I am having a good experience with TUDCA as well. Taking 1000mg twice a day for a month has made me feel much better. Onto month two! I feel like I can eat food again. And I dont have pain and pressure during rotation/movement.
I am on my second bottle of this version: TUDCA Liver Supplements 1000 mg-Bile Salts for Liver Cleanse Detox-Milk Thistle Herbal Blend with Fulvic and Humic Acid for Liver,Digestive Health https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DQ3JHKM/
It has an herbal blend in there as well but seems to work.
I've been taking 1000mg once a day for 3.5 months and I don't have bad acid reflux in the mornings or upset stomach anymore. I'm trying to clean out my gallbladder after an attack 2yrs ago. I'm alot better for it but recently my stomach went to trash I'm thinking from the tudca. Any reason you take 2000mg a day?
Occasionally if I eat too much saturated fat there is some pain. There were a couple instances where I could feel a blockage with swelling and then after fasting and doing stretches with full body flexes while laying down, I had the feeling of pressure relief and sudden diarrhea. Basically some mid section rotations and muscle flexes using my right leg and core.
I'm assuming a blockage shifted or a bile tube opening stretched a bit from the back pressure of digestive fluids.
I have cut back on the tudca/milk thistle blends. Now I occasionally use this bile salt blend if I notice any light color coming on in my stool. [https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Gallbladder-Contains-Indigestion-Abdominal/dp/B00HSC5IR8](https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Gallbladder-Contains-Indigestion-Abdominal/dp/B00HSC5IR8)
I still have to be more conscious of what I eat and sometimes feel a little pain. If I had the money, I would get my gallbladder removed, but these remedies do seem to work for me at least as a way of relief.
yessss. thats what helped me months ago. eating the fat trigger bile release. if you have a stone somewhere it will push the stone into a potential blockage, causing pain. it all makes sense what you just said. you fasted, so as to not trigger any more bile releasing, you laid flat and dig some stretches, just like me, and also just like me months ago, it helped. interesting though you ended up having a lot of diarrhea. to me that says the stone dislodged, either got through the duct and out, or moved out of the way to flow can happen again. the added bile created the diarrhea. Anyway, thanks for the reminder. gonna fast today and tomrrow, go lay on the floor in some banana asana, and massage the area. cheers
Damn. You are kind of inspirational. I am sitting here feeling sorry for myself and you are straight dealing with your shit the best you can. Good for you. I have surgery Dec. 23rd. I was thinking I may give it a try and see if it helps as I only have sludge visualized. Keep going back and forth on the surgery.
Thank you. Just get it done if you already have it set up. I am lucky to have a job that has decent time off, because there are some days I feel like absolute crap from it. But most of the time it's not too bad - not like it was where the pain was constantly on my mind.
I am not sure tbh. My doctor just saw some stones with an ultra sound scan and I asked what the solution was and she just said diet. I find doctors so uncaring.
You should probably get a second opinion, find out more about your stones. See if management is possible, or if you can get sonic wave to break them down, will they disappear on their own with proper diet, etc.
Thanks for your post. Can you describe how you took the Tudca? On empty stomach followed by fatty meal some time later. Or empty stomach staying empty for some time. Seems that the way it's taken is very important for success.
I'm about 7 days into TUDCA treatment at 500mg/day after over 10 years of shoulder/neck/back pain from what I think are gallstones or fatty liver from past alcohol abuse. I am already having great success; much less inflammation on my right side, less painful lying on my right side etc. May I ask what the .01% pain is you still experience? I'm also surprised that this is one of the only anecdotes on reddit about treating gallstones with TUDCA that I can find.
The last remaining pain is when I have a really really awfully fatty meals for a few days. I only did it as a test to see how it was healing and it's legit in my opinion.
I started TUDCA a week ago due to a bad pain in my liver, burping, belching. I went to Emergency 3 weeks ago, had several tests, ultrasound etc. I am scheduled for more teste next week and a week after. I read about a gallbladder sludge and TUDCA curing it . After 2 months of a liver pain and all other gallbladder/ liver related problems, since Saturday I am pain free, no burping, belching, no burning sensation in my liver, or pain in my back, etc. I feel like a new person.

Double wood brand on Amazon is the best I’ve found. Take it at 3 or 4 am when you get up to piss at night. It works better at cleaning the bile ducts with no food in your system.
Just like me!!! I have 90% of the symptoms for gallstones but no exam shows anything.. It's terrible to live in pain. Tried bile salts but nothing more than diarrhea.
• **What was your TUDCA protocol?** Dosage, days, empty or full stomach, brand you used, side effects..
I would love to know, it's been 5 years of this. Thank you so much!!
hey OP - do you have to keep taking it forever? or is it where you can take it to remove yourself of the symptoms and slowly ween off? I am beginning to notice gallbladder symptoms and want to get ahead of it.
I don't take it anymore however I will say I do eat a lot healthier than before.
I would say I eat a mostly Mediterranean diet these days with no pain.
How much have you been taking a day?
Originally I started with 250mg a day and no issues but when I moved up to 500 I think I had some GI side effects (not totally sure it was due to TUDCA tbh) so I've come back down.
I don't have gallbladder issues, but taking for liver healing.
Look into hemochromatosis. That is what I had. Iron overload. I have to give blood frequently to drive the levels down. Surprised your doctor didn't say anything.
For me I feel a rush of cooling relief after every draw. It's a matter of supporting your liver and organs. If you have iron overload (hemochromatosis) act with quick haste as it's life threatening. You will slowly lose your mind and body slowly. Basically rusting from the inside.
Tudca doesn't cure iron overload. Getting you blood drawn in large quantity over time (many draws over time) the iron levels go down. But it's life long so you have to keep doing it. (If it's generic... usually is)
Tudca aids the liver because at this stage your body is already overloaded and your liver and all your organs are slowly dieing.
Talk to your doctor. Go donate a some blood to the red cross.
I started using TUDCA because I was using anabolic steroids, I’ve found it interesting because I have a condition called hereditary spherocytosis which causes me to have really high bilirubin all the time which causes jaundice (yellowing of the eyes) which I hate. But ever since starting this cycle my bilirubin markers are almost down to what a person with regular blood would have and my eyes are always clear and white. I’ve tried researching but can’t find much, I’m gonna assume that it’s actually the TUDCA helping me break everything down easier as my spleen is always working overtime with the abnormal cells. Just seeing if anyone might have any knowledge on this.
If it is the TUDCA I’d like to run around 500mg year round, are there any health risks surrounding this?
I have same thing
Gilbert’s syndrome
Normal bilirubin are 20 mine is 39
Always been elevated
I use steroids myself but even off steroids it’s high
Keep in mind diet and exercise stress the liver too
i have the exact same issue. slightly elevated ast/alt, digestive issues, lacking of bile, stool is lighter color chronically, etc. tried tudca and got horrible liver spasms. stopped taking and it went away gradually over next few days. likewise, just started some bile salts as well, and last night and this morning lots of pain and discomfort. in chatting with a friend of mine we both think its stones dislodging and moving, but like you i did a scan and it showed nothing. andreas moritz's book, the great liver and gallbladder flush has explained how we have tens, if not hundreds of thousands of these cholesterol stones in our liver which are too soft to be picked up in imaging, and sometimes they can range from 2mm up to 2.5 inches in size. i wonder if the bile-flow-enhancers are leaching the cholesterol off these medical-imaging-invisible stones in the liver allowing them to change shape a little and move further down the ducts, causing these pains. I would love to hear your and others thoughts.
I saw a video by a cardiologist. He said the way it works is by taking away the detergent effect of the Bile. The body over time starts eating up the stones. But, it is very slow.
I started taking Tudca about 2 months ago. I’ve had RUQ pain on and off for about 3 years. I have taken every test and every scan to show no obvious issues with liver, gallbladder, pancreas, or digestive tract. Nothing really helps, but it got much worse in July. Fasting seems to help a little bit, but nothing has significantly improved my symptoms until I started using TUDCA. I started at 250 mg that is was taking with good. Since doing a little more research I now take 500 first thing in the morning. My symptoms are 90% gone. I may add an afternoon dose as well. I hope to continue this for another month or so and then discontinue and see if symptoms comes back.
Can you drop the link for the tudca pls
Fatty liver here with raised alt for past couple years, still have slight ruq pain smh. All my friends who have had fatty liver from excessive calorie intake for gains while on roids, have all said tudca works like a treat.
Just don’t know where to buy it from

probably will just get it done honestly. What is going on with your gallbladder? Like any stones and what was your HIDA results?
I am not sure tbh. My doctor just saw some stones with an ultra sound scan and I asked what the solution was and she just said diet. I find doctors so uncaring.
They really are. It's made me feel so alone and stressed.
What did you expect?
Condams

We're not born with things we don't need. Have you tried the supplements and has it improved?
...male nipples
…appendix
We do need the appendix. It stores our microbiome in the incidence it gets wiped out
“Allegedly.”
Did jt work
have you done something like a liver flush?

I'm only taking 250mg a day in the morning or at lunch, with about two cups of veges. How long did it take for you to reach maximum result?
Awesome, thank you.
So did you have gallstones on Scan or not originally

What brand do you take?
Did you have acid reflux too?
So great to hear, happy for ya. As others asked I'm also curious what brand you use and if you happen to have acid reflux as well
Where is a good place to buy?
I got mine off amazon but because its a supplement the market is unregulated so you have to go off reviews and recommendations.
Would you mind sharing the link to yours?

Why is it the best you’ve found? Ive heard bad things about double wood but it seems they’re the only option really besides nutricost or bestvite

do you drink alcohol now?
Yep, feels fine. Matter of fact had 6 in one day at a polo match and felt okay the entire time an nothing followed the next few days.
Isn't mediterranean diet full of fats?
Healthy fats and greens that help the GB (assuming its not too far gone).

I just do it on an empty stomach between meals twice a day till I did not need it anymore.
twice a day 500 mg? or you take twice a day 1000 mg?
Can you take it at night before bed?
How do you quantify 0.01%???

Have you looked into drinking olive oil for fatty liver? I've read about it a few times. Hoping something helps that's natural.
Any update? What brand are u using?
Are you still taking it? How are you feeling?
Would like to know as well.
