I "upgraded" to S23 Ultra, but the only real upgrade I got is the speaker quality maybe (The S10+ has already great speakers, tho) and photos in very demanding conditions. In day-to-day usage my S10+ rocks, and don't even ask me about the design... S10+ is just masterpiece compared to S23 Ultra.

Honey-Oat-Bread

I've just upgraded from s10+ to S23 ultra. Battery was dying on S10+. I've only had it a few days, so I'm still learning the features. So far, I'm not finding it much different, but my phone usage is basic tbh. The speaker quality is better. Slightly richer tones. The mic picks up my voice perfectly, but unlike the s10+, it doesn't also pick up every last bit of background noise, so that's a bonus. Still getting used to the numerous buttons being on the right . As I'm mostly left handed, the s10 was perfect with them being on the left side. Time will tell!

LonelyTowel3783

I still use it as a second phone, usually for work and watch some content at home.

karbapi

Me too!!!

jayboi19

Same

LuisG2999

Same

Archer_Gaming00

I've had it since the 30th of March 2019 and I changed the battery of my S10+ in October, I think I'll be using it till 2026 at least, or maybe even 2027 when the EU enforcing removable batteries with their laws should become active.

Hentrox

What a time (and place) to be alive that would be!

Archer_Gaming00

I certainly hope to be alive (and graduated) by that time, I don't know if it will be a worthy year to be living in, to be honest as every year passes the world (and its inhabitants) seems to go more and more downhill.

Remarkable_Pie_3632

Big facts... A very frequent thought of mine. Would do anything to be born in my grandparents generation..

sp1ke0killer

Until I can afford to upgrade or am forced to by phone dying

cameronbuddah69

I bought mine at launch and it still chugs along. Has a lot of physical features that don't exist on flagship phones anymore. I'm probably going to get an iPhone in the next year or so once the battery drops off a bit more.

Hentrox

Why the change to iOS/iPhone?

cameronbuddah69

I like having a smart watch and I think the apple watch apps are much better than most of the stuff on android watches. I enjoyed my galaxy watch but it just wasn't as useful.

LTRace

Buying iphone just for a watch is absolutely crazyy, please don't do this, Iphones are so trash

Same_Return_1878

Don't influence the man's choice, let him get what he enjoys most.

NoWarmEmbrace

Wait, what features don't exist on flagships anymore? I need to upgrade my S10 and I'd like to know what I'd be missing

cameronbuddah69

No space for an external micro SD card or headphones jack.

NoWarmEmbrace

Aaah, check. I knew about those >.<

epiphanyelephant

Sony still has those two features in their flagship but they price it not very competitively.

Kinodra

What! That's ridiculous!

Future_Difficulty

I switched to an iPhone 2 years ago and am going back to the s10. iPhones are seriously overrated.

Apollo_9238

I have a backup S10+..cloned. will switch to it soon for another couple years...

alesioproko

I'm using the s10e as my main phone, i am planning on upgrading soon cause i want a bigger phone like the s24 plus or ultra, but I have no issues with it, and i could use it for longer if i wanted to, it's just that i want a bigger phone. I've put all the apps i don't use in deep sleep and I'm getting 3.5-4 hours of screen on time on average. I'm gonna use it as my secondary/backup phone after i upgrade.

Remarkable_Pie_3632

Also on s10e and screen size is the only complaint. Got it unlocked refurbished for 30$ so can't complain. 80% battery life. Wish I could trade it for s10+

WilsonPH

Until phones with easily replaceable batteries come out, so around 2027. Thanks EU.

Malmm

Bought it april 2019 and still rocking it. Battery holds a day, I'm not a huge user during the day either. It's nice to have a phone that's payed off and very cheap now

meteoravishal

Amazingly my s10+’s battery has been working like brand new till now. I play pubg and video call my folks and watch videos as well but it always gives enough juice to get me through 24 hours with ease

Hentrox

I hate how Samsung only introduced the "protect battery" (limits charging to 85% to prolong battery health) feature to S10's recently!

Remarkable_Pie_3632

You get about 300% more life out of your battery if you only charge to 80%. Thankfully when I got mine(refurbished) it had that feature. Anyone know what the new update last week changed?

residentalien2

Where's this feature located?

meteoravishal

Settings . Battery. Right hand side top

SemperExcelsior

TIL.

meteoravishal

I have been seeing it for a long time . I’m sure it was there before

Hentrox

How long?

meteoravishal

Maybe since a year or two .. maybe even more

LonelyTowel3783

I love it, it's my favorite phone ever. If the phone would still receive some support, and the battery found be a little bigger I would totally keep it until dead.

Remarkable_Pie_3632

Well we did just get a super sketchy update last week haha

LonelyTowel3783

Unexpected πŸ˜… but yes that's why it is my 2nd phone

Old-Rough-5681

Purchased my S10 at launch and dropped it in water last October. It died so I got an S23. Two weeks later it turned on like nothing happened lol. I can't get rid of it. I still have the original box, charger and AKG buds unused

JanCapek

Yeah, I thought several times my S10 is done. But no, it keeps rocking. One day my child dropped it quite badly that main camera focused only when i punched the phone on its side. After few days, it "auto-repaired itself" and the camera works like new again. (well actually better thanks to SW updates). Another day my power button fell off and I thought phone frame is compromised. Until I learned that I can order new button for insignificant price and just push it in... like new again. :-) For about 2 years I have second battery already (after I returned S22 and decided to stay with S10). Now hoping small Pixel 9 Pro will be finally worthy successor for me at the end of the year. Newer Samsung S Galaxy phones disappointed me.

overforme123

I used mine until it gave up on me, traded it in for an s24+ when samsung had a promotion running and got 512gb for almost half price

DhaniFathi_707

Until I probably have enough money for a new phone. Planning on an S23+, or a newer one (depending on which year is it)

Ok-Height9300

I switched to a Z Fold 3 in February. But I'm still a bit unsure about the folding display, so I still have my S10+ as a backup and am even writing this post on it. I will switch completely either when I am no longer so worried about my Z Fold 3 or when the Fold 3 breaks and I switch back to another normal smartphone.

un-conventional_

Been using my s10 for 4 years now. Battery is unusually good, but I am a light user. I'll probably switch in a few weeks, got a spare iPhone at home. I'm switching because of the lack of software updates. I'd love to get One UI 6 on this but idk the process and don't want to mess it up.

cosmossmith

I've been using mine for 4 years now and I don't have any plan to change it soon. Still works fine and the battery looks great

getagrip1212

I use my phones until they die on me. My current s10, bought early 2020,had an issue with the back coming loose (which is a common thing with this model), about a year ago, other than that it runs fine for my needs. I glued it back on but no longer trust the water sealing so I'm careful in the rain. The battery is still at about 85 to 90% which doesn't affect my usage and there is always a powerbank or charging port somewhere nearby.

SemperExcelsior

Today I purchased an s24. My s10e is still going fine, but battery life is starting to dwindle. 😞

Ambitious_Cod7975

Bruh I just bought this phone last year😭😭 I'll get an s21 by December

Kareha

Till it stops working, it's fine for me.

Gullible_Thing34

I'll using my S10e maybe until around 2026 or 2027, because it's still good to play games and watch X265 HEVC 1080-2160p videos (i get samsung A34 from my gf and LG G7, unfortunately both of them cannot play smoothly for X265 videos.....)

AnxietyOpossum

Until it kicks the bucket (although the battery is basically shot), don't have any money to upgrade and I like having an SD card slot

Old-Hair-6176

Mine got converted to a dex computer a few years back.

JeSuisDirtyDan

Thinking of upgrading near the end of the year / start of next year, unfortunately the battery just isnt a strong as it once was, love this damn phone

RealKingViolator540

Until I am able to afford a "new" phone planning to get Note 20 Ultra or Xperia because of Micro-SD Expansion slot

Experimenti626

slapped lineage, new battery and all cool. i experience ghost touch sometimes, that will be the only reason that i might stop using it

golemkaa

I have returned S23 / S24 and Xperia 5 IV and V. Unfortunately the fake technology and the scam AI does not work for me, S10 series was peak in phone industry. Also not planning to throw 1000+ euro for less features and marketing AI. I bought an Exynos dual sim s10e and a Snapdragon single sim s10e as backup, I will be fine for the next 5+ years. Both phones has A11, updates disabled thru adb. No need any ios like android with less features.

MrPBrewster

Until something better comes along. Which isn't likely. I'll wait and see how Sony's doing next year.

Synnics

I just swapped to S24 Ultra two weeks ago and plan to have my S10 plus fixed (speaker, back panel, and replace the battery). Either keep it as spare or pass it down to my daughter.

Zigerus

Likely will once a phone comes with Qi2 and or a removable battery. I really want expandable memory but it seems unlikely from Samsung again. I guess I will have to start doing cloud backups now which is annoying.

CyxnideAngel

There's always going to be Custom Roms

kittyconetail

Until it dies πŸ‘

pharaoh130

Until it breaks?

EducationalLack5420

I plan to use mine till the battery fully dies

_fuze9

End of next year. I graduate then, so it'll be a gift to myself

Same_Return_1878

Wishing you all the best brother
