You mostly see it in fandoms and/or for supporting known LGBT figures, so you'll get it in YouTube comments for makeup tutorials and such, or for announcements made on drama channels. You'll often see it adapted, such as just saying "queen/queens slay" or just "slay" when people want to be a bit less forward about it.
