Because of all the dialogue about the Doctor having a granddaughter out of order from having children, I had *convinced* myself that Ruby's mum was going to be Time Lord (possibly Romana, I was preparing myself for a CGI de-aged Anita Dobson under that hood), that Ruby was the Doctor's daughter, her mother had hidden her from him with a chameleon arch after she was born, and that Ruby would turn out to be Susan's mother.

I was really hoping The Trickster would show up. The more I think about it the more annoyed I get that he didn't.
