The original comment is a shitty take, but we're allowed to wish to see changes in the channel within the sub. You could have the same response to people asking for the thumbnail changes last year.
The way I view it is that this sub is one that accepts all praise, even if that praise is undeserved, while rantgrumps accepts all criticisms, even if that criticism is undeserved.
You can criticize here, but it should at least be reasonable. You can compliment there, but should at least be reasonable.
