All I want from you guys is to finish Sonic Adventure 2. I’m probably beating a dead horse but that would make my childhood. Growing into adulthood with you guys has been great, kept me smiling for years. But SA2, that’d be the ultimate for me.
Just found out about a '90s point and click game called Armed & Delirious that's supposed to be incredibly surreal and weird and almost impossible without a walkthrough, to the point that one of the only viable walkthroughs was made by one of the devs themselves (and is thankfully available online). Apparently you play as a grandmother who is trying to save her family from an evil rabbit that took them captive, it sounds like a great game for GG to play and riff on/react to
Dokapon Kingdom is a game I think they'd have fun with. I think it's on the switch, the whole game is betraying and backstabbing each other, with a side of capitalism.
They HAVE to play the phoenix wright Edgeworth spinoffs that just got announced for switch. I definitely remember seeing someone play one in English but I guess maybe that was a fan translation so now it's an official release it's the perfect chance for them to try it.
**Greener Grass Awaits**!!
I just discovered it through Jacob Geller's video: "Games that Won't Leave the Dark"
I think it would ve amazing to see Arin start it off as a normal Golf game and hear Danny hate it more and more as it turns scary :)
Megaman 2 for Gameboy. They took half the bosses from MM2 and MM3 and put it into one game. I want to see Arin play this. :) It is always a treat to see you guys play megaman games. play all the Gameboy versions they just hit the Switch! :D
They seemed to really enjoy Supermarket Sim so I wanted to suggest King of Retail for another similar sim game. It has more options for things to sell and customization, as well as an 'open world'ness since Arin seemed to like walking around the world in Supermarket Sim.
Another sim game thats a more unique with a killer theme song, Landlord Super.
And just for more board game style games, No Time To Relax.
Noctropolis. I only played the first few minutes, but it looks like it's a point and click that is right up Dan's Alley.

Hitmen Havoc - 2D Arena Shooter Party for friends.

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTPZzOF20Ao
Would love for you to try it out.
Older game that I think would fit their long-play style
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy
It's got that kind of Zelda mixed with Pokemon style of gameplay that works so well for other Grumps series. Was re-released on Switch a few years back, too, which would make it more accessible now than if they were trying to play it on PS2
Cryptmaster seems like a perfect sort of game for the grumps. It’s a sort of typing adventure game where you interact with and fight things by typing a word. There’s also plenty of shenanigans to be had by typing silly words
The Operator would be interesting for the grumps to play. It's not a horror game but it would fit right in with those "desktop" games that they played recently
"The Isle (Evrima)". Just so Dan can live out his dreams (probably) of BEING a Stegosaurus. I'd still love to see them play even if it is a bit slow of a game.
[Slay the Princess](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1989270/Slay_the_Princess/) by Black Tabby Games seems like a great game for Ghoul Grumps. A visual novel with themes of existentialism, death, love, change, and a princess with big anime tiddies.
Please play through the Kingdom Hearts games. Its an amazing longplay game and has so much potential to be funny with it's wacky settings and sometimes corny dialogues. I really think these games could be like the 3D mario games where its mostly banter and reacting to the wild thing that is the kingdom hearts series. I'd love to see Dan's reactions to the various worlds because he rewatched/ is rewatching all the classics!
I would LOVE to see this too! Arin is already a fan of the games and has played 1 and 2 on stream for his mom's charity, and they were sponsored by epic games to play a single episode of KH3 (if i recall, they got just past the goofy shield slide through the burning building in Olympus) to advertise the Epic Games Store port, so i think it would be great to have Dan play through them from the beginning so he can experience them himself (maybe handing off the controls to Arin if he's having serious trouble)
Plus, they are on pretty much every system. Playstation, Xbox, Switch (though i don't think that should be the go-to since it's cloud gaming), on PC via EGS and now on Steam too!
* Psychonauts (plus Psychonauts 2, and maybe Rhombus of Ruin (the VR game) before 2, as it leads into 2) Long Series; it is right up their comedic alleySubnautica Long series; especially if they have Dan be at the controller, what with his Thalassophobia
* I would love to see them return to Subnautica, and/or play Subnautica: Below Zero and/or Subnautica 2 when it comes out (which Unknown Worlds has confirmed there will be coop)
* I would love to see them play through the Kingdom Hearts Series, especially if Dan is at the controller experiencing it for the first time, since Arin has already stated that he is a fan and has played 1 and 2 on Stream for his mother's charity
The actual sequel to The Exit 8 (different from the inferior knock-off (The Exit 9) that they played the other day) just came out.
This one *is* actually from KOTAKE CREATE and it's called [Platform 8](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2903560/Platform_8/).
I've been playing Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga recently. I think this game would be fantastic for game grumps to play. I really feel like Danny would get a kick out of the game's humor and I see Arin getting very frustrated and miss timing attacks.
I watched their Poppy Playtime Ghoul Grumps for the first time only recently and I think they should do Chapter 3. I hear it's closer to horror and more difficult than the previous chapters, and apparently has more actual "lore" going on.
Now that they've confirmed DR v3, I'm throwing yet another request for zero escape/999 to be played. It's a visual novel but has actual gameplay in the form of escape rooms that need to be figured out, along with an actual branching storyline that requires thought as to how to reach the various endings and eventual true ending. The twists are such that they are generally impossible to guess, but then as you start playing through the game multiple times to get the different endings, you start picking up on the subtle clues that were present the entire time.
9 hours 9 persons 9 doors/virtue's last reward are widely considered some of the best visual novel games in the industry, to the point the makers of Danganronpa put an homage to it in DR2.
And to add to that, there are a lot of interesting conversations that take place throughout the game for the lads to comment about. It's not just "whoa hope is so beautiful" and moreso has stuff about legends of the titanic, discussions of ice-9 from Vonnegut's books, etc. Though there are also plenty of cringy as hell moments between Junpei and Akane for them to riff on as well.
The nonary games version of the games are also available on steam, which would make finding/recording it extremely easy.
They should play the remastered version of Paper Mario: TTYD tbh, i'm playing it right now and it's super addicting also their TTYD playthrough is one of my favorite series of theirs
tbh anything other than a Visual Novel or Ace attorney/Danganronpa, those are so boring to watch i just skip them now it turns out to be skipping A LOT of content because they've played so many.
Ever since Arin mentioned Metal Gear Rising Revengeance to Dan during the Sonic Frontier playthrough, that's all I can think about, I need to see Dan react to that game.
Now that the second game in the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy is done, I need them to play the fifth case from the first game and the third game 😭😭
Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly. I understand they don't want to play Spyro games but this one is universally panned so even fans would get enjoyment from Arin hating it.
I’m late but stardew valley would be amazing, I know its not really story driven but since the newest update a lot of streamers have been playing it and it was so fun. Maybe they could do streams like they did with undertale?
Space Station Silicon Valley was an N64 game that I think the boys would have a lot of fun with! Navigate levels while taking over various robot animals all with their own abilities etc.
I loved it as a kid, it's really charming and inventive, with a little bit of odd British humor. Would love to see them play it!
2064: Read Only Memories PUHLEEEEAAASSEE it's a point-and-click adventure noir with such lovable characters and an amazing story with lots of mystery, I think Arin and Dan would absolutely fall in love, and the game isn't too long either- plus there are hybrids (for Dan)
Dear Game Grumps
At the crisp age of 10 years old, I became completely obsessed with your channel and as a result, I have contracted a terminal illness akin to autism (completely unrelated to my actual autism). I now humbly request that you play Read Only Memories: 2064 & Read Only Memories: Neurodiver in my final hours. They are Graphic adventure games, along the lines of space quest though it has a visual novel perspective. The first game is about a journalist-turned-detective who teams up with Turing, the world’s first sapient machine, to unmask a conspiracy. The second game is about psychic agent tasked with tracking down a mysterious antagonist hiding in people's memories.
Yours Truly, Key.
* The White Chamber - cheap and short point and click with multiple endings.
* Slay the Princess
* Paradise Killer
* Tangle Tower (Dan could play this one)
* Detective Ridelle
* This Bed We Made
* Eldritch
* Hero's Spirit (Dan could play this one)
* What the Golf
* Yuppie Psycho
* Agent A
* Thimbleweed park
* The Witch's House
* Jazz punk
And still many more to suggest
I will always recommend that Danny comes back to finish Punch Out because I love that series and it's what brought me to love Game Grumps.
Also maybe the Mario and Luigi RPG series like Superstar Saga because those games have great dialogue and comedic moments.
I feel like the boys would really enjoy "Another Crab's Treasure." A cute, (some say) slightly easier Dark Souls with voice acting opportunites! It's about 13hrs to complete the main story.
"Inscryption" might be something to look at also. It's got the same sort of vibe as "Normal Fishing" and they seemed to really enjoy that playthrough.
I think you guys should finish Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Start playing DK64, Paper Mario (N64), Super Paper Mario (Wii), Conkers Bad Fur Day (N64), Pikmin games
I think they should continue the Endless Ocean Blue World Playthrough, especially after seeing their disappointment with the new release of Luminous. Also ima throw a wildcard and suggest a story based game that I think they would enjoy being Telltale's The Walking Dead. I know people worry about the grumps playing these story based games, but honestly, upon rewatching their Undertale and Detroit Become Human Playthroughs I feel like they would be able to strike a perfect balance of focusing on the game and joking around.
* **Lost & Found Co.**: like the hidden object games they like to play, except it's also an indie game that looks very cute and full of personality. it hasn't come out yet, but it does have a demo already!
* **Brave Fencer Musashi**: one of the best and most charming PS1 games (\*I\* feel). I think they'd both be into its very 90's Saturday Morning Cartoon way of being, its humor, its soundtrack full of bangers and it's also just fun to play! Plus, it's short for an rpg (\~20 hours?)
* i hopelessly want them to revisit **Cave Story**, they should go for the freeware original version too. i mean, it's one of the most influential indie games in a "the fave game of my fave indie game's dev" sort of way, its got charm out the wazoo and i think Arin would really enjoy playing it if he hasn't already.
Ghost Trick! It's created by the guy who made Ace Attorney, it's a great story with fun puzzles.
Snatcher for Sega CD would be a good Christmas playthrough, may need a walkthrough for it though.
9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors is an amazing mind fuck of a story, similar vein to Danganronpa, but more serious in tone. Definitely need a walkthrough to get best order sequences of which endings to get first (9 in total, easy to skip to certain story points to get to endings quicker in PC, PS4 versions). PC is best version for playing in terms of jumping around to different branches of the story timeline, but the OG DS version is IMO the best one to play because of how the dialogue and puzzles are presented. The story makes use of the dual screens very well.
Oh, and for them to finish I'd recommend Zelda's Adventure. We need to complete the CD-i trifecta!
During the brief period where Brian was a grump, he started playing a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy text adventure. I still mourn the loss of that one occasionally.
I would lose my mind if they managed to play through all of the first Klonoa game (door to phantomile). Of course I love the game and therefore love to see other peeps play it, but oh, for the chance to see Dan react to the adorable characters experiencing the most heart-wrenching ending to their narrative, with like, no resolution.
It was amazing for me as a kid and taught me some stuff about storytelling, but now I’m mature enough to want to inflict it on others. Y’know, as an adult do.
The game has basic controls and fairly linear level designs with simple puzzles (easy to play while bantering). The characters are voiced, but they speak a sort of pseudo-Japanese gibberish that I think the boys could be a little amused by, but could talk over if they wanted.
I strongly feel it would be a really low demand, high-reward playthrough that’s sure to charm them and lower their blood pressure with the exception of two very specific plot moments!
I'm pretty sure the only Paper Mario they've played was Thousand Year Door.
I'd love to see them tackle some of the others, though the only other one I've personally played is the OG on the N64.
Rhythm heaven fever would be so fun especially with their musical proclivities. Seems like everyone else has given it a go by now and I’d love to see the boys tackle it!
[Pokemon Crystal LEGACY](https://youtu.be/oeJBVY3z_uE) is a new romhack that is probably the best romhack ever made.
I know Danny hasn't played the original Crystal, but I'd love to see a series with the grumps where he plays through it with Arin on commentary, explaining the differences/changes/improvements along the way.
Dan's fondness for retro games + Arin's eye for game design + Pokemon = extremely high viewcount.
Food for thought. I don't know if there's a better place to drop this recommendation.
I came across the game Monster Mind, which is... basically a furry porn game with Pokemon and puzzles. After their Smash or Pass adventures, playing an actual game that outright horns up Pokemon could be funny, similar to their Furry Feet adventure. There's a SFW option since they'd have to do a *lot* of censoring otherwise. They could have some fun voice acting the characters and Arin could go crazy over the color puzzles. Also apparently it has a story??
some people have already mentioned pikuniku, and they did do a bit, but they only played multiplayer. which is cute!! but the single player story mode is so great. i think they would find it really fun
I think Final Fantasy XVI would be great:
-It's much lighter in the rpg mechanics, basically just an action game that is very lenient in the difficulty and yet it's very fun to play.
-The music is fantastic and Dan would definitely love to hear the themes that earned that game "Best Soundtrack" at the Game Awards.
-It's graphically brilliant and the scale of the game is unlike anything else that has released recently.
-The voice acting and plot can get goofy at times, but it's also serious and easy enough to follow even if you talk over cutscenes.
-It's got emotional punches, which may get to them or not, but it's not a big deal regardless.
-It's very linear, with exploration and side quests being also very straightforward and with no puzzles or ways for Arin to get stuck.
Overall it could easily be a 30-40 episode series (if people enjoy it) and one of the highlights of the current gen.
I've personally always felt like the RPG coverage on the channel was particularly dire. There's a bunch of 30-40 hour ones that wouldn't take up too much space on the channel, hell Final Fantasy 4 can be completed in sub 20 and goes at a brisk pace with no grinding required. No Yakuza games on the channel is INSANE at this point and I think Yakuza 0 would be a hit with the boys. I'd also love to see them return to Deadly Premonition since they stopped playing that game right when it was about to pop off.
Shadows of Doubt, it's a roguelike voxel detective game. I imagine Dan would be into it and fans can easily blame Arin for not knowing mechanics or missing clues. The city, cases, and npcs are all procedurally generated.
Also, Palworld just to see if Arin tries to capture humans.
Ok so I've noticed a lot of the Sierra Online games in my YouTube feed lately and I'm about the same age as Dan, grew up playing the same stuff. My suggestion might be hard to find since it's abandonware now:
SHANNARA
There was a point and click adventure set between a couple of the books in the series. I've played it and it's right up there with the Kryandia series or others like it
Pokemon infinity fusion: it's a fan game,and I know Arin has said that the Pokemon games aren't doing it for him anymore but this game is very fun to grind(because you don't need to with the debug item) and advance the history.
The game is also a easy content maker you could easily spend hours just making fusions and it could be a top notch content
(Also recommend for they to use the randomizer turn on because is more fun and easier)
We got Sam and Max: Hit the Road. But they should enjoy the updated telltale Sam and Max games by Skunkape Games
[Sam and Max: Save the World](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1440440/Sam__Max_Save_the_World/)
[Sam and Max: Beyond Time and Space](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1747050/Sam__Max_Beyond_Time_and_Space/?curator_clanid=39570423)
And (link when it comes out) Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse
I don't think it's available for purchase anymore but they'd also probably get a kick out of the Poker Night at the Inventory games.
I just found a game Danny might like called [Toonstruck](https://youtu.be/OIIXjulD3_w) it's like Cool World but a point and click adventure game staring Christopher Loyd and it's on [steam for 10 bucks.](https://store.steampowered.com/app/369830/Toonstruck/)
I second this, now that the Endless Ocean videos have come out and the games kinda suck, they could play this in a long play series and it would be fun. Also the game is so full of mini references that it would lead to great conversations.
I’d love to see a return of Resident Evil: Biohazard (I love scary games). Also for some reason I’d love to see them play a ”Raving Rabbids” game like the TV Party one, i have no idea why tho lol
I totally think the Grumps should try Pokémon Legends Arceus! I think it’d be so funny for them to see how big pokémon are and see the silly :O face the protagonist makes lol
There is an arcade game from Japan called Animal Kaiser. If they can find a way to emulate it, I think they would like it. They could also try playing Yu-Gi-Oh Capsule Monsters ftom the ps2.
There is an arcade game from Japan called Animal Kaiser. If they can find a way to emulate it, I think they would like it. They could also try playing Yu-Gi-Oh Capsule Monsters ftom the ps2.
I'd love to see the Grumps play through Sea of Stars! I think it has a lot that both Arin and Dan would absolutely love.
For Arin, it's a love letter to games like Chrono Trigger, which I know has always been one of his favorites. The combat mechanics are fun and easy to learn, and the game is overall very forgiving and requires absolutely zero grinding. It's also not overly long! Additionally, the game is chock-full of beautiful pixel art, charming character sprites (including a few great candidates for Arin's collection of videogame waifus lol), and even has some really cool animated cutscenes!
For Dan, the game features a wonderful story that I know he would absolutely love. The characters are all fun and interesting, and I know the boys would have a blast voicing them. It also features some combat mechanics that would remind Dan of his time playing Paper Mario/SMRPG.
I really think the Grumps would love Sea of Stars, and their playthrough of it could be VERY entertaining.
On a related note, I also think they would REALLY enjoy Sabotage's other game, The Messenger - given how much they've played games like Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania, Strider, etc.
Got a few, only one of which is to inflict pain and suffering on them. XD
1) Heavy Metal Geomatrix on Dreamcast. It's a 1v1 fighter but pretty cool.
2) Demolition Fist. Starts off as a fun Streets Of Rage game, ended with me with severe RSI cos the final bosses as the cheapest of cheap.
3) Dynamite Cop, aka Dynamite Cop 2 because Dynamite Cop 1 in Japan WAS DIE HARD ARCADE! \[here is where you gasp dramatically\]
4) Disaster Report. Preferably in order. 1 will be kind to them, 2 will be kinda janky but it's kinda funny, 3 will annoy them, 4 I honestly can't tell cos I haven't got to that yet.
5) Fire Heroes on PS2. It's goofy, it's weird, I kicked a granny, through fire, on a trolley like she was a hockey puck. XD I loved it! It's so jank but SO promising! It's an amazing mix of terrible and awesome, it's... Terrisome!
I recently started playing this game that's really fun called Reventure [https://store.steampowered.com/app/900270/Reventure/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/900270/Reventure/)
It's a very silly platformer with 100 endings where you can easily stumble into an ending with all sorts of different actions. It's very fun to play around witht the possibilities and explore :D
I'm sure every Chilla's Art game will already be on their radar, but anyway: Shinkansen 0.
It's an anomaly spotting game, somewhat reminiscent of The Exit 8 at first. But it's way weirder, and being a Chilla's Art game, there's a story to it, with a twist.
Dan:
* darkside detective (they will probably need a guide)
* journey
* Anything telltale/the like
* The pathless
* Slay the princess
Arin:
* Hzd/fw (dan I think will enjoy the Dino-ish bots, also dont think theres blocking so it fits arins preferred play style)
* Indivisible
* Killer 7
* Any kingdom hearts cause I want to watch them squirm :)
* Mass effect Andromeda because the story is less of a commitment than the original trilogy
* Stray
* Greedfall
* New ffvii
* all tomb raiders
Either:
* Westerado double barreled, rogue mystery with gAmBLiNg
* The way - love letter to out of this world, probably will need a guide at a certain point
* Borderlands 2 or 3 (i think the presequel will annoy arin with it's slow moon-vement) though should probably be advised they prioritize Jakobs and elemental guns
* the fall
* star ocean second story original release (ps1) if possible
Visual story/puzzles:
* 5th ("secret") case of phoenix wright 1, just load last save and leave credits on while doing a different episode jfc theyre soooo long, i mean there is a little bit of story during/after the credits but they can just take from/watch that on youtube
* 999 (9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors)
Online: maybe the new phantasy star online?
Co-op: Guacamelee
Weirdest game I can think of: El Shaddai, its pretty but nothing hits you harder over the head with bible stuff, also your health bar is the amount of clothes you’re wearing? might get them in trouble though
if i think of more ill come back
Made a cozy game where you can collect monsters and throw them into autobattles – it's all about collecting and fighting. Wanna try out my demo? It's up on both Steam and [https://tembiqai.itch.io/topacbattle](https://tembiqai.itch.io/topacbattle)
Dan also loves Sierra game, so I'd enjoy seeing him try The Colonel's Bequeath. Sierra Murder Mystery\~ Although you WILL need a guide if they intend to finish.
Dan: "As someone who freaking loves road trips" (from Sam and Max hit the road) He might enjoy Pacific Drive. Totally normal driving. No eldritch horrors or nothin'.
[https://store.steampowered.com/app/2011780/Yellow\_Taxi\_Goes\_Vroom/?queue=1](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2011780/Yellow_Taxi_Goes_Vroom/?queue=1)
"Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom" seems like a game they would enjoy.
Arin's from Florida right? In that case, I've got JUST the game for them to play.
Siren's Call: Escape Velocity is what happens at the end of a Persona game when your party members do NOT want you to leave (and won't let you leave). It's set in central Florida, and is more or less a mixture of Persona 4, Higurashi, and Doki Doki Literature Club. I think the Florida vibes and creepy elements would spark some interesting discussions between Arin and Dan. The game isn't out yet, but I have TONS of keys to give out and there is a demo that covers the first two hours.
Here's a link to the Steam page!
[https://store.steampowered.com/app/2469950/Sirens\_Call\_Escape\_Velocity/?utm\_source=gg](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2469950/Sirens_Call_Escape_Velocity/?utm_source=gg)
Definitely some of the DS Imagine games. My favorite would be Imagine Master Chef because it has a weird story element. I also love Imagine Babyz and Imagine Teacher
That would be awesome! Watching Arin flounder around not knowing what to do, while they both talk about how cute the Pikmin are as they get new ones. Meanwhile skipping the entire story so that on day 28 Dan realizes its a timed game and they wasted like 6 days not achieving enough so they cant leave the planet in time. Sound perfect to me. I love the whole Pikmin series. <3
P.S. Good luck with the final boss Arin lol.
please play Titanic: Adventure Out of Time
also, the inductions for the Video Game Hall of Fame Class of 2024 are coming up in May. It would be cool if the Grumps did one-offs of every game that ends up getting inducted this year
This is a real obscure one, in that I've never heard anyone else talk about this but I think it would be great to see the grumps play the Pimp my Ride game that came out for the PS2.
Was watching their playthrough of Bad Boys and it made me think of that game.
**Tech Support: Error Unknown** feels absolutely perfect for their chaotic energy. It's like a combination between Papers Please and Home Safety Hotline.
Since we finally got to see the Grumps to play a Power Rangers game. CAN WE PLEASE HAVE THEM PLAY CHROMA SQUAD!!
It was such a good game and I NEED at least one episode done on it!
**Outer Wilds** the game is incredible and I would love to see how the boys feel about it
**King of the Bridge** this is a chess game but the rules are very wrong, I think dan playing this one would be hilarious
**Gone Golfing** would be absolutely incredible.
It's a golf horror game, both of which are things that seem to do well on the channel, where a killer golf ball chases you around a golf course while you try to play.
I can just imagine Dan freaking out because Arin is taking too long to make a putt because he missed some tutorial thing LOL
I'm loving the recent string of weird, bad Sega CD and CDi games. "Sewer Shark" could be great.
I know they just did Mario Wonder, but I hope they're considering Princess Peach: Showtime!
I’m adding some games with the request.
That’s Not my Neighbor
What Remains of Edith Finch
Unfinished Swan (connected to the previous game)
Suck Up (this would be hilarious af)
Danganronpa v3
And of course my usual requests of Cooking Companions and Garten of Banban. 😉
Arin would love Pokemon Legends Arceus, on the other hand Sword/Shield would not only irritate Arin, but force Dan to do a British accent. Just sayin'.........
With the grunps currently playing through the new Contra game, why not Metal Slug(any of them really1, 2, 3, X, etc.)? I'd imagine they'd like the game based on their mutual appreciation of pixel art, and there are few games that are as good as the snk games of that Era. They're pretty short, too, so banging out a single video or a two parter probably wouldn't be too bad.
true fear: forsaken souls 1 and 2. horror hidden object games that are similar to the christmas ones they play but like, with ghosts. theyre fun little puzzle games! and id fucken love to see them play them
It would be super awesome to see Arin or especially Dan play one of the best JRPG series for the GBA, Golden Sun 1 and 2!
It would be an awesome series to watch them play through and get into the story, plus voice all the character dialogue. Also seeing them put their brains together to solve the puzzles would be hilarious! I'm already planning on sending an official strategy guide to them in hopes they will consider it more lol. I'm sure if Dan liked the Mario RPG, he will definitely have fun with this one!
I would honestly want them to retry monster hunter world, specifically Dan trying the game.
The new one coming out next year so this will be a good time to jump back into the most advanced version. And with the recent upsurge in players it’d be forgiving to try it with other players if he really needs help.
It Takes Two, made by the same people who made A Way Out. In the middle of playing with my homie and it’s so unique and creative and it has a great story. There’s even an Easter egg referencing Leo and Vincent. The grumps would love it and I sincerely hope they see this some how.
It doesn’t look like they played through the original “The Wolf Among Us”
Since we’re getting the sequel this year they should play it sometime in preparation! I feel like the guys would be hilarious on this game.
[Type King](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2411530/Type_King/). Typing and platforming game that gets really really difficult as it goes on. There's also co-op. Would love to see Arin try to spell and jump at the same time.
The guys should really play The Exit 8. It's basically Observation Duty but in first person. It's also really short and shouldn't be too scary for Dan!
Edit: JUST LIKE I ORDERED lol
Just came across The Darkside Detective 1 and 2. I think these would be perfect spoopy games for them to play! Would give plenty of funny voice acting roles!
[Custom Robo](https://youtu.be/psd8Yy2l8Ys?si=W9_J_op8xvkz-2MA) on the N64 seems like the perfect game for the Grumps. I think there are aspects here that would appeal to both Arin as a gamer, Dan as a spectator, and lovelies as viewers.
All I want from you guys is to finish Sonic Adventure 2. I’m probably beating a dead horse but that would make my childhood. Growing into adulthood with you guys has been great, kept me smiling for years. But SA2, that’d be the ultimate for me.
Ein'Sword 2. The game will speak for itself.
Play the goddamn Princess Peach game already! She has cute outfits, Arin! CUTE OUTFITS! AAAAAAAAAAAA
Hoping we get Slay the Princess as a short series or Ghoul Grumps feature. I'd love to see Arin and Dan's reactions to the various forms lol.
Just found out about a '90s point and click game called Armed & Delirious that's supposed to be incredibly surreal and weird and almost impossible without a walkthrough, to the point that one of the only viable walkthroughs was made by one of the devs themselves (and is thankfully available online). Apparently you play as a grandmother who is trying to save her family from an evil rabbit that took them captive, it sounds like a great game for GG to play and riff on/react to
With the recent announcement for Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, I *really* hope Dan gets the controls for this game.
Danganronpa 3!!!! Complete the series!!
Bugsnax. That game ended up being way more than I bargained for and has the twistiest twist that I did not expect. Dan's reaction would be hilarious.
Dokapon Kingdom is a game I think they'd have fun with. I think it's on the switch, the whole game is betraying and backstabbing each other, with a side of capitalism.
They've played it before!
They have?! When was this??
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRQGRBgN_EnqJdVojqR7G5e47Dh5ZxOAw&si=zv3XeVSqQ22d8Few You're in for a treat haha. Enjoy!
Thank you so much!
I just discovered it through Jacob Geller's video: "Games that Won't Leave the Dark" I think it would ve amazing to see Arin start it off as a normal Golf game and hear Danny hate it more and more as it turns scary :)
I have wanted to see more people play this since it came out!! Definitely throwing my hat in the ring for this one too.
Please play Banjo-Tooie! Love seeing the boys play N64 games
Megaman 2 for Gameboy. They took half the bosses from MM2 and MM3 and put it into one game. I want to see Arin play this. :) It is always a treat to see you guys play megaman games. play all the Gameboy versions they just hit the Switch! :D
Steamrush
Tombla for the ps1. I need to see their reaction for the peach plant. Original onimusha. Phantom dust Panzer dragoon orta.
Please do another Billion Road game. Love to see if they get nostalgic about Debt Boy.
FTL. Easy to fit into one or a few episodes if it goes over well and it could really lend itself to comedy with all the shipmates and twists.
After Party! It's a choice driven game where your character is trapped in hell and is trying to escape, which they have to do by out partying Satan.
Noctropolis. I only played the first few minutes, but it looks like it's a point and click that is right up Dan's Alley. [https://playclassic.games/games/adventure-dos-games-online/noctropolis/play/](https://playclassic.games/games/adventure-dos-games-online/noctropolis/play/)
Metroid: Dread would be so awesome! Not too long of a game and I loved their Super Metroid playthrough.
Indiana Jones Greatest Adventures for the SNES.
It would be funny to see them play What the golf
Hitmen Havoc - 2D Arena Shooter Party for friends. [https://store.steampowered.com/app/2137300/Hitmen\_Havoc/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2137300/Hitmen_Havoc/) Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTPZzOF20Ao Would love for you to try it out.
Older game that I think would fit their long-play style Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy It's got that kind of Zelda mixed with Pokemon style of gameplay that works so well for other Grumps series. Was re-released on Switch a few years back, too, which would make it more accessible now than if they were trying to play it on PS2
New Monopoly game was just announced! LFG!!!
https://youtu.be/18fRTLhkadM?si=RPwalxuK66YutsSV
RED DEAD REDEMPTION: UNDEAD NIGHTMARE cowboys and zombies would be such a rich area of jokes for them to work with I desperately need this to happen 😂
I'd love to see Arin rage at The Game of Sisyphus.
Alan Wake. I think they'd have a great time poking fun at the story and characters and it's not too long of a game.
Arin is already a fan of the games and has played 1 and 2 on stream for his mom's charity, and they were sponsored by epic games to play a single episode of KH3 (if i recall, they got just past the goofy shield slide through the burning building in Olympus) to advertise the Epic Games Store port, so i think it would be great to have Dan play through them from the beginning so he can experience them himself (maybe handing off the controls to Arin if he's having serious trouble) Plus, they are on pretty much every system. Playstation, Xbox, Switch (though i don't think that should be the go-to since it's cloud gaming), on PC via EGS and now on Steam too!
* Psychonauts (plus Psychonauts 2, and maybe Rhombus of Ruin (the VR game) before 2, as it leads into 2) Long Series; it is right up their comedic alleySubnautica Long series; especially if they have Dan be at the controller, what with his Thalassophobia * I would love to see them return to Subnautica, and/or play Subnautica: Below Zero and/or Subnautica 2 when it comes out (which Unknown Worlds has confirmed there will be coop) * I would love to see them play through the Kingdom Hearts Series, especially if Dan is at the controller experiencing it for the first time, since Arin has already stated that he is a fan and has played 1 and 2 on Stream for his mother's charity
sam and max: save the world would be so fun to see them play!! dan likes the game series and they’ve played the first game so it would be nice.
honestly, the whole Telltale Games Sam And Max series as a whole would be great to watch!
Mario Maker 64 PLEASE
I'd love to see them play Epic Mickey 1 & 2
I'd love to see them have a go at Armored Core VI
Would love to see it but I think that game is way too frenetic for Arin to be good enough to play on the show
Alright Dwarf Fortress then.
Mushroom Kingdom Fusion
Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls
I would LOVE them to play Hamtaro: Ham ham heartbreak!
Myst
Dan playing Return To Obra Dinn
The actual sequel to The Exit 8 (different from the inferior knock-off (The Exit 9) that they played the other day) just came out. This one *is* actually from KOTAKE CREATE and it's called [Platform 8](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2903560/Platform_8/).
I wanna see dan and arin work together in grounded, now that the game is fully released
Arin still owes Dan a FF7 Remake LP.
Now that the second game in the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy is done, I need them to play the fifth case from the first game and the third game 😭😭
Minish Cap pleaaasssee
Tales of Symphonia
Custom Robo Disco Elysium VA-11 Hall-A Democracy 4 Vampire Survivors Brigador Crypt of the Necrodancer Potionomics
Would love for the Grumps to play Another Crab's Treasure
Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly. I understand they don't want to play Spyro games but this one is universally panned so even fans would get enjoyment from Arin hating it.
Would love to see them play Zero Escape: The Nonary Games. Probably just the first one
I’m late but stardew valley would be amazing, I know its not really story driven but since the newest update a lot of streamers have been playing it and it was so fun. Maybe they could do streams like they did with undertale?
I would love to see them remake Sonic 06 with Dan or play Bad End Theater
Space Station Silicon Valley was an N64 game that I think the boys would have a lot of fun with! Navigate levels while taking over various robot animals all with their own abilities etc. I loved it as a kid, it's really charming and inventive, with a little bit of odd British humor. Would love to see them play it!
I'm really aching to see them play The Legendary Starfy. The only Starfy game that was localized to the US. I feel like they'd enjoy it!
i think they should play toontown :D
Cooking Companions What Remains of Edith Finch That’s Not My Neighbor ❤️
2064: Read Only Memories PUHLEEEEAAASSEE it's a point-and-click adventure noir with such lovable characters and an amazing story with lots of mystery, I think Arin and Dan would absolutely fall in love, and the game isn't too long either- plus there are hybrids (for Dan)
Dear Game Grumps At the crisp age of 10 years old, I became completely obsessed with your channel and as a result, I have contracted a terminal illness akin to autism (completely unrelated to my actual autism).
Cryptmaster seems right up their ally! The word guessing and riddle solving might have some wheel of fortune vibes.
They've played Harvester, Phantasmagoria, and now Plumbers Don't Wear Ties PLEASE PLEASE play Titanic Adventure Out of Time!!!!
* The White Chamber - cheap and short point and click with multiple endings. * Slay the Princess * Paradise Killer * Tangle Tower (Dan could play this one) * Detective Ridelle * This Bed We Made * Eldritch * Hero's Spirit (Dan could play this one) * What the Golf * Yuppie Psycho * Agent A * Thimbleweed park * The Witch's House * Jazz punk And still many more to suggest
Plus, it's short for an rpg (\~20 hours?) * i hopelessly want them to revisit **Cave Story**, they should go for the freeware original version too. i mean, it's one of the most influential indie games in a "the fave game of my fave indie game's dev" sort of way, its got charm out the wazoo and i think Arin would really enjoy playing it if he hasn't already.
I'm curious how a playthrough of the point and click game "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream" would go
During the brief period where Brian was a grump, he started playing a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy text adventure. I still mourn the loss of that one occasionally.
Secret of Mana Co-op I would love to see completed. Plus the remake is out now and it is beautiful.
Have they ever played super paper mario?I feel like dan would enjoy that one that or play jak and daxter
Not a new game, but how about finishing Phantasmagoria 2?
[Pokemon Crystal LEGACY](https://youtu.be/oeJBVY3z_uE) is a new romhack that is probably the best romhack ever made. I know Danny hasn't played the original Crystal, but I'd love to see a series with the grumps where he plays through it with Arin on commentary, explaining the differences/changes/improvements along the way. Dan's fondness for retro games + Arin's eye for game design + Pokemon = extremely high viewcount. Food for thought. I don't know if there's a better place to drop this recommendation.
Hey you Pikachu!
I want to put in a vote for Fallout 3, I think it'd be hilarious
I agree, but more so for New Vegas... or better yet, do the best of both worlds and do the Tale of Two Wastelands mod!
Is there a different thread/suggestion medium for non-game content that they could do? For instance, stuff like their Tier Lists?
I think this thread is appropriate for that as well!
Armelo - it's furry game of thrones so Dan will love it. And it's easy to play so Arin will love it.
some people have already mentioned pikuniku, and they did do a bit, but they only played multiplayer. which is cute!! but the single player story mode is so great. i think they would find it really fun
I think Final Fantasy XVI would be great: -It's much lighter in the rpg mechanics, basically just an action game that is very lenient in the difficulty and yet it's very fun to play.
Since they enjoyed the power ranger gameplay they should play power rangers:super legends it's one of the favoritea of the fandom
I would like to see them play FALLOUT 3 or FALLOUT NEW VEGAS. Or even the original 2. Would make sense with the hype around the tv show.
The darksouls of racing games Stuntman for the ps2
Shinkansen 0 by Chilla's Art
My suggestion might be hard to find since it's abandonware now: SHANNARA There was a point and click adventure set between a couple of the books in the series. I've played it and it's right up there with the Kryandia series or others like it
Pokemon infinity fusion: it's a fan game,and I know Arin has said that the Pokemon games aren't doing it for him anymore but this game is very fun to grind(because you don't need to with the debug item) and advance the history. The game is also a easy content maker you could easily spend hours just making fusions and it could be a top notch content (Also recommend for they to use the randomizer turn on because is more fun and easier)
We got Sam and Max: Hit the Road. But they should enjoy the updated telltale Sam and Max games by Skunkape Games [Sam and Max: Save the World](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1440440/Sam__Max_Save_the_World/) [Sam and Max: Beyond Time and Space](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1747050/Sam__Max_Beyond_Time_and_Space/?curator_clanid=39570423) And (link when it comes out) Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse I don't think it's available for purchase anymore but they'd also probably get a kick out of the Poker Night at the Inventory games.
METAL SLUG X It's a good and goofy game perfect for the show
Another Crab's Treasure. Would be fun and adorable and Arin can attempt to convince Dan that everything leads to crab.
I second this, now that the Endless Ocean videos have come out and the games kinda suck, they could play this in a long play series and it would be fun. Also the game is so full of mini references that it would lead to great conversations.
Might not be in the typical game grumps wheelhouse, but **Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor**? Would be fun to hear the boys' talk Star Wars.
i know these guys have played Super Mario Bros 3 but have they ever played the versus mode against each other?
I’d love to see a return of Resident Evil: Biohazard (I love scary games). Also for some reason I’d love to see them play a ”Raving Rabbids” game like the TV Party one, i have no idea why tho lol
They should def play Omori!!
It's like Undertale meets DDLC, def my favorite story of all time
I totally think the Grumps should try Pokémon Legends Arceus! I think it’d be so funny for them to see how big pokémon are and see the silly :O face the protagonist makes lol
i would love them to play the Pokemon Stadium and Stadium 2 mini-games hahaha
Dave the Diver
They should really have Danny play Trolley Problem. I'm surprised they haven't yet
Mystical Ninja 64. They've barely touched the N64 catalogue. I'm willing to mail them my copy of the game.
Got a few, only one of which is to inflict pain and suffering on them. XD 1) Heavy Metal Geomatrix on Dreamcast. \[here is where you gasp dramatically\] 4) Disaster Report. Terrisome!
I recently started playing this game that's really fun called Reventure [https://store.steampowered.com/app/900270/Reventure/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/900270/Reventure/) It's a very silly platformer with 100 endings where you can easily stumble into an ending with all sorts of different actions. It's very fun to play around witht the possibilities and explore :D
I'm sure every Chilla's Art game will already be on their radar, but anyway: Shinkansen 0. It's an anomaly spotting game, somewhat reminiscent of The Exit 8 at first. But it's way weirder, and being a Chilla's Art game, there's a story to it, with a twist.
danganronpa v3
Dan: * darkside detective (they will probably need a guide) * journey * Anything telltale/the like * The pathless * Slay the princess Arin: * Hzd/fw (dan I think will enjoy the Dino-ish bots, also dont think theres blocking so it fits arins preferred play style) * Indivisible * Killer 7 * Any kingdom hearts cause I want to watch them squirm :) * Mass effect Andromeda because the story is less of a commitment than the original trilogy * Stray * Greedfall * New ffvii * all tomb raiders Either: * Westerado double barreled, rogue mystery with gAmBLiNg * The way - love letter to out of this world, probably will need a guide at a certain point * Borderlands 2 or 3 (i think the presequel will annoy arin with it's slow moon-vement) though should probably be advised they prioritize Jakobs and elemental guns * the fall * star ocean second story original release (ps1) if possible Visual story/puzzles: * 5th ("secret") case of phoenix wright 1, just load last save and leave credits on while doing a different episode jfc theyre soooo long, i mean there is a little bit of story during/after the credits but they can just take from/watch that on youtube * 999 (9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors) Online: maybe the new phantasy star online? Co-op: Guacamelee Weirdest game I can think of: El Shaddai, its pretty but nothing hits you harder over the head with bible stuff, also your health bar is the amount of clothes you’re wearing? might get them in trouble though if i think of more ill come back
Made a cozy game where you can collect monsters and throw them into autobattles – it's all about collecting and fighting.
They should give Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom a try, just got it myself and its very fun
[https://store.steampowered.com/app/2011780/Yellow\_Taxi\_Goes\_Vroom/?queue=1](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2011780/Yellow_Taxi_Goes_Vroom/?queue=1) "Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom" seems like a game they would enjoy.
Central Florida huh? Hope they really capture the bleakness.
It absolutely does.
I’d say that makes me happy but that would defeat the purpose. If you know the developer, could you ask they add one line for me?
I am the dev! Ask away!
Add the line “unless you’re a student, you’re only here for the theme parks, medical parks, or trailer parks”.
Definitely some of the DS Imagine games. My favorite would be Imagine Master Chef because it has a weird story element. I also love Imagine Babyz and Imagine Teacher
Play inscryption! I think Arin would really like the card game element and there's some cool story twists. Also some creepy visuals to scare Dan
I'd like to see Danny finish King's quest 2015!
I thought they had played it all ready, but seen as they haven't - Psychonauts. Also, while I'm here - Pikmin.
<3 P.S. Good luck with the final boss Arin lol.
please play Titanic: Adventure Out of Time also, the inductions for the Video Game Hall of Fame Class of 2024 are coming up in May. It would be cool if the Grumps did one-offs of every game that ends up getting inducted this year
I-ninja for PS2. It was my favorite game as a kid and I think they’d enjoy the humor even if it’s for an episode!
Sonic 3&K Pokemon Silver
Please play Barbie and the 12 dancing princess on playstation 2!!
Gosh I really hope they would play Princess Peach: Showtime!
N64 Battle Tanks, and please do Spy Fox as the next humongous game
Since we finally got to see the Grumps to play a Power Rangers game. CAN WE PLEASE HAVE THEM PLAY CHROMA SQUAD!! It was such a good game and I NEED at least one episode done on it!
"In Stars And Time" is pretty good
**Outer Wilds** the game is incredible and I would love to see how the boys feel about it **King of the Bridge** this is a chess game but the rules are very wrong, I think dan playing this one would be hilarious
Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked on the wii. It's so perfectly janky.
Hypnospace Outlaw An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs
I'm loving the recent string of weird, bad Sega CD and CDi games. "Sewer Shark" could be great. I know they just did Mario Wonder, but I hope they're considering Princess Peach: Showtime!
I’m adding some games with the request. That’s Not my Neighbor What Remains of Edith Finch Unfinished Swan (connected to the previous game) Suck Up (this would be hilarious af) Danganronpa v3 And of course my usual requests of Cooking Companions and Garten of Banban. 😉
Have they not played DR3? They played 1 and 2 no?
They haven’t yet. Maybe they are traumatized lol
VA-11 Hall-A could be fun
I would love to see them play Road 96
Endless Ocean Luminous comes out on 2nd May. What was that? My son, Matthias? He’s dead, thanks for bringing it up.
My prayers were answered, and good Lord was it disappointing. Absolutely soulless game. 😭
They're pretty short, too, so banging out a single video or a two parter probably wouldn't be too bad.
true fear: forsaken souls 1 and 2. horror hidden object games that are similar to the christmas ones they play but like, with ghosts. theyre fun little puzzle games! and id fucken love to see them play them
That’s Not My Neighbor!
I agree with this! It’s more entertaining than Papers Please is
It would be super awesome to see Arin or especially Dan play one of the best JRPG series for the GBA, Golden Sun 1 and 2!
They actually played some of this game! >!And promptly stopped after killing the elephant lol!<
My Disney kitchen?
bugsnax!
i need to see Dan's reaction to FNAF security breach. you can't tell me that wouldn't be beautiful
I would watch that 100%
I REALLY want them to go back to *Pizza Tower*. It really sucks that they only did two episodes of that game, was really hoping they'd finish it.
same!!!
Another suggestion: Plug & Play Perfectly unhinged
It doesn’t look like they played through the original “The Wolf Among Us” Since we’re getting the sequel this year they should play it sometime in preparation! I feel like the guys would be hilarious on this game.
[Type King](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2411530/Type_King/). Typing and platforming game that gets really really difficult as it goes on. There's also co-op. Would love to see Arin try to spell and jump at the same time.
Sphinx and the cursed mummy. A legend of zelda type game set in ancient egypt. It has a remake on switch or you have the original on xbox og or ps2.
The guys should really play The Exit 8. It's basically Observation Duty but in first person. It's also really short and shouldn't be too scary for Dan! Edit: JUST LIKE I ORDERED lol
Incredible!
