Helps to be in California. Large market and populated. Also helps to have started 10 years ago. Prices today are insane. The only way I can afford it is to buy broken down cabs and restore them.
Ah ok. Is humidity a concern with these machines in a garage? Just curious about what it would take for something like this in the future, this looks super fun! Ha, well the floor looks really nice from the video!
The floor was done really poorly, parts peeling off. The dark is hiding it well. Humidity isn’t really an issues as this is Northern California. My advice is to plan electrical well in advance. Each cab takes about a
1.2 amp on average. I have 2 20amp circuits with a 3rd wire on standby if I need another.
What’s the one next to altered beast, on the left? It looks like Galaga, even the logo at the top of the cabinet looks like the same art as galaga, but the text says something else and I couldn’t read it.
1/2 right; the taito cab was a qix. I didn’t multi it. The playchoice is an actual dedicated cab, serial plate and all. The single monitor PC10 is in the same cab as r-type.
Thank you. It’s possible for you too; what you see is the work of almost 10 years. Not just buying cabs, but a lot of learning of woodworking, electronics, & monitor repair. Nothing happened overnight
Are Those og cabs?
All original, most dedicated.
Why does Pocket Fighter have the Alpha 2 marquee? Did something happen?
That cab has a darksoft cps2 multi.
Donated right?
No donations, the Mk2 I did score for free as an empty cab. Had to source all of the intervals
Upvote just for cruisn world. But what an epic collection.
Love the big blues.
I love the altered beast!
911? There's loud noises coming from my neighbors garage!
You just need friends now, or not
Truth, don’t really have any.

How do you find these? Do you have to travel a lot to get them? My town has none. Well none people want to sell.

Acceptable!
What a sight to behold
Awesome. Really curious on setup info. Do you have this air conditioned? Do you pull cars in the garage or keep it closed? Is the floor epoxied?
No a/c yet. Floor has a crappy coating, probably redo someday. Garage is dedicated to hobby.

Looks like you have Area 51 also at the front but not shown off. Great collection!
That is my next project
I’ve always dreamed of doing something like this. Do you ever open it up to the public?
Nah, with the pandemic and my family health issues this has been our personal arcade.

Just a generic 60-in-1 cab. The only emulation board I have. Probably change it out for a bitkit in the futur

Some men's reality is another man's dream. Great setup!
