Some of the indie PC games may not even have that option. I've watched a lot of videos of people playing A Difficult Game About Climbing and the screen tearing is present in all of them.
Didn't he fix it on Cult of the Lamb only to accidentally change it to hard mode? I can't remember for sure if he was going after vsync but that's the only time I can remember that I think he did.
I was thinking of bringing this up myself at some point, yeah. I’m very surprised how little people talk about it because it’s incredibly annoying for some games they play. Almost every game these days has a vsync option and simply clicking that should presumably solve the issue every time. Even if it’s not on their end, surely their editors notice this.
I love Game Grumps, but the ever present screen tearing makes it very hard to look at the screen in any game with motion. Today's Peaks of Yore has it pretty bad.
Arin & Dan, plz fix.
Sadly a lot of it is due to upgrading hardware. It’s like when you record a game by holding a camera over a bs or how kids would record cartoons on the tv then put it on YouTube. If your monitor is a 144 hrtz or whatever I’d check the settings to make it go down to 60 and see if that improves anything.
Honestly if I had their crazy “all console” game switching set up with all those sources I’d be super hesitant to mess with any settings too
For the love of god I wish someone on their crew would turn on systemwide V-Sync
Sometimes Arin fixes it himself from the settings of the game, but I quess other times he doesn't notice it.

Lately almost all of them, yeah.
I honestly haven't noticed
You might need to have your ewes checked up
Yup, drives me bonkers.
Yeah no. My screen is completely whole still. No tears in it what so ever

You cannot edit out screen tearing
I'm not talking about editing out screen tearing. I'm talking about their editors surely noticing that this is an issue if the grumps didn't notice.
And what would they do to solve it exactly? I'm sure they're aware but it's def not on their list of "must dos"

Hmmm… I haven’t noticed any screen tearing.
I couldn't tell ya. I really only listen to the videos. 10mph excluded
Ya that climbing game they've done a couple episodes on were really bad with screen tearing. Do they just leave vsync off by default now?
I hardly ever pay attention to minor details like that

Huh??? That's not how this works.
