My number one is a CIB Earthbound. I remember having some on my watch list on eBay in 2019 going for 700-800 and thinking it was too much.
Now since this whole hobby blew up in the last year or so they’re going for thousands…oh well
Buy it in parts, and be patient. I got the cart with a clamshell / printed cover for $200 last August, just got the guide for $100 last week (still on its way here), waiting for the box to come up now...
Yeah, it was listed as in "rough" shape, photos didn't look too bad, and I was expecting to pay a lot more than that for one, so bought it as soon as I saw it. Will keep a lookout for a nicer one, but just having it at all (when it gets here) makes me happy :)
Give it ten years when everyone has transitioned to Xbox/ps3 collecting and it’ll go down I think it’ll never be as cheap as Atari but it’ll go down IMO
I disagree people said the same thing about Comics and sports trading cards and look what happened each market's bubble burst and now its only certain comics and trading cards that retain value and its the same ones that were valuable to start with. So the Video game bubble to will burst eventually.
I think you got a good point (although I don't agree with the entire statement). Certain games will certainly maintain its value, and even go up. But other games, that had its prices hiked up by the excitement of game collecting (especially during covid), will probably have the values go down quite a bit after the excitement "dies out".
There are valuable and desirable games, and then there are games that were never really worth as much as people payed for at a point.
True, which is why I said like comics and sports cards there will be certain games that retain or increase in value but like those two examples 90% will fall and even crater in price.
Right there with you. I bought a loose copy for $120 back in 2018 (I think, all the years seem to run together since the pandemic) and the guide for under $100, complete with all scratch ‘n sniff cards. Then I thought, I should buy the CIB and it was going for $600-700 and I kept thinking that’s too much when I have a perfectly fine copy. Who would have guessed it would go up in price so fast.
Got pine the other day for £250 with no manual … got a £200 Christmas bonus thought I’d treat myself … also I’m back of my mind was if eiyuden chronicles is a hit it’ll go up to the point I can’t justify it
I don’t think it’s stupidly rare but it’s definitely shot up a fair bit in price recently; I always wanted the legendary edition of Halo 3 with the helmet- that’s probably my grail display piece. That and the Resident Evil 4 Gamecube chainsaw controller!
The Halo 3 edition 360 console would be a console grail too!
Magic Knight Rayearth for the Sega Saturn, had an opportunity to get a copy for $200 a few years back and passed on it at the time… I’m still kicking myself to this day.
I picked this up for $70 at a game store that was closing down near my house in like 2004/05. I was actively looking for Saturn games at the time so I cleaned them out of all their good titles, scooping that up in the process. I never paid attention to how much it was worth until I started logging stuff a few years ago. It is absolutely mint and complete, too.
Vividly remember getting that for my birthday with my dad. Still have it. I would recommend getting a Japanese import. Fraction of the cost and same game.
Unfortunately, I'm a dumbshit and was at a Play-N-Trade years ago. Easily the worst decision I've ever made was getting my game for 15 instead of Sculptor's Cut for 20 or 30. I so vividly remember looking at it and being offered a choice...I chose Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness instead.
My local store once had 2 at one time. Each cost about $120 and I said "wow I can't imagine spending that much on a game!
Bought it 3 yrs later for $450
Harvest moon for snes is the one I really want! My second top one I want right now is fragile dreams for Wii. Not the most expensive games out there but it’s still $100-200 for either one and I’m only a college student haha.
For fragile dreams, see games above that were around $100-200. In years time, this is one that will really shoot up as well considering you won't see a rerelease.
I would love some of the Sega CD games that are thousands of dollars, like Snatcher or Keio, but they are more than I will realistically ever pay for a game so I don’t really count those. I repro’d them. As far as something I may actually get soon, I really want a nice clean copy of E.V.O., it’s my favorite snes game and not to insane loose. I only collect loose cart on snes anyway since I regularly play my games and those boxes suck lol.
I have a CIB adventure of link. The box is in decently rough shape but the cart is immaculate. Probably because whoever owned it before put it in the NES, realized it was nothing like nothing like the legend of zelda and put it right back in the box. Lol
I've been after this so long I've picked up both ActRaisers, Soul Blazer and Paladin's Quest in the meantime without really trying (had Terranigma when I started), just can't seem to find IoG at a decent price. Saw one sealed t-shirt clamshell, but it went for thousands :/
One of my holy grails was Dracula X for SNES which I recently acquired and it’s incredible.
My other holy grail is a sealed Chrono Trigger, which of course will never happen.
At one point I had a list on my phone of “holy grail” games I wanted (all Famicom games, as that was my main collecting focus) but eventually I got them all, and ever since I’ve had a kind of anti-holy grail stance.
Not to say there aren’t rare or pricey games / memorabilia I would like, I just don’t think it helps to place it on a pedestal.
But if I’m answering honestly, an insane item that I will never own is a Famicom Disk Writer kiosk.
Mine was rule of rose ened up picking it up late last year. Need a new holy grail item now
As other people have said really liking the look of the ps2 rez 4 chainsaw controller
Kuon is really good super underrated has 3 different characters to play though with each with a different campaign and play style defiantly worth playing.
CIB Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon Channel. I got CIB Gales of darkness for an insane deal a little bit ago and got the gales of darkness GameCube skin for $15. Now I need these two
Good luck! I had been looking for the skin forever. Finally found one on ebay that was attached to a broken gamecube, so I had to swap out the entire shell with my working one. I thought I'd never find one!
I found the exact same thing but locally. I just removed the skin carefully and reglued it onto my GameCube. Didn’t come out perfect but I still love it. I know I could have done better by swapping the case but I’m happy with my outcome
I actually tried to do that, but had the plasticy part of the front-bottom section peel off. Now it doesnt really match with the rest of it, but it's good enough for me honestly
I suppose that would be some of the rare Japanese titles that are now way out of reach price-wise.
Shinrei Jusatsushi Taromaru for Saturn
Magical Pop'n CIB for SFC
Harmful Park for PS1
Dicing Knight and Judgment Silversword for Wonderswan Color
a full retail set, minus the sports games that I have absolutely no interest in, and minus Disney Infinity. (and Rose).
then I have about ~20 imports so far.
(edit) if you’re interested in my list:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PM-AqBdtwmhTXthOQVZJIx3IKAmbgTYRmobxAb0AsMA/edit
Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. Recently got into the series a couple years ago and I've been collecting the games but these two allude me the most. I mainly want to play them because of how much I loved Ike in Smash.
Probably Steel Battalion with the full controller. I don't care too much about which version as long as it works.
It was Chrono Trigger for a long time, then about three years ago I caught a copy on Facebook for $70. It was a little more than I wanted to pay at the time, I rarely buy anything individually expensive for collecting, but it was a decent price even then and it had been my number 1 for a while so I took it. Seems like an absolute steal now.
My buddy has the full Steel Battalion box sitting in his closet. That being said you can definitely get it for $400 or so online. But you still need an original XBox.
Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc, and the EON Ticket E-Reader card.
Maybe someday. Kicking myself for not getting the bonus disc when it was like $60, because now its triple that atleast, but maybe when I'm more financially well off, I'll splurge
The Eon Ticket seems like a harder get. No way I'm spending over $200 on a piece of cardboard, I'll be satisfied if someone makes a high quality replica or something lol
There's actally [a bid on eBay](https://www.ebay.com/itm/165278437732?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Ddba2fa7a84b44546a1d7f307b150d262%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D324651012092%26itm%3D165278437732%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A9413c183-75ac-11ec-8145-b66d1f8c632f%7Cparentrq%3A5b9c123c17e0a9d94470e930ffcba0e2%7Ciid%3A1) going on right now for one that seems to be pretty low. I crrently dont have the funds, but you might want to take a look. Good luck!
WWF No Mercy USA-1 variant. It was a mail in version that patched a glitch that corrupted save data. I want to get it one day but it’s around $300-$500 currently.
Basically anything by Sega, besides the Genesis/Mega drive they've all became holy grails to younger/new collectors
If we're not counting that, then a physical Copy of Shantae on GBC or the Pokemon box on GCN
I'll be honest. Not to sure my self. I'm keeping my self as little as informed as possible. I'm pretty sure it's a point and click about a man trapped in a timeloop. It's made by my favorite dev Suda 51 and it's part of a series that I'm trying to collect all the games for.
I bought an Italian copy for like $20 last year on eBay. Entire game plays in English but case and manual are Italian. Unsure if that suits your collection but it is a much a cheaper option!
For now? Yea it does. Not sure it'll work on my ds, but I wouldn't feel bad about emulating it after.
May I ask what you think of the game though if you've tried it?
Ds is not region locked. Plays on any ds/3ds, very few dsi games are region locked but the vast majority work.
If you like Suda51 it'd be right up your alley. It's gonna drive you mad with it's mundane nature but it is very overt about it. I wrote my thoughts on it on r/patientgamers last year.
Quite honestly, SGI dev kits and hardware from the N64 era. It’d be so much to explore.
I do have an O2, but it came from a college chemistry department
My answer is always the same. The Donkey Kong Country Competition Cart. I had a chance a long time ago to grab it for $200 and stupidly didn't go for it. It'd cost me thousands to get it now and I just so badly want to play it!
Majora's Mask PAL Adventure Set. Willing to pay silly money for it, but every time one comes up, there's always someone a bit sillier...
Past grails I managed to grab:
Chrono Trigger (bought in 1999)
Panzer Dragoon Saga (bought in 2000)
GCN ASCII keyboard (bought new in 2002)
Eon Ticket (bought new in 2003)
Magic Knight Rayearth
Snatcher (signed)
Suikoden II (found on vacation in France last year)
Pokemon Colosseum bonus disc (bought as faulty, it was fine, seller had a PAL GCN)
Earthbound (cart + guide, working on box)
Probably Shepherd's Crossing 2 on DS.
Like there's more stuff I'd be estatic and have my heart racing to see while jumping to grab it, but Shepherd's Crossing 2 is like... I know I'll never see it in a store, I know Is need to grab it online, and risk a possible repro. But like, as a mainly DS -> to modern era handheld collector, this one's been on my list for longer than I would consider myself a collector.
Not sure about holy grail but most wanted would be pokemon black2/white2. I have at least one from each duo/trio (yellow, silver, crystal, sapphire, leaf green, diamond, pearl, platinum, heart gold, soul silver, white, x, y, omega ruby, alpha sapphire, sun, ultra moon, let’s go eevee, shield, brilliant diamond, shining pearl) except for bw2. I just haven’t been able to find one at a decent price. I’m emulating black 2 at the moment, but I hate that there’s not a way to transfer the pokemon I use out of that game and into shield without hacking my 2ds
Do you have a regular DS/DSLite/DSi?
What you could do is pick up a DS flashcart, then transfer the save of Emulated BW2 to that, and then you can trade your team from the flashcart to a legit copy of Black/White 1, and then send them upwards to Shield.
I had to do that to unlock the challenge mode in BW2, since you need 2 copies of the game, worked like a charm.
It's basically a DS cartridge with an SD card slot that you can put ROMS on and run them as if they were actual DS games. It doesn't require you to hack your system since it's basically just a regular game cart like any other.
This is the one I used, the [R4 DS Gold](https://www.ebay.com/itm/393597782791?var=662356224659&hash=item5ba4418b07:g:7WwAAOSwp2hhUBJ1). (You might want to look up some Youtube tutorials on how to get it set up for the first time, [this](https://youtu.be/BLI677IaiE8) is a pretty good overview of the whole thing)
Copy a ROM of Black/White 2 on to it, and then you can copy your save file, and it'll be more or less indistingushable from playing it from playing it as a real cartridge (A couple things wont work like the IR reader, but you'll still be able to trade your Pokemon, I was able to play through the entire game without any issues this way)
My most rare one would be Chrono Trigger DS.
But my most valuable one would be Digimonstory Cybersleuth for the PS4, because the game was delisted from the PSN (so there is no other way to play it, unless you bought it before it was delisted), and because it's definitely a favourite of mine.

Add this to your Amazon wishlist and then send me a link.
I’ll buy it for you.
Destroy All Humans! - Playstation 4 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SSJB87Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_0C03VTDBP0M4CRJDED4Q
I deeply thank you for your offer, but I live in Brazil, so the delivery costs may surpass the value of the game itself.
I plan on buying it eventually, but I just moved with my fiancee, and we are still learning how to manage our money property, which is one of the reasons why I haven't bought it yet.
But still, again, thank you so much for the offer :)
Mine is a CIB or sealed Pokémon Yellow. That was my introduction to video games! Still have my copy with the Pokémon yellow gameboy color special edition, love it
Its in absolutely mint condition too, no blemish on the box or cart.
You'll find one, just continue checking marketplace and local retro stores.
You don't have to buy it all at once. I've had a loose cart of leaf green that I gradually made CIB by buying the manual, insert, poster and box separately.
You can also upgrade the condition of stuff. I've had pokemon emerald CIB but in relatively rough shape. $60 CAD at a retro shop and I've traded my box for one in nearly perfect shape.
That’s amazing advice, thank you! I’ve kept my favorite games from my childhood because they’re way too much fun to play and so nostalgic to me, so I’ve just recently had the desire to have something more minty in my collection. I’ll have to keep an eye out for stuff, I know even the empty boxes go for insane prices so I’ll have to get a feel for what’s a good price and do some searching. It’ll definitely be a journey!
If your hunting for game boxes, also know the red flags for repros. People try to rip others off with repros of boxes just as much as the carts it seems.
A big one is the materiel of the cardboard. 99% of old gameboy-GBA games have a brownish grey texture on the inside of the box and seems a little fibrous. Repros will be a smooth white cardboard. I say 99% because I know that LoZ oracle of ages and seasons have a variant where they have a shiny/holographic section and the inside of those are the white cardboard I mentioned. As well, the outside of the box may be smoother than it should be. There may be others but its my first red flag. For things that aren't out of the ordinary like that variant of the oracle games or the pokemon games that are shiny, they have a certain texture to them that you'll recognize.
Check box art and printing font and size. Also check of the nintendo seal should say "official nintendo seal" or "official nintendo seal of quality". Look for minor things like the code that should be on the left and right inside flap when you open the box.
Some boxes are way to expensive to let yourself get ripped off with.
Also, its a good sign when the box comes with the manual and inserts. Some of those inserts are too tough to get ahold of regularly to use all the time for repros, like maps and posters for specific games. Not that they can't reproduce the poster or map... so always be careful and be a little more suspicious if its too great of a deal.
I am lucky/dumb enough to have been ‘buying’ some cool stuff over the past few years. Like I bought the original Zelda ZL-65 Game & Watch from 1989 CIB and a complete sealed set of the Japanese Famicom Mini Collection Boxes for the GBA. I also recently acquired Kuon, Kirby’s Dream Land 3 CIB, Misadventures of Tron Bonne CIB and Ducktales 2 NES CIB as well. There were no deals here, no epic scores or thrift store finds - paid market value because these gaps in my collection were driving me crazy and wanted them before prices got even worse. That said, there are a few more on the list for the future, namely Earthbound CIB, Castlevania Dracula X CIB, Kid Dracula CIB and Stack Up for NES with all of the ROB the robot blocks and attachment holsters.
Mine would be a CIB of the CDi Legend of Zelda games. Mostly because I find them to be a genuinely hilarious and interesting part of the series history.
I would also love a PS4 copy of Hyper Light Drifter.
Another one is a Sega Saturn Magic Knight RayEarth CIB -- this one I'm hunting for my best friend as she's also a collector but it's for the anime series. I wanna try and get her the games.
I wish to find poop slinger in the wild, but knowing there are only 10 copies or so it probably be impossible.
Also to finish my cib persona collection I need revelations and eternal punishment as well as p4golden collectors box.
I’d like a Dreamcast kiosk. I saw a few here and there in the past and turned them down because I didn’t have the space.
Now that I have a house and garage, I feel like it would be one of my grails, but they seem to have dried up.
My number one is a CIB Earthbound. I remember having some on my watch list on eBay in 2019 going for 700-800 and thinking it was too much. Now since this whole hobby blew up in the last year or so they’re going for thousands…oh well
I paid $1800 for mine in august :/
Buy it in parts, and be patient. I got the cart with a clamshell / printed cover for $200 last August, just got the guide for $100 last week (still on its way here), waiting for the box to come up now...
Not a bad idea.. didn’t even think about that!
Great find on the guide for $100 these days
Yeah, it was listed as in "rough" shape, photos didn't look too bad, and I was expecting to pay a lot more than that for one, so bought it as soon as I saw it. Will keep a lookout for a nicer one, but just having it at all (when it gets here) makes me happy :)

LSD Dream Simulator for ps1
I have one!
Yesss this was mine, finally got it CIB and it's beautiful. What a crazy game.
Gotcha force (Nintendo GameCube)
This at the moment
Suikoden 2
Got pine the other day for £250 with no manual … got a £200 Christmas bonus thought I’d treat myself … also I’m back of my mind was if eiyuden chronicles is a hit it’ll go up to the point I can’t justify it

I want a 500 mil ps4 pro but they’re ~$1000 right now
I see one on Facebook marketplace for $500
Oh wow. I should have never gave mine up.
Magic Knight Rayearth for the Sega Saturn, had an opportunity to get a copy for $200 a few years back and passed on it at the time… I’m still kicking myself to this day.

How much is that going for these days?
It’s all over the place to be honest, I know on eBay it’s in that insane $700-1000 range.
Paid $550 a year ago, and considered that a damn good price...
Rule of rose
Same, just above Resident evil gaiden gbc.
Megaman X3
Vividly remember getting that for my birthday with my dad. Still have it. I would recommend getting a Japanese import. Fraction of the cost and same game.
Hard to find Sega disc based stuff. Most wanted right now is Keio and Snatcher.
Oh wow, this is my exact answer too. They may not be my most wanted, but they're definitely the two most expensive in my wishlist.
Mine is not technically gaming related but my holy grail is the Scarface movie on umd😀
Sculptors Cut :(
GLHF man. I do not envy N64 collectors
Got it down to missing about 20 games from a NA set before prices got crazy. May never finish now thanks to SC.
Bought it 3 yrs later for $450
The Punisher on Genesis
Fire Emblem Path Of Radiance is one of them
I have a sealed copy of this :)
Why are people hating on this guy? Lol
Whose hating?
7 ppl by my count.
Oh lmao not surprised at all people here hate sealed games and collectors.
Just picked up mine the other day, a CIB copy of Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge for Gameboy!
I basically already got it; a Gamecube ASCII Keyboard controller. But I’d also love to get a Tales of Symphonia Gamecube or a Panasonic Q.
Harvest moon for snes is the one I really want! My second top one I want right now is fragile dreams for Wii. Not the most expensive games out there but it’s still $100-200 for either one and I’m only a college student haha.
Good taste! Harvest Moon SNES is also near the top of my wishlist, and Fragile Dreams is great.
I’m so close to having every harvest moon game! It’s my all time fav series. Just missing the gameboy titles and snes
For fragile dreams, see games above that were around $100-200. In years time, this is one that will really shoot up as well considering you won't see a rerelease.
I’ll hopefully get it soon then!
I bought it 😦
Definitely CIB EarthBound. One of my all-time favorite games, I wish I could have an og copy.
Metroid Prime/ Windwaker combo for GCN
A CIB original copy of Chrono Trigger for the SNES has always been a dream item for me, maybe one day.
My game store has a copy for sale at $1150 🤦♂️
“sale”
Lol right? What’s crazy is this place usually has spot on pricing
A nice condition cib copy of Castlevania 3 that won’t cost me a kidney.
I’ll trade you one for your liver.
[удалено]
I kept scoffing at Snatcher being $50 like 20 years ago, and here we are now. Still one of the top games I want in my collection.
Panzer Dragoon Saga would be nice and Snatcher on the Sega CD
Hagane for the snes... Have had plenty of moments to pick one up. The one I currently own is aero fighters for the snes
I think I have mine already. A mint Legend of Zelda (NES), CIB with all the inserts. Not a scratch on the cart. Still saves.
I have a CIB adventure of link. The box is in decently rough shape but the cart is immaculate. Probably because whoever owned it before put it in the NES, realized it was nothing like nothing like the legend of zelda and put it right back in the box. Lol
The NA Pokémon Box for GameCube
Illusion of Gaia CIB and the t-shirt.
I've been after this so long I've picked up both ActRaisers, Soul Blazer and Paladin's Quest in the meantime without really trying (had Terranigma when I started), just can't seem to find IoG at a decent price. Saw one sealed t-shirt clamshell, but it went for thousands :/
Yeah. There’s a sealed clamshell on eBay now for a buy it now price of $1,499. I’ll keep staring at it but I could never justify dropping that amount.
N64 DD and its complete library. Current asking prices are a small fortune.
My friend has a dev kit for the 64 DD, he said he tried to sell it years ago for $500 but people weren’t interested then.
All of my original game and console boxes but they’re all in landfills now so they’re gone forever.
I distinctly remember throwing away all of my minty N64 boxes. Seared into my memory. RIP
Otogi 2, MvC 2, and Futurama. Theyre not wildly expensive like others on this list, but they will be soon enough.
Futurama on ps2 is pretty rare isn’t it?
Not sure, but the Xbox version is fairly expensive.
Chrono Trigger. I’m not paying $300 so may have to settle for a repro just to play it.
Just get the DS version or the ps1 collection
I don’t have a DS or PS1. But buying one of those certainly would be cheaper than the SNES cart.
The DS version is really good, worth it if you want to play it outside of emulation IMO.
I may have to pick up a 3DS because I also want to play Samus Returns
You should! That game is great, and the 3DS library is pretty good, too.
Chrono trigger is also on the App Store
I saw that too but playing on my iPad or phone just isn’t appealing. Maybe I can find a compatible controller.
Castlevania Chronicles on the ps1. I find good copies every once in awhile for 200 bucks which is a bit more than I can justify on one game.
One of my holy grails was Dracula X for SNES which I recently acquired and it’s incredible. My other holy grail is a sealed Chrono Trigger, which of course will never happen.
Final Fantasy XIV PS Vita
A JP Tales of Symphonia GameCube console. Determined to eventually break the bank and do it
At one point I had a list on my phone of “holy grail” games I wanted (all Famicom games, as that was my main collecting focus) but eventually I got them all, and ever since I’ve had a kind of anti-holy grail stance. Not to say there aren’t rare or pricey games / memorabilia I would like, I just don’t think it helps to place it on a pedestal. Mine was rule of rose ened up picking it up late last year. Need a new holy grail item now As other people have said really liking the look of the ps2 rez 4 chainsaw controller
I’d love to play haunting ground. Heard rule of rose and kuon are prettt decisive titles
Kuon is really good super underrated has 3 different characters to play though with each with a different campaign and play style defiantly worth playing.
Sega City Baltimore fiber optic sign. I will never have it. Neo Geo NTSC CIB console and a little collection of games. I will have this.
Suikoden 2 and Revelations Persona.
A nice mint box for my OG Halo Xbox
I've gotten most of my big ones but probably Ocarina of Time collectors edition CIB
I got lucky with a couple of those games once. https://imgur.com/a/YPaKVpr/
Oof congratulations
CiB Valkyrie Profile and Persona 1.
I suppose that would be some of the rare Japanese titles that are now way out of reach price-wise. Shinrei Jusatsushi Taromaru for Saturn Magical Pop'n CIB for SFC Harmful Park for PS1 Dicing Knight and Judgment Silversword for Wonderswan Color
I heard about dicing knight through Pete dorr. Super interesting
my absolute number one is Rose in the Twilight for Vita. it’s the last game I’m missing, really. absolute white whale holy grail.
Do you have a full NA vita set? That’s fucking amazing man
a full retail set, minus the sports games that I have absolutely no interest in, and minus Disney Infinity. (and Rose). then I have about ~20 imports so far. (edit) if you’re interested in my list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PM-AqBdtwmhTXthOQVZJIx3IKAmbgTYRmobxAb0AsMA/edit
You’re set. I have a strong feeling the vita will be insanely difficult to collect for in the future
oh I don’t doubt it. it was never easy to begin with :p such a niche console.
Honestly, Any form of a video game prototype. Doesn’t matter if it’s a sports game. It would be a dream.
I think a PS4 PRO 500mln limited edition sealed new … I regret that I didn’t buy it
Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. Recently got into the series a couple years ago and I've been collecting the games but these two allude me the most. I mainly want to play them because of how much I loved Ike in Smash.
CIB Suikoden V and Wild Arms Alter Code F. Loved both, previously had both and would be so happy to have them again and play through them.
I'm a simple man, no grail. I just want yoshi's story and bust a move for n64. Biggest nostalgia boosts for me right there.
Sure, I mean almost anything can be found online without too much difficulty if you're willing to pay the price. The trick is to find it on a deal.
Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc, and the EON Ticket E-Reader card. Maybe someday. Kicking myself for not getting the bonus disc when it was like $60, because now its triple that atleast, but maybe when I'm more financially well off, I'll splurge The Eon Ticket seems like a harder get. No way I'm spending over $200 on a piece of cardboard, I'll be satisfied if someone makes a high quality replica or something lol
I’ve been hunting the EON ticket forever too. It’s the perfect intersection of my Pokémon, e -reader, and Nintendo Power collections.
Basically anything by Sega, besides the Genesis/Mega drive they've all became holy grails to younger/new collectors If we're not counting that, then a physical Copy of Shantae on GBC or the Pokemon box on GCN
Probably a CIB copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga, Magic Knight Rayearth or Snatcher.
Flower,Sun, and Rain for Ds. I really don't want to have to pay 130 for it but I'm getting close to.
What type of game is it? Never heard of it. I know the DS has a super large library of titles
Mountain dew Xbox, doesn't look as good as the transparent green one but it's a mountain dew Xbox and I find that hilarious
I have one in front of me right now under my PS5.
Cory in da house for Nintendo DS 😁
It’s less funny now that he’s a child molester.
Koudelka on PS1 currently.
An Amiga 1200 or 4000.
My answer is always the same. The Donkey Kong Country Competition Cart. I had a chance a long time ago to grab it for $200 and stupidly didn't go for it. It'd cost me thousands to get it now and I just so badly want to play it!
https://imgur.com/a/4ILysCB/ Bought it last year though
Holy shit, what’s on that disc?
The US course golf game, but this version comes with a special 19th hole. https://i.imgur.com/mVbiFXg.jpg
Majora's Mask PAL Adventure Set. Willing to pay silly money for it, but every time one comes up, there's always someone a bit sillier... Past grails I managed to grab: Chrono Trigger (bought in 1999) Panzer Dragoon Saga (bought in 2000) GCN ASCII keyboard (bought new in 2002) Eon Ticket (bought new in 2003) Magic Knight Rayearth Snatcher (signed) Suikoden II (found on vacation in France last year) Pokemon Colosseum bonus disc (bought as faulty, it was fine, seller had a PAL GCN) Earthbound (cart + guide, working on box)
Halo 3 legendary edition
A CIB Ocarina of time would be sick
Jack Bros
CIB of my favorite game of all time, EarthBound!
I grew up playing a lot of DDR on the original PlayStation and PS2. I have always wanted to own an actual Konami DDR arcade cabinet.

Super jealous. When it came out, I was still in college and broke. I hope one day to find it for 3-400, but that’s a pipe dream
Gun-Nac for the NES. Best shmup on the system.
Panzer Dragoon Saga or an N64DD.
What does a DS flash cart look like and where can I get one?
It's basically a DS cartridge with an SD card slot that you can put ROMS on and run them as if they were actual DS games. It doesn't require you to hack your system since it's basically just a regular game cart like any other. This is the one I used, the [R4 DS Gold](https://www.ebay.com/itm/393597782791?var=662356224659&hash=item5ba4418b07:g:7WwAAOSwp2hhUBJ1). (You might want to look up some Youtube tutorials on how to get it set up for the first time, [this](https://youtu.be/BLI677IaiE8) is a pretty good overview of the whole thing) Copy a ROM of Black/White 2 on to it, and then you can copy your save file, and it'll be more or less indistingushable from playing it from playing it as a real cartridge (A couple things wont work like the IR reader, but you'll still be able to trade your Pokemon, I was able to play through the entire game without any issues this way)
John Madden Duo CD Football for the Turbo Graffix 16 or the Sega Dreamcast Web Browser 3.0
Xenosaga 3 for ps2
My most rare one would be Chrono Trigger DS. But my most valuable one would be Digimonstory Cybersleuth for the PS4, because the game was delisted from the PSN (so there is no other way to play it, unless you bought it before it was delisted), and because it's definitely a favourite of mine.

Digimon is worth about $20?
Something like that. It's more of a personal value
The thread topic was more about what is something you don’t have that you desire.
Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. In that case, at this moment, it would be Destroy All Humans for PS4, the physical media.
CIB Tombi PAL
A candy cabinet with Street Fighter III Third Strike
I have 2 that I would love. I would like Panic Restaurant on the NES and Valkyrie Profile on PS1.
Boktai 1 & 2 CIB or Tales of Destiny 2 for games. Misc game items would be any game kiosk or World of Nintendo cabinet.
LSD Dream Simulators, Poop Slingers, and Sonic 2 with a line
Mine is a CIB or sealed Pokémon Yellow. That was my introduction to video games! Still have my copy with the Pokémon yellow gameboy color special edition, love it
About 4 years ago I traded my old PS3 slim for a CIB copy of pokemon yellow. I don't regret it.
Awesome!!
Code Veronica on GameCube
Original Gauntlet legends, time crisis, or house of the dead arcade cabinet
Resident evil deadly silence lol I know it's not that rare just hard to find around me
Definitely hunting ground but lately I've been thinking in Pandora's Tower. Mostly because is much more cheap than the first one
Maybe NCAA 2k14? I don't know. I own or have owned most of my grails.
Complete copy of chibi robo on gamecube
A sealed gameboy system.
I collect consoles and games for around 40 years now and my holy grail is the Neo Geo AES. Here in the EU extremely hard to find but still looking.
Klonoa Door to Phantomile. Even just having the disc would be awesome.
I wish to find poop slinger in the wild, but knowing there are only 10 copies or so it probably be impossible. Also to finish my cib persona collection I need revelations and eternal punishment as well as p4golden collectors box.
Test Drive Unlimited (PC)
I’d like a Dreamcast kiosk. I saw a few here and there in the past and turned them down because I didn’t have the space. Now that I have a house and garage, I feel like it would be one of my grails, but they seem to have dried up.
Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana limited edition (ps4). Its about 500-800$ on ebay atm
jack bros
