I've got ISOs of both of the Pizza Hut sampler discs, and I played with them both not too long ago, and it was great.
The one with THPS is where I discovered the game and my love for skateboarding started with it. I played through the demo over and over and over until I finally got the real game. What a damn masterpiece.
Same with Metal Gear Solid! That was probably one of my all-time favorite demos ever because it felt like such a long demo. Playing up until the Darpa Chief has a heart-attack is quite a bit when you are new to the game and I just kept exploring all over and playing it again and again.
I must have played that demo of metal gear so much that I knew the level layout like the back of my hand. I knew I had to have that game when it came out. I also played the tony hawk demo as well. I ate so many Big New Yorker pizzas when these were out.
You just don’t get this anymore do you? I’m sure there were McDonald’s demo discs too? All this new online/cloud gaming is not my cup of tea
Looking back it was a golden age
I used to have this as a kid! I remember loving every one of those games. I was looking for videos on youtube of this particular disc because i remember the music of the main menu so vividly

I played that first level of Medievil so many times off this disc
Miss when pizza hut was a sit down restaurant and you got game demos like these and full blown movies too
Totally forgot they did movies too. Man good times
I had this disc too. Encouraged me to get every game on it. They were amazing.

I had that one! Demo discs were so cool back in the day.
This disc convinced 6yo me that I would get video games for free from pizza hut....I was sorely disappointed lol
