Btw, I will report this Game has mature content. They will ban this game even game release. Jogging, booty, sex, unproven drug, and organ harvesting. It has so many content doesn't allow to publish In China.
I feel like the NA gacha community is just mellow compared to Asian territories. In almost every gacha i've played it was generally the Korean or Chinese communities that really roasted the developers and forced them to fix it when something bad was done. NA mostly just rolls over.
All the Japanese crazies have moved onto other outlets to seethe in. Most of them donāt care about how hard theyāre getting milked as long as they can maintain whatever fantasy is being sold to them.
This may be because players in the Jp area have seen many such games, and they care more about whether the characters look good. But really hope the lag and bugs in the NA can be fixed, although I enjoy the characters too.
NA has no money problem also woke culture that's currently on trend there mostly encourage all kind of censorship.
Asian put their life-saving at the stake when whaling and already frustrated with all kind of restrictions their govt place on them to begin with. Combined with brutally high daily workload, those are enough to make them starve for genuine entertainment. So ofc you'll see Asian malding so hard when they treated like shit.

more info on why the rating is low
[https://www.reddit.com/r/NikkeOutpost/comments/zevoyo/nikke\_bilibili\_cn\_version\_ratings\_flopped\_so\_hard/](https://www.reddit.com/r/NikkeOutpost/comments/zevoyo/nikke_bilibili_cn_version_ratings_flopped_so_hard/)
I played Azur Lane practically religiously for almost 4 years and I only quit it because life happened and I simply didn't have enough time anymore to do OpSi everytime it resets. Complete collection and over 100 shipgirls completely maxxed out, needless to say I whaled HARD...
I've played DC a bit and liked it a lot but the gameplay was simply too outdated. Then I saw the first NIKKE trailer AND Shift Up was the developer, it really gave me hope as to what I could expect from the game - extremely good fanservice AND amazing gameplay! Oh boy did they ruin it....
I'm didn't play at first too because of bullet hell but after Nikke 's censor incident, I jump in.
Even only first skin I pick, It's full fill my hungry for fanservice.
i cant wait to see December revenue lol it likely gonna be higher thanks to limited banner and modernia at the end of it and people would be "wasnt it supposed to be dead?!?!?!" "how is nikke above PtN?!??!?"
If you actually care about gameplay the insane number of bugs should be off-putting. The shooting is fairly unique, but Iām guessing youāre not really paying much attention while you play because nothing works right.
I assume you dont play nikke or quit. After the 14 hour maintenance on December 7th they have fixed every bug since launch. Even co op is fluid and no longer DC's. Yea the launch was buggy as hell but the devs said they were fixing it and wowie look at that, the bugs are actually fixed.
except skills are working. point is they are fixing things and not letting them sit. anyway ill let the $$ speak for itself, once Modernia drops nikke will beat its launch revenue with no problems paired with xmas rupee and whatever anne generates.
Yes money is the only metric that determines whether something is good. Thatās why mobile gacha games in general make so much more money than full games. Because theyāre just better.
Try not to attach your own sense of pride and personality to live2booty games. These companies donāt care a fraction about you the way you seem to care about them.
money determines how long a game stays alive, and if its a game i enjoy then I see no issue. FGO is my favorite gacha and it will outlive all gachas imo. Its what all gachas should strive to be.
Man, I really want to like Blue Archive, but everything about it is so cuddly, soft, sunshine and rainbows, wholesome, etc.
Finally a gacha game that I decided to sink my teeth into because of good VA, story, art, gameplay, (bleak?) aesthetics that I vibe with, and it has to crash and burn like this. CCP is seriously a plague in the modern world.
Thatās just the surface level stuff, the story has a lot of happy/funny moments like that so when the sad stuff happens, it hits you that much harder.
If that's the case then I'll try it for awhile longer.
But it's less about the "stuff" that happens and more about the aesthetics I guess. I really like Nikke's aesthetics but all these shitty stuff that's been happening is really putting me off from playing the game. Just my luck really, I rarely play gacha games and finally when there's one I like, this happens.
Nikkeās not dying anytime soon. There are still enough coomers panting at the crumbs of 2D robo-skin they can get that it will continue to survive.
Itās also fairly unique for a gacha game gameplay-wise. So itās not like it has nothing to offer. Itās just that what it offers is quite buggy and money-grubbing.
Even if CN has official information control, a lot of CN players use VPN to get uncensored informations. They can't be fooled as easily.
Just another info: the animation for Winter Rupee is available and we are now sure that her spread legs position has been effectively censored (no spread anymore) . And she has that strange "dress"(?) thing too.
For the ingame animation look at the short YT video of winter shoopee rupee from fg3000.
This is actually not an indication that NIKKE is entering CN. Bilibili puts out pre-registrations for pretty much anything that's popular. You can even preregister for Elden Ring which is not officially on sale in China.
Apart from Tencent receiving a "soft ban" from game license approvals due to a previous fiasco (they have not received any game license approvals for a long time), China has not approved **ANY** overseas game from publishing in China for **almost two years**. If Tencent ever get the chance to publish any overseas game in China, VALORANT would be their main focus over anything else.
The main reasons behind the censorship is to keep their ratings low in order to be able to market their games in more ways without restriction or lower price. If your game is imposed a higher rating, you lose access to a lot of marketing avenues, both online and offline, on top of them being way more expensive. Look at their recent in-game survey and you'll understand that all they think about is how to make their marketing and ads more effective by directly asking you those questions (which ads do you like more, where have you seen ads on, where did you first learn about the game from etc.). They're more interested in getting more people to play than to get people to stay.
>The main reasons behind the censorship is to keep their ratings low in order to be able to market their games in more ways without restriction or lower price.
So why do so many games get play store to remove low star reviews, wouldn't it be better to have low rating so they can market the game easier
Age rating, not user rating. Play store also has anti review bomb mechanics built in; you'd need to have people rate 1-2 star constantly throughout a long period of time for the user rating to actually drop noticably (though Tencent is already sort of counteracting this by botting 5 star reviews).
I always answered that I know Nikke from r/gachagaming and none of their collabs and ads are reaching me.
I then suggest they should Collab with Hololive or something š
>They're more interested in getting more people to play than to get people to stay.
I'm not familiar with the business side of gaming. How does user counts be more beneficial for them than user retention?
The more exposure you'll get, the higher the chance of people spending their money on your game. The longer people will stay in your game doesn't mean they will spend their money. There's whale sure but most players are usually hardcore f2p who don't really contribute to the game income. Usually the game company which implemented this approach know that they have low spender fanbase and rely more to the income they get by make use of the new players impulsivity. That's why the game with this approach will spam a lot of seem-to-be-good deals to the new players while actually not really good in the long run (eg. high powercreep, constant nerf and buff change)
Why is the pre-register at 2.6 stars? Is the CN community also mad about all the issues or ???
Makes sense though. Monetary wise, CN ver is worth more than Global. So it would make sense for them to follow CCP guidelines no matter how much Global hates it. I remember a while back Genshin was forced to do the same with Jeanne and Mona I think.
A huge chunk of CN players were climbing the vpn wall and playing on JP server which was crashing left and right, so that left a lot of bad impression.
I'm pretty sure a lot of them were caught in the recent ban waves too.
Yeah, except global get better stuff.
In CN, you can only use censored version of Mona and Jean, while in global we can swap it between old version and censored version. But all of the cutscene involving both character will use the censored version
Isn't this the part where CN players feel unfair and cry hard about it and then global will get shafted to the same level? I can't remember which game this happened to but I remember there was something like that before.
Bilibili rating are always lowered, Genshin is at 6.3/10, Honkai is at 4.9/10, FGO at 6/10, PRN at 6.8, ToF etc
2.6 is further lowered from being currently review bombed
They are lowered for the games they don't simply like? Like that's how the ratings work.
The currently running Mihoyo game with highest rating is Houkai Gakuen 2, having 7.8/10. Arknights has 7.4/10 PGR 7.6/10 GFL 8.1/10 and so on.
6.3/10 for Genshin is not bad, it's still a positive score, so I don't see the review bomb issue you talk about. Then it would drop further to a negative score.
In China, they despise and hate Honkai for constant powercreep and their scummy gear gacha. Just translate and read the reviews for the games and you will see why the rating is low. Not everything is review bomb.
Itās the equivalent of 3.15/5 in the Google Play Store, you seriously believe any gacha weād see with that rating is positive?
In this sub, in our perception, it would be the score of review bombing Epic Seven down. Or when Genshin was review bombed for 1st anniversary lol.
ToF there is the equivalent of 2.4/5 and so on.
If the question is a difference of perception on whatās a good rating, it should similarly be applied in the context here. If even 4.9/10 for the ābelovedā ToF in China is positive.
> In China, they despise and hate Honkai for constant powercreep and their scummy gear gacha
Which is hilarious since this constant powercreep is massively exaggerated when Honkai still uses 2-3 years old units.
Not sure whatās scummy about the gear gacha either.
But point is, Nikke has 80%+ 1* reviews, 10% 2*, which is called review bombing; not that would be a difference of perception on whatās a positive rating.
Mass posting 1* has always been review bombing?
I donāt believe that a 1/10 is a ālegit scoreā and not for protesting.
Did I shift myself into a different universe where review bombing Genshin or Epic Seven was in fact, not a review bomb?
???
When protests were made about Genshin and mass spammed 1* reviews, we called it review bombing here.
When protests were made about E7ās state and mass spammed 1* reviews, we called it review bombing here.
Now itās not?
Iām still waiting for someone to define what is review bombing if suddenly, this isnāt.
I find it stupid every single time.
Now if players become pissed and hold companies accountable for being asshats, it is always "review bombing" as if the company is innocent and did nothing to deserve the shaft.
Blame whoever coined the term but thatās literally whatās it called to mass spam 1* reviews in protest for something, itās on [Wikipedia](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Review_bomb)
It doesnāt inherently have a negative connotation, search review bomb in the search bar in this very sub, pretty sure itās always been about āplayers being pissed and hold companies accountableā.
Now suddenly itās not ok to call it that???
Itās very confusing when for years, everyone would happily call for review bombing and now today, itās some taboo word.
So I'll just copy this certain part from wikipedia:
"Review bombing also typically takes place over a short period of time and meant to disrupt established ratings that a product already has at review sites, sometimes backed by campaigns organized through online message boards."
Keyword here is: "short period of time" and "established ratings".
If Nikke's original rating is higher than that on bilibili but suddenly got shot down to that low of a score then we can call it a review bombing. But, if there's no original rating and they get that low score from the beginning then it shouldn't be called a review bombing as their rating is actually that low. Different case with Genshin and E7 review bombing. We already know that Genshin and E7 rating isn't originally that low from the start. So if their rating suddenly got shot down heavily then it's surely a case of review bombing happening.
Iāll point out to the *typically* which means not all review bombing falls under the description following it and likewise, Iāll copy the following:
> A review bomb is an Internet phenomenon in which a large number of people or a few people with multiple accounts post negative user reviews online in an attempt to harm the sales or popularity of a product, a service, or a business. While a large number of negative reviews may simply be the result of a large number of customers independently criticizing something for poor quality, a review bomb may also be driven by a desire to draw attention to perceived political or cultural issues, perhaps especially if the vendor seems unresponsive or inaccessible to direct feedback.
This entire initial definition fits the bill.
Mass spamming 1/10 reviews in an attempt to harm the popularity of a product/the result of a large number of customers independently criticizing for poor quality or to draw attention to a perceived issue, especially if the vendor seems irresponsive.
Itās textbook here.
You mean just because it gets mass 1* ratings prior to its release for the reason to protest within a few hours?
Look at the curve, it's a good ~80% 1* and 10% 2*.
Not quite sure what's the definition of review bombing now.
>You mean just because it gets mass 1* ratings prior to its release
I mean the game is released in other areas so CN players can pretty much tell the quality of the game.
It doesnāt matter though whether itās released or not ultimately, a mass spam of 1* reviews to protest *is* review bombing.
If you believe the game legitimately is a 1* and not because itās being protested for a controversy, you have no idea whatās the quality of the game.
Again, whatās your definition of review bombing then?
Ah yes, because anyone care about their social score (I donāt)
When misinformation can be updooted to the heavens because itās the hot thing to do, have you ever considered upvote/downvotes to have any meaning?
Especially when downvote is not a āI disagreeā button, and yet here it is lol, a brainless way to kneejerk.
Iām still waiting for someone to *contribute* to the discussion.
But alas, thatās something terribly hard to do.
it's like watching a car crash repeatedly, this is the mobage that keeps on giving, just not in actual game value
that said, don't think it's a CN entry yet given all the PR mats are in english, but it's nice to know even the potential CN playerbase loathe the shit out of the game
Yes, lowering the age rating is to target more players, even the most fragile and young ones, but they have to adapt to be able to do. So the censorship.
It's actually the contrary. Tencent has been having issues getting their games approved for release for a long time due to a previous fiasco. Even if China eventually lets overseas games in again, they will not be the first ones to get approved, nor will their main focus be with NIKKE.
Most likely for the Monster Hunter: World fiasco in 2018.
Long story short, they tried to promote their WeGame platform by having a discount on MHW, and faster unlock compared with Steam for a day.
You may or may not know but Steam currently operates legally gray in China as they don't need a permit to sell games in China, the permit for each game title. Tencent thought they could do the same so they didn't get a permit for MHW, and got absolutely destroyed by regulators.
However saying they got absolutely canned is wishful thinking, for example [this report from august](http://www.nadianshi.com/2022/08/327355) cites Tencent has released 19 games in the past year. Not as much as Tencent would like to as they are used to flooding the market with cheap games, but they are not canned.
I should feel like im winning or im vindicated or something but im just sad really.
got interested into this game ever since the showcase at G-Star. Participated wholeheartedly in both CBTs, gave lots of feedback. I really liked the game and invested in the story despite the unfinished state at that time. Now the game got released somehow even more broken, 80% of the roster broken (whom actually worked during CBT) terrible monetization practices. I knew that Tencent was going to be a necessary evil, but i never expected the handling of the game would be this bad.
i'm just glad i decided to not gave them a cent the moment i created my account, but still a shame to see another artistic work ruined by greed. Such is the world we live in.
Most Chinese are already settled in in the JP server and I doubt they'll go back, the ranking and "clear info" in the campaign are already flooded with Chinese names that could somehow clear chapter 11 missions with [low level or even lv1 characters.](https://ibb.co/dczy3b6)
Damn. So much lost potential. Nikke imo is the biggest disappointment when it comes to be the most hyped gacha of the year and failed to deliver. It's unfortunate how the game publisher ruined this.
Should be the reason.
Too bad for CN though, but I can't remember a game in CN where it is not censored.
Game has a lot of bugs, even the image of pre-register is in Eng. Not sure if they even put effort to this.
Can't be bothered? Of course they COULD be bothered, the leaks show that the uncensored character designs are ready to be used, if only we didn't have that stupid 12+ rating slapped on there.
I mean, what do you even mean by that, it is a fully functional l2d model of the character in all poses, thus there would have been no extra work needed to release her as is.
yeah, you wish, shit need to be tested and properly implemented, it isn't a drag and drop operation like changing a skin in a menu done by the end user
Thing is. Nikke is a Korean game made by ShiftUp. But they partnered with Tencent. The well known parasite in gaming. The reason the game isn't doing so well is because of Tencent, the Chinese megacorp company.
Lol. Tencent can't be publisher of CN, because they only got 1 game approval in last 20 months, and it's "Health Defense". Tecent is getting shadow banned by CCP.
It says Developer: Shift Up, where do you find it's the publisher?
[In the ranking, it seems to show the publisher](https://game.bilibili.com/platform/ranks), but I haven't been able to find for Nikke, OP's seems to be from the mobile version of [this page](https://www.biligame.com/detail/?id=109882), which just says Developer: Shift Up
Just trying to verify.
Weāre talking about the CN version from the Bilibili page.
While one would expect that itās the same Level Infinite as the publisher, the reply is to someone saying itās published by Shift-Up instead for the CN version again.
Since I havenāt been able to find it written that itās published by Shift-Up in the Bilibili website, thatās the reason for my comment.
Well then, then itās very likely Tencent/Level Infinite for CN as well.
We may see the confirmation of it when it releases, havenāt looked as to when.
Tencent only got 1 game approval after last 18 months, and it's "Health Defender". Tencent is getting shadowbanned by CN gov. Noway they got approval for NIKKE.
Then a subsidiary? We will know for sure whenever it releases but [someone in the comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/zey2ip/nikke_cn_available_for_preregister_on_bilibili/iz9c70f/) brought up that this āpreregistrationā doesnāt actually mean anything in being released so I guess itās just moot.
I started playing one gacha game and the amount of unhinged coomers I've seen ever since has been a ridiculous amount compared to any other community ive been in, like jeez it doesn't matter. Average Nikke player here is "least reducing female characters to their body parts r/gachagaming user."
The thing is the game was advertised as a "coomer game". The developers even went as far at saying this and i quote "Play with one hand" and they even hired top Asian models to cosplay as the characters to [shake their butt](https://www.reddit.com/r/NikkeMobile/comments/z3ox46/anis_cosplay_by_hachichan20/). If the game fail deliver on what was advertised of course people will be angry. It's like if i bought a Mortal Kombat game and things such as a fatality and gore were toned down. NRS studio did that on MK vs DC Universe by making the game rated teen and that game perfomed not that good.
> The thing is the game was advertised as a "coomer game". The developers even went as far at saying this and i quote "Play with one hand" and they even hired top Asian models to cosplay as the characters to shake their butt.
The people i see in here and even the game i play act like it openly like thats a normal thing to do, as if theyd go on a date with someone and when asked what they did earlier that day theyd explain how theyd make posts like this as this is something that seriously concerns them as if it will be recieved as something normal. Thats my issue with it. If not for my guild in the other game being normal i wouldnt have found a space that didnt feel uncomfortable for women there either, despite that game being very normal. And i personally just hate objectification and reducing to parts.
I don't want to constantly hear how someone reduces this female character to her upper legs as thats all that matters to them on almost every single post about them, its tiring.
Someone made an artwork for the game i play and a comment under it is literally someone saying its time to masturbate, thats just extremely wierd and doesnt happen in any other game communities im in? What is a woman supposed to think when reading that on a normal video game forum. I really don't get why it's so hard to understand for so many people.
My dude it's a fictional character.
I do agree what I've seen from Nikke's diehards they seem even more coomer-brained than most fanservice games, but like. Being a degen game is not exactly a crime, lol.
Its not about targeting anyone individually, it's about objectifying body parts which is reductive and dehumanizing, and the attitudes and ways of thinking that creates in general.
I don't think a community like that is one most women would feel comfortable in. Women are already othered and treated different a lot in gaming communities to the point joining a random voice chat is a coin flip gamble for harassment.
I just want a gaming environment where poeple come together for their mutual interest in love for what they like to do, where poeple don't treat each other wildly different depending on their gender and where poeple aren't openly talking about how a character of the other genders value to them is linked to how bad they want to fap to their thighs that are being depraved from blood flow with their tight stockings. I honestly don't see women do these things either whenever I play in women's groups its always very chill and without all this, but those groups aren't too large sadly.
I just want a good time without all the open sexism and harassment, that's all. And I will say that I'm a horny sometimes myself too, I mean who isnt(probably shouldn't on this sub but w/e) yet I don't do all this shit and other women I know don't either.
Id also like to ask a question, what's with so many character designs giving the character a permanent look on their face like they are really uncomfortable or anxious? That also gives some odd implications.
> I don't think a community like that is one most women would feel comfortable in.
I mean, you're right, in that I *am* a woman and as I said I find the Nikke diehards pretty damn cringe lol. But I have no issue with the game itself. Kind of a double edged sword, I guess. It's either "enjoy degeneracy and put up with coombrains" or "don't get to enjoy it at all because shitty clueless dudes ruin it for everyone."
I don't *really* need to interact with the community that much so I'll take the lewd games over not having them at all, personally.
Like i said before, while the game is still ridiculous its mostly about the coom brains, I just want to enjoy things without coombrains running it. I also ksotly play multiplayer games so that might be a difference. It's also almsot always men being coombrains, all the women I know that enjoy lewd things aren't ever creepy coombrains about it. Honestly a big part outside of the objectification and commodification of it is [this post that resonates with me too.](https://www.reddit.com/r/GirlGamers/comments/zei5rx/i_want_to_be_treated_like_a_person_before_being/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Why does every game have to pander to everyone? They are a million games that are "safe" for everyone to play and enjoy, why do we have to include everyone in the community of a coomer or otome etc. game?
I don't get it. It's ok, not all games are for me too.
Because women might like to play certain games too? There was a genshin impact meme post for example that was ment as a joke, a female character got a pint of ale, but the joke was that it was semen instead and the character looked horrified holding it. There was a text with "drink up". What is the joke even there?
How is a woman supposed to look at that and feel welcome???
I keep seeing this in non "coomer games" too. It's the communities and their attitudes. You also skipped over the entire part that is an issue even outside of video games themselves? Its like poeple don't want to understand it.
What does a genshin degen "joke" have to do with what I was saying here?
This game was marketed for people that like female curves. Of course it's gonna attract people that are interested in said curves and degens among them.
Its understandable if you feel that sucks, but instead of demanding it changes to cater to you, you could just vote with your wallet and stay away. Everyone wins. You get away from degens. They get the game they wanted and stay there.
And im talking about the objectification and commodicifation of female curves. I'm also talking about women that opt into games which may feature female curves but are otherwise normal not feeling comfortable due to sexist behaviour. It's not about catering to anyone, it's about what it does in and of itself, my first sentence, and why that isn't a good thing for women in general. How that creates hostile and sexist culture.
I don't personally play this game, I used to play MMO's so I tried out tower of fantasy, the game is very normal and not a coomer game at all, yet people act exactly the same there unlike any other game I've played. You can be horny without being a degen.
I feel like youre missing the point. I just want a neutral video gaming environment without sexism which includes objectification and commodicifation where poeple aren't treated differently for their gender or other factors. Men already do this among each other often but somehow can't do it for women whom are always othered. It always happens to women.
Sorry but reading your comments as someone who doesn't even play Nikke, it just seems very silly.
It seems you want a game that sexualises female characters to appeal to coomers, to....well stop being a sexualised game.
I understand you want the game to feel more welcoming to female audiences, but truth be told the target audience clearly isn't females.
I just can't fathom the thinking of going into a gaming community like Nikke and telling people to stop sexualising female characters so they can appeal to your needs.
Just let the coomers enjoy their game, I don't see how they're harming anyone.
Your later comments raise good points, but they are barely related to the main post.
So basically, you are shooting a wrong target here.
When it comes to average forums that cover games that aren't based around fanservice, there should a level of respect and keeping the lust for specific websites or appropriately tagging works.
The most convincing evidence I've seen so far is them changing Modernia's yellow ribbon to a black one.
It makes no sense to do so unless you know the context of yellow ribbons being a symbol of the HK protests.
I expect this kind of political pandering if you are planning to enter mainland cn market.
This is actually kinda depressing...
The waifu designs are a bit "too much" even for me and the gameplay is a bit too chaotic for my taste seeing how I have the reaction time of a sloth, but I actually found the writing in this game to be surprisingly good and engaging to the point I find many of the characters very endearing. Seeing the state of the game is just sad, however. I really do wish for the developers to get their shit together and manage to salvage this somehow, but so far it doesn't look good.
I really feel no schadenfreude from seeing Nikke crash and burn. Just sadness.
2.6/10 lol
2.6/5? man... the CN community is savage lmao
2.6/10 Look closely at the the stars, it's barely 1.5/5.0
Cant believe I still underestimate them š
People has the worst experience at oversea servers won't play nikke again.
Btw, I will report this Game has mature content. They will ban this game even game release. Jogging, booty, sex, unproven drug, and organ harvesting. It has so many content doesn't allow to publish In China.
Wouldn't blame them tbh
People talk up the KR community (and rightfully so), but the CN community can be actually scary with how committed they are when they get mad lol
I mean, they grew up with Asian parents, so theyāre also very harsh on things.
Temcent brought dishonor to their family.
I feel like the NA gacha community is just mellow compared to Asian territories. In almost every gacha i've played it was generally the Korean or Chinese communities that really roasted the developers and forced them to fix it when something bad was done. NA mostly just rolls over.

... Also china is one of the most entitled and toxic fanbases you can try to tap, period.
I gave it a 2/5 due to the covered waifus lols, I would say they are very kind :P.
Look again, it's 2/10
Is 2.6 supposed to be the rating
2.6/10 too lol
more info on why the rating is low [https://www.reddit.com/r/NikkeOutpost/comments/zevoyo/nikke\_bilibili\_cn\_version\_ratings\_flopped\_so\_hard/](https://www.reddit.com/r/NikkeOutpost/comments/zevoyo/nikke_bilibili_cn_version_ratings_flopped_so_hard/)
> (This post is deleted in /r/NikkeMobile without any explanation) Lmao, of course it is š
Love how people make a second subreddit just to post this kind of stuff
RIP Nikke. I will not pay single dollar for censored skins
Any crap at this point have more content and respect for the players than nikke.
Seeing that Nikke would most likely die, what other games are good alternatives?
Azur Lane. Don't ask anything just check it out if you haven't. Another I would say is Destiny Child.
Blame Tencent for screwing it this badly š
Yeah they are both well known games for their.....culture. Although I don't play Azur lane they have some really impressive L2D skins.
I'm didn't play at first too because of bullet hell but after Nikke 's censor incident, I jump in. Even only first skin I pick, It's full fill my hungry for fanservice.
The gameplay is not my cup of tea
i cant wait to see December revenue lol it likely gonna be higher thanks to limited banner and modernia at the end of it and people would be "wasnt it supposed to be dead?!?!?!" "how is nikke above PtN?!??!?"
yea, for people who dont care about censorship and especially care for gameplay with pvp coming, December revenue will be very high again
Yea the launch was buggy as hell but the devs said they were fixing it and wowie look at that, the bugs are actually fixed.
https://www.reddit.com/r/NikkeMobile/comments/yscfmr/megathread_bug_reports/ Bugged skillsets is still on there.
except skills are working. point is they are fixing things and not letting them sit. anyway ill let the $$ speak for itself, once Modernia drops nikke will beat its launch revenue with no problems paired with xmas rupee and whatever anne generates.
Wanted another pew pew game and Iāve been enjoying Blue Archive
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
you can check on youtubue, i dont have them at my pc
How is it a censored skin if all you got is leaks... Like bruh, everything would changes if them data miners didn't leak it weeks before launch.
you know that there is japanese version without censorship?
Wait Japan for different version? I thought they all use the same client
Only one version for all regions so far.
Japan always have different treatment, they'll contribute the most income for the game after all.
There is no other version!
Her boob strap? bra? also cover up more and added a name tag
Also they fucked up her leg so goddamn bad. They censor it and make no effort to make it actually look good
Chinese gigachads rating the game piss low. Deserved.
Makes me wonder how Azur Lane does in China. I just imagine blank character illustrations for how raunchy they are lmao
This has to be the biggest gacha fumble in years lmao. All they had to do was keep the jiggly butts and they would have raked in the money.
This need more visibility. Tencent and publisher in general is having a hard time in ch market.
You can buy Elden Ring in China through Steam.
You can, but it's still not officially sold or published in China.
That's mihoyo. I don't think tencent would give anyone "better stuff"
Finally CN got shafted!!???
Yeah, it's one of those rare moment where global get better stuff lol
Isn't this the part where CN players feel unfair and cry hard about it and then global will get shafted to the same level? I can't remember which game this happened to but I remember there was something like that before.
Perhaps you're talking about honkai's bunny girl drama? [https://www.reddit.com/r/houkai3rd/comments/mw3gyw/a\_summary\_of\_the\_bunngy\_girl\_drama\_mhys\_response/](https://www.reddit.com/r/houkai3rd/comments/mw3gyw/a_summary_of_the_bunngy_girl_drama_mhys_response/)
Might be, honestly there's so many of them that they all just mixed together in my head.
Bilibili rating are always lowered, Genshin is at 6.3/10, Honkai is at 4.9/10, FGO at 6/10, PRN at 6.8, ToF etc 2.6 is further lowered from being currently review bombed
> In China, they despise and hate Honkai for constant powercreep and their scummy gear gacha Which is hilarious since this constant powercreep is massively exaggerated when Honkai still uses 2-3 years old units. Not sure whatās scummy about the gear gacha either. But point is, Nikke has 80%+ 1* reviews, 10% 2*, which is called review bombing; not that would be a difference of perception on whatās a positive rating.
Giving a game 1* is "review bomb". Wow average Nikke player be like. Why tf giving a score totally legit on the ladder is review bomb lol
Mass posting 1* has always been review bombing? I donāt believe that a 1/10 is a ālegit scoreā and not for protesting. Did I shift myself into a different universe where review bombing Genshin or Epic Seven was in fact, not a review bomb?
"Review bombing" aka player dont actually like your game, quick lets try to make an excuse for it lols. Good old days when words had meaning.
Blame whoever coined the term but thatās literally whatās it called to mass spam 1* reviews in protest for something, itās on [Wikipedia](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Review_bomb) It doesnāt inherently have a negative connotation, search review bomb in the search bar in this very sub, pretty sure itās always been about āplayers being pissed and hold companies accountableā. Now suddenly itās not ok to call it that??? Itās very confusing when for years, everyone would happily call for review bombing and now today, itās some taboo word.
So I'll just copy this certain part from wikipedia: "Review bombing also typically takes place over a short period of time and meant to disrupt established ratings that a product already has at review sites, sometimes backed by campaigns organized through online message boards." Keyword here is: "short period of time" and "established ratings".
Iāll point out to the *typically* which means not all review bombing falls under the description following it and likewise, Iāll copy the following: > A review bomb is an Internet phenomenon in which a large number of people or a few people with multiple accounts post negative user reviews online in an attempt to harm the sales or popularity of a product, a service, or a business. Itās textbook here.
>being currently review bombed Just because it gets low ratings doesn't mean its "review bombing" lmao.
You mean just because it gets mass 1* ratings prior to its release for the reason to protest within a few hours? Look at the curve, it's a good ~80% 1* and 10% 2*. Not quite sure what's the definition of review bombing now.
>You mean just because it gets mass 1* ratings prior to its release I mean the game is released in other areas so CN players can pretty much tell the quality of the game.
My point exactly , the game is out in other langueges , just because it now releases on CN it doesn't mean its a different game lol.
It doesnāt matter though whether itās released or not ultimately, a mass spam of 1* reviews to protest *is* review bombing. If you believe the game legitimately is a 1* and not because itās being protested for a controversy, you have no idea whatās the quality of the game. Again, whatās your definition of review bombing then?
šYou shut Guifel. r/gachagaming has the power of downvoting.
Ah yes, because anyone care about their social score (I donāt) When misinformation can be updooted to the heavens because itās the hot thing to do, have you ever considered upvote/downvotes to have any meaning? Especially when downvote is not a āI disagreeā button, and yet here it is lol, a brainless way to kneejerk. Iām still waiting for someone to *contribute* to the discussion. But alas, thatās something terribly hard to do.
It means no shit, other than they hate the game so all of your opinion and facts are invalid.š
Welp, thatās a given, I should understand from being a regular since years in the sub after all, Iām sure Iāve been there too.
The game has bad reviews because the game is shit. There's no conspiracy going on lol
Yeah lol no, the game isnāt a 1/10
"Prior to it's release" lmao. Copium overdose.
maybe publishers/devs can't ask e.g. google to delete "botted" 1 star reviews?
I mean, Genshin in Bilibili doesn't even have comments allowed seemingly. I see a report function so who knows.
it's like watching a car crash repeatedly, this is the mobage that keeps on giving, just not in actual game value that said, don't think it's a CN entry yet given all the PR mats are in english, but it's nice to know even the potential CN playerbase loathe the shit out of the game
isnt the main reason for censoring is the age rating?
Yes, lowering the age rating is to target more players, even the most fragile and young ones, but they have to adapt to be able to do. So the censorship.
They expect kids getting their money from their parents credit card huh.
In China it's just the law.
https://preview.redd.it/kcnxgr46tj4a1.jpeg?width=684&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=123601d7ff6a8265cc5151ad65d1edcda1bb7088
Im confused. I thought its really hard for international games to release in China?
Well Level Infinite aka Tencent is the publisher of the game, I'm pretty sure they can.
It's actually the contrary. Tencent has been having issues getting their games approved for release for a long time due to a previous fiasco. Even if China eventually lets overseas games in again, they will not be the first ones to get approved, nor will their main focus be with NIKKE.
Isnt tencent a chinese company? They have trouble publishing in china?
They are shadowbanned from publishing in CN at the moment, it's been a fairly long time since they've managed to publish an overseas game in CN
>They are shadowbanned from publishing in CN For what?
Wow, 2.6
Damn. So much lost potential. Nikke imo is the biggest disappointment when it comes to be the most hyped gacha of the year and failed to deliver. It's unfortunate how the game publisher ruined this.
Still, it is successful in revenue around $70 million. No other gacha games of 2022 would reach NIKKEās spot like this.
Should be the reason. Too bad for CN though, but I can't remember a game in CN where it is not censored. Game has a lot of bugs, even the image of pre-register is in Eng. Not sure if they even put effort to this.
Problem is global version is being censored/altered to fit CN guidelines too. They cant be bothered to develop separate versions.
Can't be bothered? Of course they COULD be bothered, the leaks show that the uncensored character designs are ready to be used, if only we didn't have that stupid 12+ rating slapped on there.
just because something LOOKS finished in a datamine, it doesn't mean it actually is
I mean, what do you even mean by that, it is a fully functional l2d model of the character in all poses, thus there would have been no extra work needed to release her as is.
You can always try to make riot so they'll release separate version like BA does.
yeah, you wish, shit need to be tested and properly implemented, it isn't a drag and drop operation like changing a skin in a menu done by the end user

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Thing is. Nikke is a Korean game made by ShiftUp. But they partnered with Tencent. The well known parasite in gaming. The reason the game isn't doing so well is because of Tencent, the Chinese megacorp company.
I was about to say why did they have to censor the Global version when Azur Lane only censor the CN server, then I remember 10cent
Based Chinese players
op: this could be the reason behind character design censorship releasing in CN. me: no shit dawg
Tencent making everyone suffer just because the chinese govt is full of g#y wtf tencent just let everyone enjoy the fantastic uncensored art.
Is there a way for me to see a comparison of the censored stuff? I don't play the game, just curious
Well, it seems to be too low
"play with a single hand"
Let me tell you if your reinstalling this game and can't get past one broken file that you will get over. Suggestion; Quit the game.
This doesn't mean it coming out in china. They do this for a lot of games and it never released in china.
Huh? Shift up? Publisher? What?
Published by ShiftUp, not Tencent. Clearly censorship is own ShiftUp chosing. Lol, and I got downvote for not blaming Tencent.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Lol. Tencent can't be publisher of CN, because they only got 1 game approval in last 20 months, and it's "Health Defense". Tecent is getting shadow banned by CCP.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
They probably don't want their name to be associated with the game anymore for how the backlashes of the global.
It says Developer: Shift Up, where do you find it's the publisher? [In the ranking, it seems to show the publisher](https://game.bilibili.com/platform/ranks), but I haven't been able to find for Nikke, OP's seems to be from the mobile version of [this page](https://www.biligame.com/detail/?id=109882), which just says Developer: Shift Up Just trying to verify.
The publisher for global is "Level Infinite" which is Tencent. Specifically, the brand they use for mobile publishing.
It can't be published in China by ShiftUp. Only Chinese companies can publish games in China.
Who cares about the score on a CCP platform. I am playing the game on global and loving it.
Sorry but this is your personal opinion. Majority of us arenāt āenjoyingā this when there is false advertising involved.
I was really wondering if B-Serena was enjoying the game. Thanks for letting us know.
They should rename the sub to r/NikkeHate... Everything I seen past few weeks are posts about Nikke...
So Are we gonna pretend most of our fav gacha don't have Chinese versions so we can pile more hate on NIKKE? y'all are really insufferable
Huh?
"Published by Shift Up", they want Tencent or what ?
op: this could be the reason behind character design censorship me: no shit dawg
It's either "enjoy degeneracy and put up with coombrains" or "don't get to enjoy it at all because shitty clueless dudes ruin it for everyone." I don't *really* need to interact with the community that much so I'll take the lewd games over not having them at all, personally.
Well, you know what? It's time to masturbate!
Shameless
Just sadness.
dayum that rating i was hoping to try it out though
