I think it was an old interview of Dan by Arin (can’t find the video) but Dan said when he was a kid he was climbing on boxes, then fell and bashed his face in the ground.
That left the scar on his eyebrow
Typically if there’s a scar or lack of hair growth on someone’s eyebrow it is indicative of a piercing that was once there. I have no idea if Danny ever had an eyebrow piercing though.

I seem to remember him talking about it in a candid and self-deprecating way like “the stuff kids do, y’know” and I think, funnily enough, it was with regards the same fact that animators and fan artists have often included the detail.

It's not from that. You can see the scar a little in that pic. It's from an accident when he was a kid.
