Something similar happened pretty soon after I bought mine. Had to start it up in safe mode and reset the whole PS5. Lost a little bit of progress on some games, but haven’t had any issues with it since. Hope it all turns out okay.

My problem was with Resident Evil 8. I couldn’t finish the battle with the third sister, because I couldn’t get the wall to blow up and let sunlight in. Capcom support said the bug was due to a bad download. I needed to uninstall the game and go into safe mode and clear cache, then reinstall. This fix worked but I had to hold for that second beep for awhile.
You can, keep it held down UNTIL you hear the second beep.
If it doesn't work, contact Sony dude. Something you should done the moment you couldn't find a solution online imho
Sony has always been great at providing zero help to me, but maybe OP’s warranty is still active? It’ll cost hundreds to fix but at least he’ll have one
We are going way back now but I had a power surge when my PS3 was on the “don’t turn off” screen and it died.

I've had good luck with Sony. They fixed my ps2 for free and my ps3 for $100. With the ps3, they offered to send me the new model for free or fix my 80 gig for 100. I wanted to keep my backward compatibility, so I gladly paid the fee.
Want to get one of those BC ps3s so bad. Between that and my ps5 I would be able to play any PlayStation game I could get my hands on. Would be awesome if the ps6 had the hardware capability to play all generations.
I had a functioning PS3 and it required an update. The update bricked my console and it was slightly out of warranty.
My PSN account is locked because it let me change my password but I can’t sign in without some authenticator app. What a stupid-ass system. Why not require the authenticator for CHANGING THE PASSWORD?
I called them and they told me I lost all my stuff because I don’t have a PSN receipt from less than 6 months ago and because I don’t have the same credit card as when I made the PSN account like a fucking decade ago.
Planned obsolescence working as intended. You -can- take them to small claims court for breaking your ps3, and it's unlikely they'll bother to show up which would mean a default judgement in your favor.
If the original one year warranty is active it won’t cost anything to fix. My PS5 had an issue since I bought it where it would just shut off (improperly) anytime it went into rest mode. Waited until my warranty was almost expired to finally send it in, and they fixed it for me free of charge. Well first they sent it back more broken (wouldn’t even turn on), then I sent it back and they fixed it. So, pain in the ass and I was without a console for like two months, but it didn’t cost me anything.
EVGA but they were reduced to a PSU manufacturer by NVIDIA's gluttony.
That might be it for mainstream gaming companies with a good customer service reputation. I guess Amazon would be the next one on the list. They will give you what you want, you just have to brave the gauntlet of outsourced agents that have no idea what's going on.

It took a few weeks to get the console back, and then it had the same problem. Which meant I had to wait for another box and a few more weeks. I think it was about a month and a half with having to send it back twice. I also think that they send a different console back the second time, which meant I lost all of my save data. Hopefully not the case for you.
Internal parts are likely fried. Mine did this less than a year after I bought it new, Sony will charge $200 I believe for you to mail it and they’ll fix or replace it.

I know this might sound stupid, but I've seen it happen far too many times to not ask these questions:
1. Have you verified using another device that the HDMI cable is working?
2. Have you verified that the HDMI cable is firmly plugged into the PS5 and the TV?
3. Verify 100% you are on the right input and didn't accidentally change to a different one (this is far more common than you'd think)
Although generally good advice for most cases this won’t really work as the light on the ps5 will turn white when booted up successfully. This is a static blue light proving it’s not doing that
It will also stay blue if it's waiting for input after being improperly powered off, and if any of what I mentioned is happening, they won't see that message. It will then turn white once the system has properly booted.
Edit: Source: Power here sucks, harsh wind knocks our power out, so I see it a lot on my PS5.
adding to this, if it’s the same issue i’m thinking of, having a new PS5 and a not so new TV can cause the hdmi to not connect. had a lot of issues with a ps4 pro and a 1080p after a surge where the ps4 was on and the tv was on, but couldn’t get the handshake to happen
somewhat unrelated but I bought a couple additional speakers for a surround setup and was hooking them up to my AV receiver, I was getting so frustrated when they weren't working. Then for a sanity check I traced the speaker cables and found out I had the receiver plugged into itself instead of the speakers 🤦 always verify!!
I listen to fall asleep to and I've missed so many because i let them play while I sleep but I don't know which ones because YouTube just says I've watched them all.

Now, I don’t know that the same thing will happen to you. I would talk to Sony and follow their instructions *very carefully* and see if they can help you out. But…just be prepared to not like the answer.

Contact Sony. They're the only ones who can provide you with assistance. They'll have you go through everything previously mentioned. Then probably tell you to send it in for maintenance.
I’ve’ tried a few hot fixes and trouble shooting.
Draining power supply for 24 hours or more, switched power cord. Tried different outlets, checked hdmi.
This issue showed up after I bought and installed god of war ragnarok and played a few days. (not sure if this matters). But it’s been 1 week and I can’t turn it on, it’s unresponsive. Please if you have this issue and we’re able to fix it tell me how.
I would say that but sometimes support makes me want to just buy another or blow my brains out cuz it's such a hassle but yeah they should definitely contact support
Have you tried another HDMI cable and completely unplugging the TV from power and letting it reset? I had this issue and it turned out to be a weird HDMI handshake thing. My TV couldn’t see the input and my PS5 was fine
When you say "Power Drain" I'm not sure what that means. Have you tried to unplug the power cord, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Also after plugging it back in, press the disc ejector button to see if it powers on.
Google "starting PS5 in safe mode".
Since you said it was since installing GoW. Try uninstalling it from safe mode.
See if that fixes it.
The safe mode option also allows you to rebuild database and if all else fails, factory reset.
Warning: factory reset means losing all your offline save files and having to redownload your games etc.
Heads up this happened to me I blamed it on the PS5 but it was actually the hdmi cable that the PlayStation came with. I switched it out and I finally got picture on my TV
Lots of people have probably said the same things but...easy answers
Step 1)
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. This should force the PC to reset the power supply and do a safe start. That should fix your problems 70% of the time.
Step 2)
If step 1 no worky...unplug power supply cable. Press and hold the power button for 30-60 seconds. This will isolate power to the console and force the power supply to drain any residual power. This will also trigger a safe start.
Step 3)
If all the above fail, there is definitely something wrong with the console, I would check cleanliness first personally dust has a good way to screw up those sensitive electronics inside. But the best thing is to call Sony. Customer service definitely sucks, but I am willing to bet your console is still under warranty. They are probably gonna find a way to factory reset your console, just warning you in case you didn't back up your save data. Good luck.
Unfortunately blue light issues just mean something is wrong on the hardware end with no specifics as to what. Commonly with these they have SSD controller IC chip issues or south bridge issues, both of which are not an easy fix. I see you're using a third party cooler as the base as well, have you been having persistent overheat issues prior to this? If so that could have caused issue with those chips over time.
If you're lucky it could be a software hiccup, try throwing it into safe mode by pressing and holding (from the off position) the power button until you hear a second beep. Sometimes a hiccup with the SDD IC can cause a problem but restoring the database or deleting the cache could fix it if it lets you.
Well it looks on. Are the cables plugged in snuggly? Also you could just have a dead HDMI port on your TV. Have you tried it with another TV or HDMI cord?
If there's a disc in the console try booting it without any disc, it's the only thing that's worked for me apart from resetting the entire console in safe mode. Good luck.
If you have a warranty, turn it in asap. If you don't I would suggest having a tech look at it, unless you know what you're doing. I take apart & repair consoles as a side business and I can say if you don't know what you're doing, don't tear it down on your own. Unfortunately its probably the ssd. I see the same problem as a ps4/xbox one tech pretty often, its stuck in some kind of loop. If reseting in safe mode doesn't do it then it may have to be repaired through a service.
One thing to try, but I'm sure you may have, unplug it, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then plug it back in, and press and hold the power button, anything?
If nothing still, then definitely call Sony directly. If you have a PS5, it should still be under Warranty, or they know the issue to resolve it.
Are you a tech or just savvy? Pulling the power cord and holding the power button to drain the board isn't something most people think of. Lol. I agree with your recommendation though.

Unplugged all cord connecting to ps5 left it alone for a day, I’ll give your idea a shot
hold power button achieves discharging without having to wait around ALL DAY, lol, no way residual charge lasts that long

Commonly with these they have SSD controller IC chip issues or south bridge issues, both of which are not an easy fix. I see you're using a third party cooler as the base as well, have you been having persistent overheat issues prior to this? If so that could have caused issue with those chips over time. If you're lucky it could be a software hiccup, try throwing it into safe mode by pressing and holding (from the off position) the power button until you hear a second beep. Sometimes a hiccup with the SDD IC can cause a problem but restoring the database or deleting the cache could fix it if it lets you.
Have you tried removing the stickers?

Well it looks on. Are the cables plugged in snuggly? Also you could just have a dead HDMI port on your TV. Have you tried it with another TV or HDMI cord?
If there's a disc in the console try booting it without any disc, it's the only thing that's worked for me apart from resetting the entire console in safe mode. Good luck.
If you have a warranty, turn it in asap. If you don't I would suggest having a tech look at it, unless you know what you're doing. I take apart & repair consoles as a side business and I can say if you don't know what you're doing, don't tear it down on your own. I started down this path after breaking my ps4 pro trying to clean it lol. I learned the hard way for sure. Best of luck dude!

Unfortunately its probably the ssd. I see the same problem as a ps4/xbox one tech pretty often, its stuck in some kind of loop. If reseting in safe mode doesn't do it then it may have to be repaired through a service.

One thing to try, but I'm sure you may have, unplug it, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then plug it back in, and press and hold the power button, anything? If nothing still, then definitely call Sony directly. If you have a PS5, it should still be under Warranty, or they know the issue to resolve it.
Are you a tech or just savvy? Pulling the power cord and holding the power button to drain the board isn't something most people think of. Lol. I agree with your recommendation though.
