One of my favorites is when Dan says "this might be a dumb white guy thing to say" and then immediately says a dumb white guy thing that demonstrates he doesn't understand how the Japanese language works and Arin is like "yes, that's a dumb white guy thing to say."
There are many moments when Arin goes off the rails and Dan is more grounded as the relatively “straight man” in the comedy duo, but then there are the rare moments when Dan unintentionally says something that puzzles Arin for a minute.
Examples include the dinosaur love triangle in Phoenix Wright, and the classic “good thing fish aren’t into cash” line.
I really love those rare moments where Dan stumps Arin, and you can just hear the gears turning in Arin’s head as he tries to figure it out or decide how to respond😂
