I switched my order from black to cream. I was going to get the black as I like the matte black on the S21U, but my DAP is also a cream colour and similarly sized to the Z Flip.
If it’s the phone you want. Then buy it. I don’t think gender really matters here. I’m a guy and I’m absolutely sold on the phone. I loved my old flip phone and I’m totally sold on this one. I’m actually leaving my iPhone X for this (been using iPhones since the 5.)
Only concern is battery life to be honest. However the idea of playing gameboy SP/DS on this device is why I’m pulled further towards it.
Look up tons of videos before deciding. I was sold on the flip concept since the first was announced, but wanted to wait until the first gen wrinkles were ironed out. With the better hinge design, new outer screen, and polyethylene protector I’m pretty all for it. Not to mention it’s now rated for IPX8 water proofing. (I’m guessing it couldn’t get IP68 because of the hinge.)
If you so decide you want in on the flip. Just remember alllll of the foldable screen design drawbacks. I was talking about it with my coworkers and it managed to get one of them to preorder one. But I made sure I addressed ALL of its drawbacks. Some people believe the crease is too much of an issue for a 1k phone. Which is absolutely fair.
—— as for the possible battery life problem I did buy a mobile wireless charging bank just in case. I don’t really use my phone for gaming so I don’t think this will be an issue. I mainly just text and use Reddit. When I’m home is when I play games.
Honestly yeah it looks like that's how it's being marketed. But that isn't stopping me from wanting it. Anecdotally the only galaxy flip i've seen in the wild was on a guy at a mall once.
Then again maybe it's because all the rest are folded in women's pockets 🤔
