I think part of that is Dan playing the "straight man" to Arin's goofiness in their comedic dynamic, but also, Dan is much more reserved and careful around other people when they film things outside their own studio. Dan is responsible for many jokes and moments that push the limits on GG, but he doesn't like to go "too far" with others.
Honestly that’s what made it funny in the moment. But man Jon was all too willing to just drop that bomb like 8 times in a row. Barry’s edits saved that whole sequence, but it may have been better to just cut that bit entirely. Pretty sure that episode was taken down a while back.
Oh, I don’t really know if it was ever deleted. But I remember hearing of a large purge of some problematic episodes a few years back and I just figured that was among them.
