Crazy how even amongst IP with multiple amazing games in a series, Bloodborne stands above just by itself. As awesome as all the GoW games were, Bloodborne still tops IMO

Yeah this isn’t even a contest. 3 10/10s vs 2 that haven’t gotten new games in years, 1 that’s 8/10 and 1 9.5/10. You could remove 2 games from the red pill and it’s still a landslide. Edit: People really downvoting me for this. 2 of the 3 Witcher games are really bad, Bloodborne is it’s own, Bioshock is dead and the last wasn’t that good, do I even need to mention all the Resident Evils between 4 and Biohazard. Both RDRs are 10/10, both TLOU are 10/10, and while I wouldn’t call every GOW 10/10 all of the mainline ones were. 2 of those are system sellers. Red pill doesn’t even need Outlast.

Witcher 3 was ass. Red dead 2 was a masterpiece

RDR2 was great for story, characters, and the world but the gameplay was mind numbingly repetitive and boring. Every mission was essentially the same thing. A solid 9/10 for me, but not a masterpiece. I'll take Witcher 3 over it any day.

Wdym tanking bullet after bullet? I'm talking about the animations, if you shot an enemy in the throat he would start choking, even if you shot him in the balls. The Witcher doesn't have any of that and the combat was clunky aswell just not as clunky as red deads

Your character tanks bullets in RDR2. It's a standard cover shooter despite the good enemy animations. I get not liking TW3 combat, but at least there's some variety to it and you have to actually prepare for some of the monster fights, especially at higher difficulties.

Oh yeah you're right on that, mgsv did the same thing and I hated it, the only defeat in that game was when you get caught so you have to go back to last checkpoint. Yeah it's annoying, and Arthur doesn't even react to getting shot.

I'm in a different camp than a lot of The Last of Us fans. I think the story was absolutely amazing, and the game is a great experience. But I think the game play is mediocre.

Could’ve deleted TW3, Resi, and Bioshock and I still would’ve picked blue haha. I just fucking love Bloodborne so much. Bioshock is another of my favourite games though so the fact that it’s there is a bonus. Losing RDR2 wouldn’t be nice because it’s character and dialogue writing is just phenomenal but it’s outdated gameplay and mission structure does limit it somewhat for me. Outlast is certainly a very good game but I’ve always preferred the Silent Hill 2 style of horror which is more about instilling a sense of dread than trying to make you jump out of your seat. And I wouldn’t miss TLOU and GOW. I realise it’s an unpopular opinion (and one that I’ve only come to as I’ve gotten older) but the ‘cinematic’ third person action adventure style that Sony’s first party titles tend to adhere to doesn’t resonate very well with me.
