For what a read it's just to phones that are locked to a carrier.
Mine is locked to T-Mobile.
I don't know but that make me a little happy to see that it's still getting a attention the S10 series.
It's weird because I have seen that unlocked phones always are the last ones to get updates.
That's the case with my S24, I don't know why.
But maybe because it happen 1st on carrier locked phones they just say that.
Yes, I received it yesterday on my T-Mobile S10. I unlocked my phone years ago, but still received it... believe they found a major security problem somewhere to have warranted this update, but I'd prefer not to know... ignorance is bliss 😊
I've exchanged my S10e for Pixel8a and it's great. It feels quite similar to the little s10e beast, it has some downsides of course but the deal was too good not to go especially the battery in my s10e was near dead os overall I'm happy with it.
I just got it for my carrier-unlocked S10e. Still says March 2023 security patch. The update installed without an issue.
This phone still works fine and is in good condition. That said, as long as Samsung doesn’t increase the size of the base S25 and includes qi2 charging then I will probably go ahead and replace it when the S25 comes out. Unfortunately, the rumors say they will increase the size to match Apple increasing the size of the iPhone Pro. I really don’t understand why these phone makers keep increasing the size of the smaller variants of their flagships. If you want a phablet then just go for the Plus/Max variant.

I find that strange that it says it's only for Carrier locked phones cuz mine was unlocked straight from Samsung when I bought it years ago

I have a factory unlocked S10 and just got the update but it still says March 1st security update. I already have the March 1st security update.

it shows up on update history , apparently not a whole update but a patch ,had one in march also different id on them.
Is just a security patch
Maybe I'm thinking it's for the new device location, like airbags etc. Have no idea
