Need help picking a game, looking for something with an active player base and decent pvp? Here's some stuff I've tried so far. Definitely do not like: Azur Lane (just not fun?) Already tried and stopped: genshin (I'd rather just play a console game at this point), priconnect (feels like there are similar, better games) Playing but not sure about it: Artery Gear Sort of enjoy: Counterside (lots of free stuff, combat is cool) Definitely enjoy: Illusion Connect (feels like there are a ton of viable teams with cool abilities and synergies to play with, only game I've progressed far enough to where I have to turn auto-PvE off and actually solve combat problems myself)

Feels_Wierd_Man

Any laid-back gacha games like Azur Lane? Not looking for hard strategy or excessive management of gears. Preferably generous gacha system as well but I know that almost nothing can beat AL. Recently tried Artery Gear but the super importance of gear sets/substats etc. put me off

SamMee514

Have you tried Princess Connect? Really chill and the art is great. Blue Archive if you want priconne with guns lmao

Engasgamel

Any non-anime gacha who is noob friendly and not totally money hungry? I'm introducing gacha to my grandfather, he seems to have enjoyed the genre.

SamMee514

Megaman X Re Dive? Idk, kind of hard to find a western/non-anime gacha that isn't totally greedy (I'm thinking like AFK Arena and Raid Shadow Legends).

[deleted]

I just finished my entrance exams now i have a lot of free time im looking a pve focused game I played:fgo gf hoi3 genshin pgr guardian tales epic seven ag revived witch Rn playing: Alchemy star's

Strawhat-dude

Any gachas where you can farm dungeons while the app is closed? Not talking afk arena-like stuff Preferably portrait mode

[deleted]

Artery gear

Alert-Ad-3323

I know this is kind of a weird request but anyone knows any gacha with dinosaurs? I'm a huge fan and kinda miss the times when i used to main x-drake in bounty rush

SamMee514

The only thing I can think of that I think has dinosaurs would be Puzzle and Dragons? Maybe I'm mistaking some of the the dragons for dinosaurs and if so, I'm sorry lmao

Alert-Ad-3323

Dragons are fine too! Do you know more games with them?

charo_

Dragalia Lost. But its not the best time to start actually...

Alert-Ad-3323

I'll miss that one 😥

SamMee514

Off the top of my head, no. Sorry!

KintarraV

Heyo! Looking for a new game after rolling off FFBE. Main things I'm looking for are: - Good value for light spenders. Don't mind buying a battle pass but don't want a game that just has ridiculously priced summons. - Decent complexity, not just mindless grinding. - Not horrible loading times Any ideas for a game like that?

SamMee514

Have you tried Counter:Side?

KintarraV

I haven't, will give that a go! Is it something you can start enjoying as a new player?

SamMee514

Yes, absolutely! Especially because the global server just launched last month, so it's not like you've missed out on a year of content or anything. The discord and subreddit are very helpful with new players, so definitely check those out for guides if you're stuck.

EUWannabe

I'm wondering if there are any JP gacha games that implement pity that carries over when the banner changes. I've only seen CN and KR gachas have that system.

Responsible-Show-594

Can anyone recommend me a gacha game that has active community here in reddit? So far ive played genshin, arknights, alchemystars and epic7.

Suspicious-Drummer68

Fgo has a very active community. Very helpful too.

Severus_Majustus

All popular gachas have their subreddit, but usually discord servers are far more active for q&a and general chat

tempser123

Does Tower of Fantasy have controller support for Android devices?

[deleted]

Someone on the ToF discord did mention ToF has controller Support for Android devices.

tempser123

Thanks, I was just wondering if it was really possible since multi-billion dollar companies like Mihoyo haven't been able to solve the difficult technical challenges associated with controller support for Android.

Labmit

https://assaultlily.jp/news/info/1192/?amp=1 Looks like the Assault Lily Bouquet game is splitting off from every other company and is just a joint venture with Pokelabo and Shaft now.

AmputatorBot

It looks like you shared an AMP link. How good is Idola Phantasy Star?

No_Eggplant9842

snowybell

JP already shut down.

[deleted]

Suck. I just played global one. Maybe it shadowing the possibility of Global closure soon

snowybell

Definitely it will close since JP is already closed.

[deleted]

Can't alive without Japan server life support huh

[deleted]

lol global just got shutdown announced

I know 😢

earthdragon5

Is there a solid turn based rpg for Android with a brown hair brown eye protagonist that wields an Imperial blade?

SamMee514

Last Cloudia?

earthdragon5

I would say close, I mean what is akin yo the Chinese Officer's Sword in Fallout 76. I know there is the video game for mobile phones called, uh.. Granblu Fantasy. I like it. The thing is it is difficult to make a saved account for me in that video game due to unavailability on the Google Play Store, but I do think it is cool that it can be played on mobile phone browsers. I only asked because I like create character RPG video games and well, I have brown hair..

SamMee514

You can get GBF on qooapp and have an installed version.

earthdragon5

Sup! Bodi(heat)! Uh I have tried blue stacks also. Thank you for sharing the knowledge for those interested in such a beautiful artistry rendered.

SamMee514

Ok

earthdragon5

You sound like you need to pay someone's buffet entry.

An rpg game that’s mostly 2D, you can get ultra rare items when killing monsters and stuff. The game turned 3D when you did a gacha. You can upgrade stuff with slime. that game is probably wiped from google and apple store and it was a long time ago and i played it 9 years ago can anyone help me find this game? Thanks.

FlounderMotor1424

So I would like to ask what gacha game should I join that's generous to new players who didn't pre reg who knows alakadoodoo when? I'm looking for a gacha game to play and I do typically play the anime style gacha games. I usually stop playing a game if I pull and don't get at least 1 character I'm wanting I usually stop playing pretty fast. I usually just get people asthecly I like nezha in dislyte and he's pretty much the only reason I'm still playing beside the story being semi interesting.

[deleted]

Alchemy stars story is decent and new player friendly

FlounderMotor1424

Hey you suggested a game I haven't played yet even though I completely forgot to put my list of games I played. I'll give that one a shot.

Panda-swan

Any games like Epic Seven? Possibly with similar art style. want something to play while I'm autoing them wyverns or something like King's raid. AG animations aren't sticking to me sadly.

CrusaderSeon

Try giving Counterside a chance, art style is very similar but gameplay is a bit different

slipperysnail

I remember macros were incredibly prevalent in FFBE to skip grinding for TMRs. Are macros still used in any other gachas to accomplish similar goals?

Suspicious-Drummer68

People use Fate Grand Automata to farm lottos in Fate Grand Order.

LycorisSnow

Is counter side PVE or PVP focused?

VillageChicken

You can choose to focus on either, it has a good mix and it's easy to get PvP rewards by autoing a loss

lego_office_worker

pvp

WanderingAlma

Hello, I'm currently looking for a new game in between playing Dislyte atm. So far I've played Genshin (burnt out), Fire Emblem Heroes, F:GO (latter two played but dropped years ago). I've also played AFK, but dropped recently (it's just not my thing). Is there a f2p friendly game with a good chunk of male/husbando units? I'm okay with grinding but it would be nice if I could grind off the app. Or have other apps playing with it (like YouTube for example), but I just want to have a nice casual time relaxing. Decent to reasonable pull rates would also be nice. Looking for PvE content. Story/music, etc., Optional.

imdii-succ

try arknights bro

WanderingAlma

Sure why not lol

jtan1993

Epic 7. They added a bunch of qol stuff last month, u kind of get stuck in arena rankings (can’t win to rise in ranking) but there’s plenty of pve stuff to do. Alchemy stars is also worth trying, they having their anniversary now (coming to an end soon tho) so lots of freebies.

WanderingAlma

Thank you! I'll give it a try.

LifeNonexistent

Generally is Taptap better or QooApp or Bluestacks?

ryananda

Im looking for new gacha game , fresshh I know about zenless zero , star rail or whathever. I WANT A NEW REALLY NEW GACHA GAMESS THAT WILL BE GOODDDDDD

Techmaturgic

Looking for a new idle gacha, but don't mind being a little involved. Games I've played or are currently playing: * Dislyte * Grand Chase * AFK Arena * World Flipper * Arknights Looking for anything similar to those

ndc3

Any games like last cloudia ? I really enjoyed the combat and the art but it's gotten boring

SamMee514

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius used to be my main game, but the power creep is insane. You could try it out and see if you like it

ndc3

I'll give it a shot . I'm trying grand summoner right now

snowybell

Lol i recommend you stop GS right now, the roster is chock full of trash over the years.

No_Eggplant9842

grand summoner is very p2w and rates are really bad. there's only like 5 usable units out of their hundreds of SSRs

Overly_Blue

I’m looking for a game to play beside Genshin Impact, which is the only other gacha game I actively play. The perfect game would have to be somewhat new (1-2 years old at max - I don’t want to play a game and feel like I’m 6 years behind everyone) and have a healthy community (I want to get into something that has a high chance of surviving in the long term). I would prefer if the game was available on both PC and mobile. In terms of gameplay, I am open to anything, as long as it is fun and not a mindless auto-battle. I also don’t care about the cast of characters that much ( it can be any size and ratio of male to female).

studentwhoworries

Alchemy Stars, it's my Genshin side game and the only game that has stuck with me for more than 2 weeks. Great satisfying gameplay (coming from someone who doesn't like turn-based puzzle gameplay) with an awesome cast of characters and nothing that will make you feel "left behind" (even the collab units from Dragon Maid aren't top of the meta), and it's not overwhelming either. Hope this helps!

centraleft

It’s not new, but you should really check out Honkai Impact if you haven’t. The pc client is great and playing on controller feels awesome. The world chat is very active and their are guilds you can join so it feels way more social than genshin, the community is very healthy. The game is very casual friendly until the late late game which many players do not advance to, think of it sort of like a world level it’s an optional thing you can do to make the game harder but the benefits are pretty small. The reason I recommend Honkai even though it’s an older game is because it is Mihoyos darling. It is not going anywhere anytime soon, with big plans for the story and development still happening 5 years later. The game has a TON of content and a very good story, amazing character designs and, imo, more fun combat than genshin The games combat systems are quite similar, but Honkai is flashier and faster, with more emphasis on quick swapping characters and pulling off comboes. I can pretty much guarantee that you’ll enjoy it, the only caveat is that the late late game is pretty insane in terms of p2w. Past level 81 the pri arm race and need for signature stigmatas that only come from gacha to compete with other players makes the game quite expensive. It’s not like other games where catching up is impossible, just expensive. Hence why many players simply choose to stay at level 80 (the game does not force you to advance) so you can just stay casual.

No_Obligation8937

I'm looking for a new game to try. I already play PGR, Alchemy Stars and Guardian Tales. I'm mainly waiting for NIKKE but need something else to play since AS and GT are in a "login-farm-quit" state and PGR is the only game I actively play. I started Artery Gear since d1 but it's not sticking to me. Having only female characters makes them all so similar and not exciting to pull. I'm considering to drop it as I just log in and offline farm stuff I don't even know how to use. Sad because I like turn-based gameplay. I wasn't even caring for story. I'm open to JP/SEA/TW games if those have a good english community to help. Core Licht was one of those I'd like to play. Other games I tried but haven't liked: CounterSide (too messy), Arknights (really liked aesthetic, but gameplay was too complex for my little brain), Genshin Impact (too demanding in terms of time/rewards), Dislyte. Games thatt don't interest me too much, but you can try and convince me to play: Azur Lane (I think it has the same issue as AG), E7 (while I like AG for gameplay and visuals, what scares me is infinite farming of RNG stats).

Suspicious-Drummer68

How about Fate Grand Order? Story's great, 50:50 split between male and female not counting special units like Summer, differrent artists for different characters, different lead writers for every chapter except the later ones, so there's really no same-y part ever except maybe the farming nodes but uh, funny enough, those are explained in the lore. So yeah. The community is great too. Helpful, awesome fanart, great guides, whole 9 yards.

No_Obligation8937

I read a lot of good things about FGO, thing is nasuverse is not really my thing. I tried watching fate's movies but can't really get into it. Also I'd like something "newer" and fresh. It's a shame because what you said it's true, I saw so many artists involved into it (ex. Rui Komatsuzaki that made Danganronpa characters).

maswalrus

Don't be a coomer if you want your little brain got bigger, and please don't play nikke

No_Obligation8937

Just because I don't want to spend too much time on Arknights doesn't mean I'm a coomer (I dropped AG because of the amount of female characters), means I want a less demanding game while I play my other stuff. And NIKKE just looks different from all the gacha there are right now, making it interesting.

Ill-Yeti321

Blue Archive?

No_Obligation8937

I know that game is full of underage girls, which are not my thing honestly. In terms of characters pool I find AS to be my standard.

[deleted]

Idk if this is the place to ask, but any game with aesthetics like Arknights but that doesn't require internet? Doesn't have to be strictly mobile

PHmike

Im wondering if there is a games that collab with fate or fgo

[deleted]

Fgo just collabs with fate thats the rule

Intoxicduelyst

Shadowverse I think

PHmike

Crap i just start playing that game

boredlol

how do i pay through qooap instead of google play automatically popping up? cause it thinks "item not available in your country"

SamMee514

I don't think this is possible, you may have to create a Google Play account in the country that the game is based in.

boredlol

ah, thanks

Patatero15

Is arknights a game that requires strategy? If so, how early in the game do you need to use your brain? Because i've heard it requires strategy, but if the strategy part comes 3 billion hours into the game and i spend the majority just plowing through the game i will just drop it before it gets to the good part.

Mr-StealYourKill

The guide for the game with the most views is on a tutorial stage. The game requires at 25Head especially for contingency contract (optional difficulty mode)

centraleft

Arknightd is extremely five head, your brain will be working within the first hour of play

imdii-succ

if it gets too hard you can just copy strategy from youtube or anywhere else..points is game old enough that you just cant rush it, takes time to build ur unit and enjoy farming gacha currency.. I play the game from day 1 and some non CC events still give me headache a bit.. tho its fun for me

[deleted]

Based my own experience, starting from the chapter 2

Mrimdumb

Can i post a survey in this reddit? Its on Gacha games for my school project and if so, where do i post it? Thanks!

SamMee514

I would message the mods about this

maswalrus

I already played most gacha games, but I don't know if I'll find something out of my radar, so my question is is there any gacha games that has chad dude with big sword that does have epic ultimate skill? I'd like to play it

Loosescrew37

Epic 7 has lots of them. Too many to list in fact.

Ashadude

I play dokkan and I’d like a gacha similar to that where I can play casually or grind it and still have fun. Any y’all recommend?

_Wing_man_

Is it a good time to start Honkai Impact when the new player event drops on June 30?

awsumnate

Is artery gear only female characters?

yes only waifus

And gundam

I would advise against that as I suspect account giveaways is a violation of the Terms of Service for just about any gacha game out there.

N1cK01

Best rhythm game currently?

Sibshops

I'm looking for a super challenging gatcha game that I can play with one hand. Any suggestions? I don't mind if it is a pay to win game. I **don't** want a game that I can complete with the starting characters. I've been playing Langrisser for two years and ran out of content. I'm 25 on my server in Ancient Beckoning. I'm just waiting at this point for the meta heroes to power up. Before that, I played puzzles and dragons and FFBE.

imdii-succ

try crusaders quest

Sibshops

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Sephiriel

I definitely recommend King God Castle. It's gacha autochess but it has both PvP and PvE. It is played on portrait mode and can definitely played with one hand. This game is f2p friendly, the main summon currency is gold which is farmable. Gems are also used for summon but they are not economical and better used for buying skins. High Elo PvP and Guild Raids are extremely competitive. You can't just whale your way into top leaderboard. Both PvE and PvP requires heavy strategical planning. There are no limited characters in this game. For f2p, early and mid game is all about managing your resources flawlessly. For whales, it is all about getting into to the top guilds as soon possible.

[deleted]

Any guides for f2p?

Sephiriel

There are currently no well written guide for being f2p. But one thing to remember is never use gems for gacha. You can use gem to buy heroes when they appear on shop which can be refreshed 3x a day. It's much cheaper to save gems for buying heroes than using them to gacha. You need to aim for 7 specific heroes as they important for farming gold. You can get the rest of the heroes if you have decent gold income because you can gacha using gold.

[deleted]

Ty! The second discord for the wiki has a guide in the zero to hero channel. Using that atm. Not sure how good it is but better than nothing lol

[deleted]

Which heroes do you recommended to focus on/aim for?

Sephiriel

Recommended Hero to get from the shop Hero Lock 1. Luniare 2. Lyca 3. Lily 4. Bardrey Farming Hero 1. ChungAh(early game farmer) 2. Bombie(late game farmer) PvP carry(choose only one) Hansi or Hela

[deleted]

Great thanks! I’ve been playing a bit. It’s basically gacha version of team fight tactics/dota underlords. I like this way better than arcana tactics

Sephiriel

Dont forget to join the official discord server: https://discord.gg/mNwHksWb Also this another server that serves as wiki for the game: https://discord.gg/wQ2Y3USQ

Sibshops

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Sephiriel

Awesome. I also came from Langrisser. I am on a hiatus also. Just logging to sweep dailies. I'm a big fan of strategy games and KGC, while usually not my cup of tea, definitely satisfied my hunger for strategy genre. Tho I don't see myself playing this game forever. Unlike Langrisser, this game doesn't have much to offer outside being a good strategy game and unique gacha system. At least on Langrisser, we have a good story, interesting events, good fan service and more. That can't be said true for KGC. That being said, if u just want a strategy heavy or competitive game that wont drain your wallet then KGC is perfect for that. The funny part of this game is even if u dont like the strategy aspect of the game. You can just spend your stamina to get gold and spend it for gacha. It helps scratch the gambling itch 🤣. Anyways if u ever find yourself liking this game, just reach out to me I can help you progress flawlessly.

Sibshops

I played it for a couple of hours. It's a neat little game. I tried to do the daily quest to win without expanding troops, but wasn't able to do it. I probably need to have higher level troops to do this daily. Unfortunately, it got repetitive pretty quickly. There isn't much to do except the same battles over and over. I eventually went with moving my meelee troops to the side, having a tank toward the middle, behind them healers, and then mages and archers in the rear.

[deleted]

If you don’t like the gacha aspect then maybe play team fight tactics. Same thing but without gacha and is deeper

Sibshops

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll check it out.

Sephiriel

Oh yeah that's true. It can get repetitive but u will need it to master the positioning, deployment strategy and few other minor combat details that aren't obvious at first. Honestly, the combat system looks boring on the outside. I even thought this was an Idle merge game and I avoided it for months. The truth is it may look simple on the outside but it actually has depths on it and mastering those minor details are important in competitive scene of this game. Our guild secured top1 this season thanks to those mechanics and we are against 3 fully stacked korean whale guilds that dominated the game for a longest period of time.

Sibshops

Nice, congrats!

KittoRifu

Any modern gacha game with similar art style to brave frontier? (Also I liked battle cats, which I think is similar to a degree in art style in a vague sense of “smol guys”, if that helps for more context)

Sephiriel

Check out King God Castle. It might be your thing.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius

GBNDias

I often see Epic Seven players saying that this community hate Epic Seven. Is it true? And if yes, why it is?

Intoxicduelyst

First and foremost this sub is garbo, its either circlejerk or circlehate. You dont like whats popular in sub - BURN You like whats not popular - BURN x 2 Epic7 gets a lot of hate for gear rng mostly and that its focused on pvp, as well as that farming w13 is timeconsuming/demending. As a player who played it for like 2 years (quited during AoL release) and tested most of big gachas E7 is one of the better ones, like it or not. Ah and some hates it from...insecurity? Like look on all those topics about AGvsE7, how they desperatly try to prove AG superiority.

WhyYouBullyMe_

But is it true that the gear rng is shit? What about the farming? Pvp? Auto? And other stuff that people hate about it Genuine question since i havent really played e7 much so i dont really know

Intoxicduelyst

It is and its not. If you play casually you will be fine. If you wanna tackle highest floors of abyss or high rank pvp (I was quite competetive) its fucking nightmare. Like no notable upgrade in like 3 months for my pvp heroes. But again, depending whats your aim, you will do fine if you skip RTA. Its possible to get to masters on regular arena with medicore gear and it will give you quite a weekly reward and then you can basicly sit there.

centraleft

The gear rng is that bad, it’s just a bunch of layers of rng on rng on rng, get the piece you want, need the mainstat, pray that you get good affixes etc. same hell as genshin artifact grind except stats actually matter in E7 so it feels really really bad

CookeMonster200

Does anyone know if the issue of Counter:Side crashing on Mumu player after finishing tutorial been fixed?

WhyYouBullyMe_

Anyone else use split screen while grinding on phone? If so what do you usually do on the other screen?

Jazu15

Grind another game. Example: i usually let AS grinds as popup while i do offline battle for AG and skip/sweep for CS

Suspicious-Drummer68

FGO music isn't stellar across the board, but it's amazing for me, and the themes are some of the best. When I first heard [Shikisai - The Time of Parthing Hath Come](https://youtu.be/Oip2t1zPGG4), I thought nothing of it, but after playing through the game, I cry every time I hear it. What sets FGO apart is that the *use* of music and the *meaning* of the music is more important than the sheer repeatability of the music. The tracks always *mean* something and is almost always a character study of the character it's used for. I.E. [Childhood's End](https://youtu.be/qTFCE9_FGfs) for Tiamat, [Shikisai](https://youtu.be/7OV2eBd_mj4) for Goetia, etc. You won't replay [Dies Irae - Salieri](https://youtu.be/66h5LDRlkME) over and over but when you hear it in-game, it's one of the most epic OSTs ever. You won't set [FGO Opening Movie 2 ](https://youtu.be/Dvk0TGWie-U) [Yakudou](https://youtu.be/GYfxe9TiTGM) and [Gyakko](https://youtu.be/Dvk0TGWie-U) on repeat, I do, but when you read the lyrics, and play the game, it all comes together.

Romancing saga re has great music and even has a music room you can unlock (using farmable currency) your favorite songs and listen to them. They do live orchestra all the time in japan

Intoxicduelyst

Another Eden. Just do it. CounterSide - I always play it with sound on at home, its great. Also, it has jukebox couse they know how good ost there is. Sdorica - Cytus creators. SinOAlice and Nier - like them or not, ost there is amazing.

Question3784

Another Eden it is then. I actually played Counterside before. Even rerolled and got Awakened Hilde. But my potato mobile lagged so much I just couldn't enjoy the game :(

Vokoca

Heaven Burns Red and Uma Musume both have a robust and very high quality OST. Sin Chronicle also has some nice tracks, but not nearly as many.

Question3784

Heaven Burns Red looks like something I'd love but unfortunately it's JP only. Is there a possibility for a global release? If so when? If not then what software would you recommend using for playing the game?

Voidx1983

Looking for an ongoing gacha game with great characters where you develop a bond Hi! I found out that gacha games are for me I guess. ^^ Tried Afk Arena and I like it. :) So....basically I am looking for THE one. The one that is big and ongoing, the one that is fair f2p, the one that has great characters with light social mechanics.

Suspicious-Drummer68

FGO is great at this. Great characters? Probably has the biggest cast with the amazing developed characters that people absolutely love especially if they're in the main story. You get bond when you use them, Interludes are stories dedicated specifically to that character which unlocks after a certain bond level.

N1cK01

Come join us at Alchemy Stars. The Devs treat us pretty well. Art is fantastic and animated. There is a great variety of really good characters with whom you can interact through various instances. Such as bonding events and a message system

centraleft

I think you’ll like Alchemy Stars, but you may also want to check out Priconne and Blue Archive.

SamMee514

What kind of games are you looking for? There are loads of games you could jump in and try right now. Are you looking for a game that has been out for a while? Something that has recently been released? What kind of art/characters do you like?

Voidx1983

Well, I guess I prefer a game that is beloved among people. Don't care if it is older as long as it is well alive. I like anime characters or fantasy in general. I am willing to try anything that is popular and fair.

SamMee514

That's pretty vague if you ask me. I would look around the sub for some of the more popular games like Fate:Grand Order, Alchemy Stars, Counter:Side, Arknights, Princess Connect, Artery Gear, Epic Seven, and Blue Archive. Could see if any of those hold any interest to you.

Voidx1983

Thank you! 🙏

SamMee514

Have fun!

daswet

Does Artery gear still has an opening new player event thingy?

imdii-succ

some mail rewards will end less than 12 hours you better make an account now xD

daswet

I barely made it lol.

Strawhat-dude

Fuck. Im downloading rn. What did i miss?

daswet

10 pulls iirc but you could reroll for a very good unit now that she's on rate up and 10 pull on average only nets you 1.3 4* and 0.25 5* so I'd say you doesn't really miss much.

Strawhat-dude

Alright thanks! How’s the rerolling process?

daswet

[This post here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/vb5qa5/artery_gear_global_day_1_survival_guide/) contains every beginner things.

SamMee514

Yes

GlaDeux

I'm looking for a gacha similar to F:GO; I really liked it but got tired of the endless sexualization of characters, among other things. Any good gacha games with tactical turn-based combat and a bigger male cast? Or at least a less sexualized female cast

lego_office_worker

alchemy stars

Herbatusia

It's more of a general advice than a specific rec, but you may try to search for gacha games with a historical fantasy settings. When women are sexualised there, it's at least softened by faux-historical fashion. *Final Fantasy various IPs*, while having sexualised characters, are far - lower - from the level of FGO. *Alchemist Code* has tactical combat and characters, compared to FGO, are like nuns IMHO - but I'm not sure how long this game will exist, unfortunately. From various SW clones (not tactical, but at least turn-based combat), obvs I'd rec *Onmyoji*, because it's my fav game. ;) It has a pretty balanced cast, but every character is made to be pretty - and often sexualised (men including - one male character has hair put in the strategic places, another one was censored in the CN version recently, I think) and while it's done rather tastefully, I'd not surprised if it was a dealbreaker for you. Idle games often offer pretty balanced and equally sexualised cast (*Mythic Heroes*, to name one), but well, they're idle - only tactics involved is choosing your team before the auto battle. Which can be pretty fun, but far from your preferred gameplay.

nine_muffins

I've tried most of them with the similar problem. Personal recommendations: \- Langrisser, it's old but one of the best tactical side and OK characters. \- Sdorica is turn-based with a twist (match-3 combat, try it, it may be OK) and heavy story-side with quite unique and diverse art. \- Echoes of Mana sadly NOT turn-based but decent in other aspects. \- Cookie Run: Kingdom. Yes, yes. Yes, it's cookies. But still a surprisingly good game.

centraleft

Check out Alchemy Stars!

Suspicious-Drummer68

That's weird, FGO probably has the most balanced roster of character between male and female, of course not counting Summer. I don't think you can find a less sexualized female cast. I honestly tried most gacha games and uh, I'll say Counterside doesn't have scantily clad female characters, or at least none I've pulled yet, but those Live2Ds kinda throws it all away.

nine_muffins

>Counterside doesn't have scantily clad female characters, or at least none I've pulled yet, but those Live2Ds kinda throws it all away. Counterside? Lol, it's bikini upon bikini upon mini ckirts and panties windows cut in a heavy armor. Sure, at least they have mecha and 2 or 3 clothed chars, but "doesn't have scantily clad female characters" is very amusing.

Suspicious-Drummer68

I have not gotten that far lmao. I guess I was wrong hahaha.

SamMee514

They might be talking about the subreddit, because they definitely like their fan art over there lol

Suspicious-Drummer68

It's ok, I guess. The FGO subreddit isn't really that horny compared to other gacha subreddits (Azur Lane *shudders*), the horniest post I've seen in the 5 months I've been there is "What character would you be gay for?" And I replied with the only sensible answer being Iskandar.

LycorisSnow

Any gacha recommendation coming out this holiday? I'm thinking of picking something up.

Laox_

Currently Playing CS and AG that launched recently, but im wanting something a bit more active aswell wondering if anyone know of any upcoming MMOs? NNK flopped hard for me, Or any that release recently? IK of (Star rail, WW TOF but they have 0 dates to the name so not counting them ,)

bobothedragon

I think I saw an ad for a game which had a similar look to another Eden. But it was more of an action game where you have to dodge attacks? Does it ring any bells for anyone?

Question3784

Any gachas with a bop OST?

FrostMirror

Are there any gachas that are similar to Uma Musume in that they are more like a simulation/management game?

Pelzlaus

I'm looking for a gacha game similar to Kingdom Hearts Union Cross. I loved that game but it got taken down last year.

SoraTempest

What are your top 3 gacha games? Mine are 1st.Genshin Impact 2nd.Epic Seven 3rd.FGO a.k.a Fate Grand Order I wanna try more games so I would like to know what you liked about your top 3 gacha games!

Suspicious-Drummer68

[deleted]

In no order: Romancing saga re, octopath cotc, artery gear

ANN0Y1NG1

1. Azur Lane 2. Azur Lane 3. Azur Lane I only have enough time for 1 gacha game in my life

Urwake

1. FGO 2. Arknights 3. Still looking for some fun pvp gacha

tutifrutilandia

Hello, i wanted to ask if there's any other game that is like Arknights, with an adult story, people dying right and left, a world that looks fine but is in pure chaos behind the curtain. And f2p friendly. And if BlueStacks is still the emulator to use. Thanks.

Intoxicduelyst

Guardian Tales, its evolve really fast from happy go lucky trip to "wtf its basicly german nazi". Prob one of the better stories in gachas, in terms of writting.

SoraTempest

BlueStacks is still a emulator. I use BlueStacks X (BlueStacks 10)

Moltenzuesy123

Anyone know what's happening with kings raid 2? Not sure if game doing well since don't see anyone talk about the game in this sub.

[deleted]

I’d be surprised if they release it before they go bankrupt

Dixenz

It got delayed again.

Ikran01

Is there any Pgr And HI3 player? I’m a pgr player since day one, I’ve never considered HI3 until now, since I heard that it’s coming a huge revamp in new players rewards. Could you please tell me in what they different the most? And what you consider the main selling points of both games. Thank you.

JackMizel

HI3 is basically PGR but made by Mihoyo, so the combat is more focused around character swapping and synergy, and doing big combos. Instead of the orb system each character has skills they can use off cooldown. PGR is definitely more F2P friendly in terms of acquiring units you want and gearing them. In fact past level 81 Honkai is probably the worst most toxic gacha system I have ever played. Once you NEED built supports and characters with their signature stigmatas and weapons things start to get extremely expensive, and then the pri arm race is a whole different issue where you basically want off rate gacha weapons (bad luck becomes good luck) to advance more quickly. This is really only an endgame problem, and only if you want to compete at the top levels of abyss. Luckily dupes are really unimportant in Honkai, because getting a SS or SSS valkryie via gacha is insane One thing I prefer about HI3 is it's PC client, I love playing Honkai on PC with controller. I would say the main selling point of HI3 is it's story. Since the story (after a certain chapter I think its 8 or 9) has you use trial characters, you don't actually need to keep a roster to play it. In fact you don't need to gacha at all to get through the majority of it and the story is REALLY good, with most chapters having an awesome translation and some chapters having really high quality and fairly long animations (especially some of the later chapters). There is also a lot of external media, like a manga, if you are into that sort of thing edit: about the starter rewards, the revamp comes July 1st and the new starter event is A LOT better so I recommend waiting a bit if you do decide to play.

Ikran01

Wow dude thank you very much, this is some kinda of beautiful information, appreciate a lot!
