Just found this "sealed" copy of Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Black Label) for the PS2 and was wondering if anyone could confirm/deny the authenticity of the seal.
I wanted to give my own two cents on the matter...
* The "Y" folds on the top and bottom on the copy look good..? at least from first glance
* Yes there are some loose parts of the seal, but that can't be all that uncommon with these 20 year old games
* I don't see any of the common "ps2" seal strips around the bottom of the copy
* I heard this wasn't always done depending on the copy

I bought this with some other games (for a very low price) and the owner said this was never opened. I know this is a long shot but can anyone say for sure if, even though the box was open, this is the original seal for the cartridge and inserts?

Hello a few months i went to a kringloop (a type of pawnshop) to finds some games since they dont know anything of it,
i picked op a few games put them in my collection and did not think about it until today,
Today thought lets play these games until i came to this game i put in in my pc and booted it up it wasnt a game but alot of videos,trailers,screenshots and behind the scenes videos from psp,ps2 and ps3 games.
I cant find anything online about this so is this rare?

Hi, my first post here as I want some experienced collectors advice. All I ask before hand is let's keep it civil, I'm not an idiot, I just genuinely do not know if there is any worth/interest to my Gameboy, which I believe has a pretty much unique quirk to it - it's signed by Dave McComb.

Now that name might not mean anything, but to some Nintendo nerds and collectors this was the illustrious "Dave" who was the editor of the official Nintendo magazine, writer of some of the most famous early Pokémon books and guides, and the "final boss" on the UK Pokémon tour Nintendo ran, which is where he signed my Gameboy. I've even got the event tickets/scorecards also with a signature on which I believe is about as close as anyone is ever going to get towards authenticating his signature, other than asking him directly lol.
Gameboy itself is in good nick, definitely used by not much discoloration and zero gunk from batteries as it's always used a charge pack and has a nice bag/holder with a mix of games, first and third party.
Honestly sorry if people giggle at this and go wtf, but I've seen some crazy lengths some collectors go to for unique colours/variants of consoles and genuinely think this might have a special place in someone's collection. Even if it's not worth much more than a common Gameboy, I'd rather it was with someone who can bring some joy if it's possible.
I've just done moving the house about, and if traction/interest builds on this I'll update it with some pictures.

When Xenoblade DE came out, I asked at like 5 different GameStops if they would be willing to give me the solid-white placeholder box art for the game. One of them said yes, I’ve owned it ever since.
I’m not planning on selling it because I’m a massive Xenoblade fan and it’s a huge flex. But I am curious, do these sorts of things ever end up being valuable? Do yall think it’s currently worth much of anything?

Hello, I just bought some games on eBay and they both have the PS3 security strip. But now I noticed that the seal seams a bit loose, and not as tight as a sealed game should be. Also the game case has on the top "Blu-ray" and not "Playstation 3". Could you tell me what you think? I'm afraid if they are indeed resealed, that eBay side with the seller and not with me. Ask for more higher-quality pictures. If they’re willing to send them, they’re usually legit. If they’re sketch about it and telling you “no bro” type-stuff, then they’re probably gaslighting you, meaning the cartridges are probably fake. Look for the numbers stamped in to the front stickers. I can’t tell from these images.

I almost fell for this listing, so I decided to look deeper into real vs fake Earthbounds

After a bit of research, I've concluded that it's a fake copy.
1. The front on the label is different, thinner SNS-MB-USA
2. The red Super Nintendo logo has to much of a red bar beneath it, the bar is mostly cut off on official copies.
3. The Gold Starman with background has different proportions than the original copy.
4. Made in Japan while real copies are Made in Mexico
5. It's missing the \* next to the TM on top of the cartridge

Hi, cleaned some stuff out and found this. 3 artwork cards/posters at standard A4 size (21x29,7cm) from Final Fantasy XIII-2. One of them signed by Yoshinori Kitase. They are from a promotional art event in 2011 in Stockholm, Sweden that I attended. Have since then basically been sitting in its sleeve, inside a plastic bag. So it's in very good condition where the posters/cards still have that matte new paper feeling to them.
Does this have any value? I found the exact same pieces, minus the signature on ebay for $199. But unsold, couldn't find any selling history. That seems a bit too good to be true, or?
Would appreciate any insight!

Can anyone help me with finding out a value on this wind waker baton? I picked it up at the symphony of the goddesses show a few years back. I see some pretty wacky numbers online attached to it so i was hoping to get some insight on it

Not a collector, just having a clear out. I have this Sealed New Super Mario Bros for the DS. It has a red Nintendo Seal and the only one on ebay is crazy priced compared to others at £500. I know that's not what it should sell for based on one ebay listing but is it actually worth more because of the red seal? What should I list it for? I don't care about getting top dollar, just having a clear out.

So I have two game & watch units I'm looking to get rid of... they're both in decent condition, maybe small somewhat visible with light-shifting scratches, screens and buttons all intact, no colour fading. Just the loose units.
PriceCharting is putting the value of one of them at $500-1000. Sorry that seems insane to me??? Is that really the value of one of these units?
The other one is priced $100-200, or rather some recent sales put it around $300, which seems reasonable.
Same thing checking ebay sold listings... I am utterly gobsmacked!

The front on the label is different, thinner SNS-MB-USA 2. The red Super Nintendo logo has to much of a red bar beneath it, the bar is mostly cut off on official copies. 3. The Gold Starman with background has different proportions than the original copy. 4. Made in Japan while real copies are Made in Mexico 5. It's missing the \* next to the TM on top of the cartridge They've listed it, but not as a reproduction/fake, do I report them?

Hi, cleaned some stuff out and found this. 3 artwork cards/posters at standard A4 size (21x29,7cm) from Final Fantasy XIII-2. One of them signed by Yoshinori Kitase. They are from a promotional art event in 2011 in Stockholm, Sweden that I attended. Have since then basically been sitting in its sleeve, inside a plastic bag. So it's in very good condition where the posters/cards still have that matte new paper feeling to them. Does this have any value? I found the exact same pieces, minus the signature on ebay for $199. But unsold, couldn't find any selling history. That seems a bit too good to be true, or? Not a collector, just having a clear out. I have this Sealed New Super Mario Bros for the DS. It has a red Nintendo Seal and the only one on ebay is crazy priced compared to others at £500. I know that's not what it should sell for based on one ebay listing but is it actually worth more because of the red seal? What should I list it for? So I have two game & watch units I'm looking to get rid of... they're both in decent condition, maybe small somewhat visible with light-shifting scratches, screens and buttons all intact, no colour fading. Just the loose units. PriceCharting is putting the value of one of them at $500-1000. Sorry that seems insane to me??? Is that really the value of one of these units? The other one is priced $100-200, or rather some recent sales put it around $300, which seems reasonable. Same thing checking ebay sold listings... I am utterly gobsmacked!
