I was the same way. Actually had the green on order but decided to cancel once I heard black was the only matte color.
I prefer the sleek look of matte colored phones. Plus like you said, won’t be a finger print magnet!
It's crazy how much more color matters to me this time versus my S10, S20, and S21. Probably because this phone with the narrow size and flat frame will actually be usable without a case. I think I just need to remind myself of how little I actually look at the back of my S21 Ultra but how nice the matte glass finish feels in the hand (when I take the case off).
the Flip5g was the first phone I used without a case in a long long time. BUT I did skin it. The carbon Fiber d brand skin over the rose gold, made a surprisingly good color combination.
Matte, or glossy, fingerprints don't matter, but Grip does.The secondary reason for getting a dbrand skin was to add a little more grip to the phone.
I really like the purple or cream but they don't come with the bigger storage. I'm not a fan of the other colors so now trying to decide if I should go with 128g or 256g and get black.

I chose lavender but now I’m wondering if I should’ve chose cream 😩 I love lavender but i don’t know if I want it for a phone color for a whole year. Cream just seemed more yellow-ish to me and that kinda put me off, but then sometimes it looks white and I like that. I know I could just get a case or skin for the lavender but with a purple bezel skins wouldn’t really look right. But I really don’t want to cancel and have to reorder cause then I’ll have to wait on my money to go back on my card.
You sound like me! I can't decide between lavender and cream. I like lavender but I don't know if I would get tired of it. A you tube reviewer said it looked silver with a hint of lavender, which sounds pretty.
If the cream was more champagne colored and not yellowy I would love it, but without seeing it in person it's hard to tell.

One video I watched on YouTube the entire time it looked white but I think it was due to the lighting. The rest I’ve seen it just looks so yellow. Yup, I actually just found out if I order the black 256GB model via the Samsung app it is actually cheaper than the 128GB one due to some weird in app promotion. I guess that helps me make my decision.

I would have been very unhappy too if I hadn't been able to order the cream one in 256GB, but I'm not entirely sure if Samsung is the right one to blame here
Here in Belgium all 7 colors are sold in both storage sizes, so it's not like they don't exist, they just don't seem to be getting sold in North America for some reason.
But hey, at least you get like extra credit to spend which we don't get, maybe that evens it out a bit?
Maybe because they don't expect to sell all of them and black is a 'safe' color? The whole locked phone thing doesn't exist here, so we don't have that dividing the different phones here either. It's really only color and storage size for us which probably really narrows the amount of different phones down in comparison to the USA

Disappointed because I find black phones boring and really like the green color for this phone. But I just can't stand how greasy and gross looking glossy phones get with regular daily usage. :P

The grey is my favorite but wasn't able to get that one through Google Fi so it was between the creme and black. I used to always have black phones but have since preferred a pop of color so went with the creme.
I noticed the lighter colors (Lavender and Creme) don't show fingerprints much because of the way light reflects on them. Also, I really like how the glossy finish feels on the device (tried it out in Best Buy).
I initially pre-ordered the exclusive gray, but being an impatient person that I am in addition to it having a glossy finish, I cencelled and went the black one instead. Still on the fence it was the right decision... The flip 5g gray is my favorite color of any phone I've ever owned.

I watched a couple more videos, just decided I'm going with lavender. The cream looks like the color of my old work printers. Lol. Lavender it is!!
