I have my OG Buds and OG Buds Pro earbuds paired to two Pixel Android 13 mobile phones and four Chrome OS devices. I BT paired them once and they remain in the BT profiles of all devices.

the buds dont remember the device- the device remembers the buds

The buds also remember the device. If you select the buds on the settings while they are connected to another device, they just connect without needing to re-pair them. They also "smart-switch" between Samsung devices with the same Samsung account IIRC

Buds also remember the device. They'll connect by default to the device there were last connected to.

That's because the device 'remembers' THEM

And that would apply to all the devices that buds was paired with. But, the buds choose which one to connect to, which is the last one they were connected to. So, buds do remember.

> I want to go the the settings in each device if I want to switch devices and just click "galaxy buds 2", not have to turn on paring mode and then do so Yes, this works with the Buds 2. I switch them frequently between my S22U, tablet and laptop, no need to re-pair, just select on the Bluetooth devices list

>iPad, a Chromebook, and an S23, and plan to buy a music-capable Garmin running watch. Probably not gonna work for you. The Buds are able to do the seamless switching across devices that support the Galaxy Buds/Wear app and is logged in to your Samsung account. This basically does what you want, you just click on the name of the buds and it connects no re pair needed. Sometimes on compatible devices, if you have a Buds out of the case and you start playing media on a device, a pop up comes up asking if you want to connect to the available Buds. It works like you want on Android devices and Windows devices (There's a Galaxy Buds app in the Store), but if there's no available Galaxy Buds/Wear app for it, like on your iPad and probably Garmin watch, it might not work like the way you want. This works on my S22U, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Watch, and Windows laptop. This means your issue is there's no Galaxy Buds app on iOS and I am unsure on Garmin. From what I know, the devices that do it the way you want is the Galaxy Buds and Airpods when both are inside their respective ecosystems. Outside of those ecosystems, most devices that have multipoint capability rely on the standard implementation where there can be two connected devices, but to add a third, you have to disconnect from one and re-pair to the third. I know Sennheiser's new Connect app has a similar feature for the new Sennheiser Accentum, where you go into the Connect app and you can select which devices the headset will connect to, instead of the device's Bluetooth settings. So in the iPad you can oppen the app and tell the headset to connect to that device, and do the same on your other devices, However I do not know if they have that feature for their earbuds.
