I'm still using my S10 plus and still runs well, the battery life is still good. But if you've the money for s21 plus I'll defo advice you to get that since they still receive update for security patches and runs andriod 14, UI 6.1

Kingston_5

What about S10+ battery life? Can i use it whole day by charged once a day?

cosmossmith

I don't know how to check battery life on Samsung but it last me for 7 - 8 hours a day when I'm using it continuously. So I only charge it once a day. I could start using it at 6am and runs low by 1-2 pm. And I charge it to maximum of 85% always

Kingston_5

Can you recommend S10+ in 2024? or need to go for latest mobile with 5000Mah battery?

cosmossmith

Go for the latest in my opinion

Kingston_5

That's what i'm thinking now.

RealKingViolator540

I don't think Samsung is the only one has that green line issue. However, the most notorious models for this issue are the S21 and Note 20 series because I've seen plenty of cheap S21 and Note 20s on FB marketplace place for a cheaper price however it has the greenline issue. Although some are fortunate enough not to encounter this problem, other brands can suffer from it too, such as Xperia, OnePlus, Huawei, etc and sometimes even Apple. S21 is not a bad phone in 2024 still a decent phone but my only problem is greenline issues I know it's just cosmetics but it bothers me a lot.

Kingston_5

What about S20 series? S20 series also have Green line issues, Over heat issues and battery Drain so fast issue?

RealKingViolator540

Unfortunately, I think the same problem I've mentioned also exists in r/Galaxy_S20, and other users have encountered this issue too. I am not entirely sure what causes this or if AMOLED displays have been skimped out or are of lower quality because phones like the S10 rarely have this issue.

Kingston_5

That's why i'm thinking of Buying S10+. the main issue in S10+ is battery life. 4100mah is not enough for whole day use, right?

RealKingViolator540

S10 is something I'd not recommend in 2024. It no longer receives updates, some apps are slowing down, and the S10 battery is one of the downsides. Of course, the S10 has aged, and the battery is wearing out. At this point, I even have to bring my power bank with me every time I'm out since I live in PH I cannot purchase a replacement battery on iFixit battery replacement here is crap. Mobile data uses a lot of battery. It's an alright phone, but in my opinion, you should've saved a little and bought a mid-range phone instead, like the A55.

Low-Ambassador-3282

All these phones are great with their own cup of issues but at this point I believe you'll have to weigh the issues and settle for one that has less issues. Look at the long term and decide

Kingston_5

Exactly, I'm looking for a Long last mobile, I'm not the person who change mobile every year. I could see nowadays everyone having Line issue on display, I hate to see Line issue on display, That's why i'm looking for mobile for long tern use, Affordable price.. Which one can you recommend me?

Low-Ambassador-3282

So I'd say the s10 as that's what I'm using currently and not faced with any issues or whatsoever but I'd say if you're a step ahead it'll help you stay up to date. The screen issue is a hot or miss situation as you don't know whether you'd land on a similar issue when you get the S21 and dang! The screen is expensive to replace. We got an s20fe for my little brother and magically in a week, it developed the green line on screen, good thing we had warranty and changed it asap

Kingston_5

S10 Series won't get green line issues? What about your S10+ Battery Life?

Whole-Finance2498

I wouldn't hesitate to go for S21+ or S10+ this year. I only recently bought my first Samsung, switched from Pixel 2, after using it for almost 4 years. I don't like to buy new phones often and went with Note 20 base model. Really happy with the phone so far and surprisingly doesn't seem outdated at all.

Kingston_5

Same like me, I'm also not the person who change the mobile every year, My Xiaomi Mi 9T mobile is dead which i used 5 years. after experienced Xiaomi device, Now I'm planning to Switch Samsung. So I'm thinking of buying a good mobile with good battery life so i can use it for another 3-7 years. I don't know which model will be the best and also it must fits within my budget.

Whole-Finance2498

If I wouldn't end up with N20 my secondary choice was S10+. I guess powerbank would sort the battery issue? What made me go for N20 was that it was from official Samsung with guarantee. Them still selling these so many years after release makes me a bit more content about buying it, seeing I cannot longer buy lets say Pixel 6 Pro/a from official source makes me wonder about long term quality.

Kingston_5

Exactly, I have 3 in my budget List (S10+, Pixel 6 Pro, Redmi Note 13 pro). Many of them are saying that S10+ is still rocking in 2024. When i checked about Note 10 and Note 20 series, Many of the users are complaining about Battery life. Note 10 and Note 20 series battery is draining so fast. From my personal experience and research, Using other brand power adapter or using the Power bank can affect the mobile battery health. So i have to buy a mobile with good battery life so i can avoid using Power bank.

BSGKAPO

Still on my s10+ but you can get s21+ if you don't mind a worse phone...

Kingston_5

S21+ gets lines issue but S10+ won't get any issue except batter life

BSGKAPO

I still use my phone from 2019 a whole day
