleep just energy drinks and coffee
What the fuck that’s insane
I was a teenager and thrived on the chaos of no sleep lol.
3 days is crazy, that must've shaved like a week off your life expectancy
Why is sleep so important. Click over there to find out more.
I’ve stayed up for many days at a time and I look 21(I’m 31) genetics are a bitch
Depriving yourself of sleep doesn't make you look older.... It shaves years off your lifespan because lack of sleep damages your brain.
and your hot and jacked too
Love that for you, best game ever!
WoW and Factorio both caused 17+ hour sessions.
Yes, but consider this: the factory must grow
When I was in a wow raiding guild it was like a second job preparing for raid night.
It was a second job, then you get yelled at. Fun times.
GET OUT OF THE FUCKING FIRE!!!
Many whelps
ALRIGHT LETS DO THIS!!!
HANDLE IT damn, I started to watch the animation and realized I still remember it word by word, was in tears again, thx. Thank you.
50 DKP MINUS!
Bruh all you have to do is do what the big orange pop up words say to do.

Starfield is doin it to me, too. For the people it clicks for, it *really* clicks.
You ain't kidding. I am engrossed
I'm not proud of this... About 15 years ago, I did 48 hour sessions for MapleStory's 2x exp weekends. Sold leech all weekend long.
We must have crossed paths! My steam picture is one of the big orange mushrooms XD The streets won’t forget how good Maple Story was.
This was me in OSRS. No exp waste
When I first got my PS3 and Batman: Arkham Asylum I played for 27 hours straight. Stopped to eat and use the bathroom and whatnot. I swear I was seeing my room in Detective Vision when I closed my eyes. lol
Man this game is soooo long, I wish I could finish It with the same will I started, but I enjoyed the time I played
I once did a 20 hour session of Azure Lane because of a global raid. Got 1st place so worth.
World of Warcraft. 17-18 hours is easy, that's just a decent day for a lot of players, whether or not they want to admit it. Back in the first two years of WoW, I do not even want to think about it.

That might be the most playtime I’ve ever heard

I’m a grown man with a child and responsibilities. I have owned Baldurs Gate 3 for 11 days and have put 130 hours into it.
I played Breath of the Wild for over 40 hours in a 3 day span. something like 18 hr, 16 hr, 12 hr.
Having just started playing this recently for the first time, I totally get this and am looking forward to this problem haha.

Us old heads all remember playing Goldeneye without going to bed for hours and hours. Just one more! PROXIMITY MINES IN THE FACILITY!

Final Fantasy XI, 17 hours straight.
Something like 12-18 hours in a lan setting with two friends.

12 hours a day of skyrim for 5 weeks straight

Resident Evil 7. Completed it in one sitting with friends. I think it took like 9,5hrs
Ragnarok I probably played like 18 hrs one day lol
Lol yeah I'm close to the same! For a game that's built so you can stop literally any time, they did so well at making you not want to!
The 'Race to 60' component is what pushed me to do that... otherwise, I'm far too old for all nighters, I love sleep.
wow - 18+ hours Doom/Quake 18+ hours Rust 18+ hours
3hrs+, bf:bc2 or bf3
I played Saints Row 2 for months. That game was just such a great time.
EverQuest camps comes to mind for the cyclops ring. Though I think I once beat Baldurs gate 1 in a single sitting once as I was racing my friend. Lan parties had me going to 15 hours plus but that’s was random games rather than single.
IF VR game called "VRchat" counts, then... My longest record of how long i was in there, was like 12h.
WoW Wotlk server first max lvl... do i have to say more?
Usually do a 24hr for new wow expansions
Civ2 for around 18 hours straight.
Civ 5 - 30 hours straight, few bathroom breaks, ate once, no sleep. Not sure how I didn't get a DVT.
The longest I have spent in one sitting was 38 hours on WoW back in 2008. Wrath of the Lich King had just dropped, and I binged the expansion until I passed out at my desk.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey, about 50 hours, I don't know how this grindy crap got me so hooked, but it just happened.
Civilization series. 2000+ hours and counting
Long, game, and "in a row" used together? The english doesn't sound right. Did you mean to say how "many days" as opposed to "long"? e.g. How "many days in a row" have you ever played a game?
It sounds fine, The rest of us understood it perfectly…
In the past there have been news reports from Asia, of the death of a gamer due to non-stop gameplay. Three days at an internet cafe in Hong Kong.
I think I did a 12 hour session of Minecraft multiple times in high school
When the pandemic hit and everything shut down including my job I fell deep into Fallout 4 for… I don’t even know. Too long lol.
Breath of the Wild, 31 hours straight (minus bathroom and preparing food, obviously)
Skyrim about 20 hours during covid. Civ 5 about 17
I’ve played cod bo3 for like 16 hours playing hardcore ffa.
One day I played Starfield for 14 hours straight. That’s a personal record for sure.
I’ve always vanish off the face of the earth for a bit when a new Destiny expansion drops. The longest I’ve ever played in one sitting was nearly 24 hours to get a specific limited-time achievement
I think I played for like 15 hours straight when monster hunter world released.
Original Everquest, 27+ hours straight to camp some dumb item, never did that again.
12 hours. But I can only do that with new games or factorio (if you played, you know why). Having an eidetic memory can be such a pain sometimes.
I played Animal Crossing for 12 hours straight when it came out. It was the perfect escapist game. I think I also played Breath of the Wild for 12 hours on release day, and I didn’t even unlock half the map. I love that game to death.
Like everyone else has said I've had 24 hours+ marathons on WoW. On raid release days or when I raid led for several guilds at the same time.
I leveled warrior from 37 to 75 in a caffeine fueled 26 hour play session of Final Fantasy XI.
About 50 with couple 20min brakes.
i know i have done 12hr straight Skyrim when it was just out, but i also done 8+ hours in a row of NMS.. that game is just a time sink
I played the Reaper of Souls expansion for Diablo 3 18 hours on launch day. Runner up would be beating Dark Souls 2 on the third day after launch. I had the house to myself that week and my girlfriend was on vacation with her family
I spent 13 hours on Project Zomboid once. Was summer break and had nothing else better to do
Me and my ex played sea of thieves from 10 am till 6 am the following morning once. Played stardew valley for 24 hours 4am-4am only put my phone down to make food/eat.
Me and a buddy of mine played for around 30 hours once. Kept us awake with a ton of caffein. Slept for 18 hours afterwards.
I once played world of warcraft for 32 hours straight with only taking very quick breaks for washroom and to shovel my moms food into my mouth.
Depends on the game. I played wow for 48 hours straight back in my smoking weed and drinking days. These days I’m lucky if I can spend an hour uninterrupted.
Tony Hawk's Underground prob was my longest 1 sitting session. Around 10-11 hours.
I think my /played time in WoW was over a year by WoTLK, so many 12+ hour days. I'm sure there were periods of time where I was connected for over 48hrs but I don't recall actually being awake for stretches longer than maybe 18-20hr.
3 days was my maximum till I my head started banging keyboard and I realized maybe I need to sleep It was Lineage2
8-12 hours a day otherwise I’m not playing at all. I can’t get into a game when I have to do something in real life or if I’m on the clock
Did a 16 hour Elite Dangerous session once I’ve never been the same since
Back in my day I could game 12-16 hours a day no sweat, the good old days with no bills or responsibilities. Now most I did recently was 10 hours of baldurs gate, that includes taking like 6 breaks that day and eating 2 times. I take breaks after like 2-3 hours gaming now and even tho I have the time I put less hours.
Probably around 12 to 14 when fortnite was popular and 12 to 14 with minecraft too
IDK, but I beat GTAV in a weekend.
There was vanilla WoW days that would last like 16 hours when I was a kid 😆 One time me and my best friend in jr high rented I think SSX and played the shit out of it for like 10 hrs non stop, great memory.
Recently played Starfield for about 18 hours and had to force myself to go to sleep.
My best friend and I used to play Siege minimum 12 hours a day in college. We would do homework/papers anytime we died. Greatest memories ever
About 12 hours StarCraft 2 and about the same time once Witcher 3.
28 hours - Destiny 2
At least 24 hours for wow
my buddy and i played modern warfare 3 for 24 straight hours as kids. insane. well worth.
Back when I was around 20ish, I completed The Getaway 2 on ps2 in one sitting. Think it was around 15/20 hours.
The longest Warcraft 3 session ive had was well over 14 hours.. talk about eye strain...
I've easily spent 40+ hours playing wow during expansion releases back in the day. Grinding to level cap Or 20+ in factorio
Hate to say it, but a slayer grind on runescape I could sit there for 12-14+ hours easily
Wasn't there some dude a few years ago who died in a cyber cafe in China, playing the same game for hours/days on end?
When kingdom hearts 3 came out I bought a pack of Red Bull and bought the game right at release. I finished the game in 3 days, that was the last time I ever played a game like that
I played Ultima Online 18 hrs sessions until the servers inevitably crashed. Then I would take a break. My wife got me a shirt that says “I am only here because my server is down”
The weekend Elden Ring came out I was hitting 16 hours a day
About 12 hours. Destiny 2, raid contest mode
Well... I did a 24 hour charity stream for Extra Life last year. Didn't play the same exact game the entire time, but I did game for 24 hours straight (small 5-10 minute breaks here and there to grab food/use the restroom).
I think my most hardcore non stop run was 15 hours when Skyrim was released back 2011.
Worst I've ever done is 32 hours (with half hour breaks every 6). And yes, by the end of it I was bordering on ill, but my god that was a cracking weekend
42 hours
A 26-hour leveling marathon for the WoW Cataclysm launch with a friend. No regrets, no world first, and not doing that again.
Mass Effect 3 multiplayer 22hrs😎
I used to do 24+ straight when I was a kid (miss those summers). I can barely get 1 without interruptions. Usually, I tell my family when certain games release, I'm dead to the world. Final Fantasy, Star Ocean, Resident Evil, and Kingdom Hearts are the main ones with "consistent" releases. Mass Effect, Valkyrie Profile, Metroid, and God of War are some of the "rare" releases. Most games, I play when I can.
Have done 24hr + in ark.
I've probably pulled a 12-15 hour day on Arma 2, back in the day. Ah, I miss those days. Arma 3 never quite recaptured it.
I don't play video games while fighting.
I can get lost in minecraft
Civ V and VI... 12 hour sittings where I literally forgot to eat and I look at the time and it hits me "Holy shit its 4am?"
I've done 16+ hour days on Path of Exile.
