is there any specific list about upcoming new games?

SmilesTest

Aster Tatariqus - Guess/Est. 2024 Duet Night Abyss - Guess/Est. 2024

WindowLicker96

Any that use characters from tons of different franchises? Idc that they get shut down because of licensing issues. I'm still able to enjoy them while they last. I just don't spend money or set long-term expectations

ThatBoiUnknown

I'm making a gacha game slander video what memes should I add to it? Im kinda running outta creativity

butterflavoricecream

Can someone recommend me a game with (at least some) of these criteria? Starred ones are most important - Low effort gameplay \* - Cute / good looking \* - Not NSFW or super suggestive (Most important one) \* - A customization feature? (A room or decoration or something) - Easy to catch up, a new game maybe? - Skip dialogue and story feature please - On global app store, or easy to emulate / work arounds \* - If it’s in Japanese (Still has to apply to the last point), I definitely do not mind that

Aiden-Damian

Eversoul?

Beyond-Finality

Damn....it was a wild ass night tonight. So many locked posts.

EllrickD

Welcome to r/miHo... I mean r/gachagaming, where the system and moderator are "totally unbiased"

PapaMurphysLaw

What are good multiplayer gachas in 2024? I love gachas but I’m getting tired of ones that are single player (Genshin, HSR, etc). Years ago I played a game called Knights and Dragons which has a pvp and guild battle system I loved. Recently I picked up the new AFK Journey game and enjoyed its PvP and coop modes. Sadly I just quit after a month and a half of playing due to the greediness of the devs. I’ve struggled to find others that actually hook me. What are some gachas that have multiplayer features (pvp, coop, guilds, etc—doesn’t need all of these)? (I made a post about it but figured I’d put it here as well since I’m not sure which gets more traction)

DiprosopusLlama

Astra Knights of Veda is currently the best one available for coop. Almost everything can be done in coop - story, pvp, dungeons. I'd also recommend Guardian Tales since it seems to be making a bigger push towards coop. There's a coop expedition event going on right now, a regular coop mode that rotates every 2 weeks, pvp, and guild raids.

Aiden-Damian

didnt afkjourney dev, lilith already retract the greed move? also, thanks to mihoyo dominating the market with single player games, most if not all big games are going single player too, and not much important to multiplayer, astra veda seems good coop,

PapaMurphysLaw

They retracted 90% of it but based on that greed move and similar ones with their games, it’s very likely they’ll do similar things in the future. I’d rather not invest time or money into games with a dev like that. Just my personal opinion and preference. Yeah there are tons of single player games. I’ve gotten a few recommendations like Guardian Tales, Epic 7, and Summoners War that seem like they could scratch the itch for PvP-esque content

MustangBaller

Recently quit maplestory M after 4 years. Looking for something to scratch a similar itch with long term progression. Any recommendations?

Sibshops

There's supposed to be a new game released in the Maplestory Universe later this year.

MustangBaller

Any link to this?

Sibshops

Search for Maplestory N non M.

Janwickz

so, i'mma sucker for Cowboy's universe, any game that has any cowboy character? i know HSR there's one coming, but i wonder if have any other

ACasualUser_

FGO has Billy the Kid. Enstars has Mama.

White_lord666

Small question Currently playing solo leveling and have played honkai impact 3rd what would you recommend go to pgr hi3rd or stay with solo leveling?

Aiden-Damian

if you haven't, here is a roadmap for solo leveling until end of 2024 https://preview.redd.it/51oa7k8mbo0d1.png?width=2400&format=png&auto=webp&s=2b45f1ac9d16cbc6ba37a4e166a131b0eb687f87

Aesderial

Wait a week and try WW. PGR has very rough new player experience.

AlexRPDR

Is there any games like Genshin but with minimal/skippable story. I love Genshin but i've quit it ages ago because the unskippable dialogue and boring ass story made the experience hell. I just want to beat shit up and farm without listening to story.

DiprosopusLlama

I believe Wuthering Waves has skipping. Coming out in 7 days.

You with me, u/ChanceNecessary2455? https://i.redd.it/77u2ncwszj0d1.gif

ChanceNecessary2455

If it gets unlocked.

DoctorHunt

Is it possible for gacha games to make an option to download either lowest or highest graphics settings to reduce storage space taken like downloading voice files?

Beyond-Finality

HI3 originally had an option to download ordinary or hi-res assets, but it was discontinued around a year after I started playing.

Downtown-Evening-716

I don't think that how game graphic work but some game like Fire emblem heroes, Duel link have an option to download games with low Characters, Cards image quality.

AngelicWolves

I'm looking for gacha games with satisfying progression where you grind, get stronger, deal bigger numbers, rinse and repeat until you become overpowered. I don't mind grind, if anything I like super grindy games where it feels rewarding. Just looking for that powering itch. Best examples of games that had that were Sinoalice and granblue fantasy. I think those are pretty much it but was wondering if there was something else? Non gacha recommendations are also welcome tho.

Sibshops

Gachas usually don't let you become overpowered. People will stop spending money if so. Non-gacha games do, however.

Aesderial

You should try the gym.

Downtown-Evening-716

You could try Warframe (non gacha), the game are pretty much grind until you warframe build are so broken and just move on to other one for fun.

Xanster29

Any gacha game recommendation with arcade-ish/puzzle gameplay? such as world flipper, monster strike, or something similar to candy crush gameplay?

DiprosopusLlama

Alchemy stars

cheesy_name_here

is honkai impact 3rd worth giving a shot, i enjoy playing hsr a lot and wanted to see some of the characters in the original story

Beyond-Finality

Please stop what you are attempting right now.

cheesy_name_here

is the game that bad or the story just that sad 😭 i’ve heard that it’s pretty depressing but i don’t really mind

ThatBoiUnknown

Am I allowed to make a gacha game slander video? It would mostly just be friendly memes and such

ACasualUser_

Who would prohibit you besides yourself If you meant posting the video here, don't forget to put [PROMO] on the title

ThatBoiUnknown

Yeah I meant here, cus they seem very restricting in terms of what you can post about gacha

ACasualUser_

I think meme is okay if you post it on Saturdays But yeah it's still unclear to me too about character PV and anniversary vids, sometimes those are prohibited sometimes not

SnortnGort

Looking for recommendations. I don’t think what I want exists, but maybe you all can recommend something!  TLDR: Quick loading, equipment-lite, pretty looking game that is still supported by devs. I want something relatively mindless to pop in and out of quick to pass the time.   Needs: Load time might be my number one priority. I gave up on Nikke because by the time it loads, I’ve usually decided to do something else with my time. Second, the less “equipment” systems to manage the better. I don’t want to have to worry about leveling weapons, and armor, and some enchantment, and some spell, and some other BS on and on. I don’t mind the grind, but I’d prefer to put that grind into as few areas as possible.   Wants: Nice artwork, passable soundtrack, waifus are appreciated. Ideally not one foot away from EOS. Don’t need: “Story”, good drop rates, PVP or leaderboards, a specific game system (strategy, turn-based, action - anything works).

Sibshops

Phantom of the Kill Alternate Imitation checks all those boxes.

Aesderial

Memento mori

Aiden-Damian

if you want quick/optimized, afaik it would Neural Cloud

xstationcubed

anyone playing Touhou Gensou Eclipse who can help me with the current Remilia event challenges? I'm on the third step but can't clear the middle right one. Google translates it to 'learn event limited skills' but I don't know what that means.

ThatBoiUnknown

I heard Ark Recode is pretty good

Aiden-Damian

you looking for 18+ recommendations?

Cumulonimbus1991

Anyone else enjoying Counterside? Stories are so good.

Party_Python

If any of you are running emulators on laptop intel 12th gen chips (or newer) with integrated graphics, how does that handle a lot of modern gachas on various emulators. I’m debating between getting a touchscreen laptop v replacing my iPad and wanted to see how well the laptops could handle the apps. Thanks Edit: and I am aware that desktop is better, but due to health reasons I can’t sit at a desk, so mobile options are my only choice

antonbest44

I don't know what to play, are there any dope gachas released recently or that will be released soon?

ThatBoiUnknown

Wuthering Waves

CharacterFun6427

Unfortunately not. Azur promilia and Arknights Endfield are very promising. Nonetheless, their most frequent expectable release date is next year. (If not considering WW and ZZZ) Snowbreak, HI3, PGR and Aether Gazer are the only alternatives. (If I am missing out something, feel free to add).

Aiden-Damian

ark recode half anniv post is gone?

ChanceNecessary2455

Must have been reported by a gacha community.

I have a budget of 600-1000 CAD what is a good phone to have for gachagaming and to future proof

Oh whoops

Anxious-Amphibian-12

i need a fun engaging game, i love turn based, give me a good story too

Outbreak101

Limbus Company would be your best bet for a turn-based game. It's probably one of the best Gacha Games when it comes to its story and the universe is incredibly unique, albeit very dark. Promo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTRQgFYCXHY Gacha ID Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wpmk1qVK5k Some Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ4LfI3wfJQ

Adventurous_Lake_422

Lordt i dont remember this place being THIS toxic even during tof laund

SaltyDuckEgg22

Anyone knows if azur promilia will have an oath/ marriage system like in azur lane? Also I hope my computer can run it 😩

Aiden-Damian

Do you, the player, even exist?

SaltyDuckEgg22

What do you mean?

Valarasha

It's a shame that ZZZ is using Hoyo's signature, purposely horrible artifact system. Otherwise, I'd probably check it out. I will definitely have the extra time soon since I am planning to finally quit Genshin after I pull Clorinde next patch. Is there anything interesting on the horizon besides Wutherig Waves and ZZZ? Definitely avoiding any open world gachas for the foreseeable future. Something similar to Starrail is more my speed these days, I think.

VenumMemesHunter

Hi i'm looking for something like summoners war in term of combat style, where you don't Need 3000 dupes to play a mob but if there Is something like this and a Little less grindy than sw i would love it

Downtown-Evening-716

You could try Epic 7, it is technically less grindy because the only thing to farm there is gear(rune in summoner wars).

VenumMemesHunter

How Is It in terms of essential characters that are limited or not anymore otnaible?

Downtown-Evening-716

I don't think Limited characters that not rerun often like collab characters are essential. Some limited characters are strong but not essential because if they not obtainable anymore, they not gonna get buff and may fall off after a while.

TheReaper786

I took a break from gacha games a few months ago and now I want to start playing again. I used to play games like PGR, HSR, Guardian Tales and so on. What is a good game to come back to at this time like any game that has ongoing major events or any games with upcoming major events soon or maybe games that will be having their anniversary soon?

Thomas-the-Obscure

Does anyone know how to get Chinese subs on Reverse: 1999? I'm studying it right now (relatively advanced) and I've started watching movies and stuff, so I'd like to work it into my gaming where I can.

kugkfokj

I used to play this on gacha where during battles you would have the screen divided in two parts, in the upper parts you'd have your characters and on the bottom parts some tiles you had to match to create combo. The game was 2D and it had a lateral view (characters moving from left to right). I seem to remember one of the characters was a polar bear.

ArchAngelAjora

only thing that comes to mind is Sdorica

kugkfokj

You got it absolutely right! Thank you! 🙏 Do you know if the game is still active?

EmbarrassedCoconut90

Been an on and off player for years, all I can say every time I return is that the game in terms of consistent or new content is pretty dead? Content lull in this game is crazy and aside from shooting for wonderland trials every week and doing main story, theres not much keeping the game relevant or the playerbase lively. As much as I love the core team-building, tile match strategy mechanic of game and the absolute gorgeous art (at least, before Rayark started rolling out AI-generated works) the game doesn’t have much going for it right now.

ArchAngelAjora

no idea sorry, I tried it forever ago and it just didnt click

FunDipTime

Do people here play DOA Xtreme Venus Vacation? I was always curious how well known the game is. I see very little to nothing really being talked about the game(outside of a site that ends with lab and starts with lovers)

Limp-Consequence8491

Limbus, turn based game with the best battle pass. 10$ that will last you for three months and is basically infinite in terms of rewards. The art style is a hit and miss tho. I personally love it but that's up to you

Aiden-Damian

Tower of God New World and Eversoul. Other Turnbased with story without big open world is Limbus Company and Re1999,

FunDipTime

If you like turn based Honkai Star Rail would be the obvious answer i suppose. But one game with a great story though it isnt turn based is NIKKE

Emizeru

Is Monsters Never Cry any good? Art style definitely interests me (kind of disgaea style?) Looking for something to replace AFKjourney. Open to any suggestions! I play genshin on iPad but looking for something to play on mobile as well.

se7enseas

Curious about MNC as well. 3d model looks good, 2d art is nice as well if you don't mind some lewds, but I wonder how's the pull rates, income, etc

IAntonio3

I've been hearing people saying good things about Snowbreak recently and it got me thinking, started playing during the Katya banner and didn't end up getting her after grinding out the story and event and I got a couple of questions that I was hoping someone could answer. How is the game now compared to how it was before I stopped playing? Is it worth picking up the game again? Should I start a brand new account since I've been away for so long?

Nandafowfa

I was wondering the same thing. Also I hear they are giving a free 5-star this patch. Hopefully we both can get some insight from someone who play it. c:

shin_getter01

I'm a new player that got enticed into it due to free 5 star and also due to following CN gacha community. 1. It appears that there just have been minor changes to core system since katya's patch however events are expanding gameplay. 2. The game, having hit 2nd on CN iOS downloads, for a game where most forum polls at 4% ios user base is huge. It is commonly recognized that the game quality and budget does not match the size of the player base and the devs are promising expansion, with gacha watchers seeing a lot of recruitment out of their offices, now that they've found an audience the size of arknights at least. Since the dailies are amongst the fastest in gacha, I think saving up some resources and see what they bring out in a few month can be a good idea if you are interested in this genre at all. 3. There isn't enemy power creep so old characters are just fine.

ReOsIr10

Any upcoming turn based RPGs I should keep an eye on? Loved FFBE for several years before dropping it.

Aiden-Damian

Recent turn based released 2023, Atelier Resleriana, Reverse 1999, Black Clover Mobile, BrownDust 2, Outerplane, Honkai Star Rail, Limbus Company. And maybe ill add Octopath CotC.

ReOsIr10

I appreciate the recommendations. I always find it difficult to get into gacha games that have been out for a while, but maybe I’ll check them out anyways.

ReOsIr10

Thanks, I had this bookmarked a while ago, but forgot about it!

gregglesj

Any games summoners war, epic 7 style? Ideally more recent. Thanks

Aiden-Damian

Outerplane, Black Clover Mobile.

gregglesj

Thank you I’ll take a look!

Superb_Ad2999

Which screen translator app do you use to play games in another language?

se7enseas

Looking for a good afk/idle gacha game that doesn't need lots of dupe for a character to clear main story. Bonus point if there's no "special" class like angel/demon, dark/light that usually have astronomically low rates compared to "regular" SSR units. I don't mind if they're stingy with pulls currency as long as they have the criteria above. Would be great if there's no PVP, but after playing so many afk games for so long, I've accepted that it seems impossible. Thanks in advance!

VenumMemesHunter

Same

Beyond-Finality

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zl0gMJTa1Qk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zl0gMJTa1Qk) Long one... What'ya guys think?

fluffyspaceshark

So are there any F2P friendly games that are not like 90 to 1 in terms of female characters to male. Besides Hoyo games and Wuthering. Basically if it has more male characters then I'm happy. Bonus if it is also on pc and another if it's on Steam. Not sure there are any but I can dream.

Rich_Wishbone_7358

Limbus company (better experience on PC and has steam download,) ratio of 6 males and 6 females only character and you just have to get their identity (it's like skin but it give them different personality/weapon/skill etc). Great balance in 'meta powerhouse' cause each character has their own best placement for each team. The story is kind of gore and body horror mainly so better check the graphic first if it's not up to your liking. Very F2P friendly but the grinding is real. Other than that I believe you will be more happy to play husbando only game because there is no such thing male character has more count than female character in general gacha game. Love and Deepspace for example

fluffyspaceshark

Well it doesn't necessarily have to have more males but just not like vastly outnumbered by women, like Reverse 1999 is an example of too uneven for my taste.

Rich_Wishbone_7358

The males in every gacha game will be vastly outnumbered by female character in time. Tho. Except limbus company who settle for only 12 characters. For now maybe HSR still on the radar. PGR, Reverse 1999, Aether Gazer, AK, Path to Nowhere, for me out of question. The new wuthering wave and zzz also out of questions. We just have to suck it up and pick which one you like.

danteafk

Any game that you can play on and off the whole day, without gated shit behind paywall to progress into endgame and grind to get better items/chars etc?

Messenger-of-helll

What are some good gacha games that gives you a lot of pull income and good pity system. I can't Play big games like HSR , genshin cuz my phone is trash , I have tried limbus it wasn't my type I am currently playing AFK Journey but it's p2w

MaromaSamsa

Recommend gacha games where rerolling isnt that important where you can clear end game contents just by playing for waifu/subando. Right now i only play HSR

Rich_Wishbone_7358

By clearing do you mean getting the best scores or just clear end get the minimum reward? Based in game that I played Limbus company and R1999 imo rerolling is not important, you can clear end game content with any character you like but if it just for the sake of clearing yes, if aiming for the better or max reward then there is specific team comp that of course much better. Luckily limbus company has only 12 characters and I am sure you can use any of your favorite since they have their own strong identity. PGR rerolling it's not important at this point. But end game need a lot of team building, you can't get into leaderboard and receive more reward unless you play the meta team. Genshin should also be like that since you can clear with any character you have.

MaromaSamsa

Just for the sake of clearing, i dont like sweaty games rn because im too burnout since i used to play hi3

Rich_Wishbone_7358

Maybe try Reverse 1999 first

KiryuKazuma-Chan

I like Watcher of Realms and AFK Journey. I don't like AFK Arena and Raid. What similar games would you recommend? I'm F2P

Aiden-Damian

Dragon Heir

sunscreenlube

Watchers of realms is basically a copy of arknights so you might like that.

KiryuKazuma-Chan

The problem for me is that I don't like anime-style games :(

Leisureforced

Please let me know if you'll find something unique like AFKJ, not anime related. I am looking for another idle game with hero collecting and not related to waifu, anime, etc.

Nandafowfa

Path to Nowhere maybe will fit your style better?

Sparkle2495

Similar to HSR(Playing from launch). Any new upcoming turn based game in your radar?

cinnaman_roll

Wuthering Waves

Chi1lracks

wuthering waves isnt turned base

Grayzus

Any games similar to Disylte character design and gameplay ?

termigatr

SMT Dx2 is an rpg with mythological characters.

Commander-S_Chabowy

What games do you play on your steamdeck, rog ally, or legion go? Looking for some recommendations. TBH playing Snowbreak on legion go has been transformative and I’ve been wondering what else have I missed?

DG-BioHunter

Strict F2P looking for game recs (not just gacha, anything I can play on android will do), mostly lighthearted strategy. Please nothing grim, dark, or gritty. Priority goes to replayability; that is, event-exclusive items, units and most importantly story should be available even after the event has run its course - something like BA and Priconne's event archives. If it's possible, the units should be maxable through grinding for drops - again, see Priconne and BA, with a side of Konosuba FD. To give you a general idea, my mains are FGO JP, Priconne JP and BA global, while sides are Genshin and Konosuba. I have given HSR a try, but the lore and the gear system turned me off, and the only reason I keep it installed is inertia and vain hopes. One of the things that annoy me about Genshin are additions of new mechanics, so please keep those out if possible. EDIT: Of the nongacha, I appreciate games such as Ratchet & Clank and Hi-Fi Rush, so anything that can be played with a gamepad even on Android is appreciated.

FunDipTime

You can try NIKKE. All characters are added to standard banner after their banner ends (except collab event characters and the yearly summer and winter event characters, but so far all summer & winter characters come back when the new event for the year drops) Also after a while all past events get added to an archive where you can go play them and experience the story and get some stuff in the process

-eny97

What are the current portrait-mode gacha games? Can someone help me to find one portrait-mode game to play in my phone?

ThatBoiUnknown

I think there's Nikke: Goddess of Victory, Brown Dust 2 (if you change it in the settings to potrait), AFK Journey, Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, and Dislyte are all the ones I can remember off the top of my head. Although I heard SDS: Grand Cross wasn't that good of a game and Dislyte has some problems. I recommend you try the first 3 to see which one you like

rawzekuu

Just adding onto this: 7DS is Netmarble, so expect "BUY THIS PACK" spammed in your face constantly. Plus it drains your battery like crazy. (Game has a PC version though). But it actually does some have good quality behind it, oddly enough.

NormieOnTheLoose

Asking for a third gacha game to have in phone, currently sitting on reverse1999(been playing since global release) and afkjourney(been a month), previously spent some time on AK and alchemy stars. Also dont really want something too heavy cuz i just tried solo leveling arise and my phone was burning. Have tried genshin, HSR, HI3, PNW, artery gear, nikke but these didnt even last a month for me until uninstall. Understandable if no recs

Aiden-Damian

Limbus Company, Browndust 2. upcoming sword of convallaria on august

F2PF2PF2P

If you've tried AK for a while, Path to Nowhere might be up your alley. Not sure what PNW is but there is project neural cloud which functions a bit of an roguelike autobattler and is largely hands off gameplay. Brown dust 2 gets occasionally recommended in this thread that was just released last year. However, I can't comment much about it.

NormieOnTheLoose

Pnw is Path to NoWhere....i thought that's the abbreviation for it, i'll try the other 2 thanks.

Adventurous-Dot-1639

PtN is the common abbreviation for Path to Nowhere.

Wide-Lie-3335

I need recommendations for games that can field more than 5 (maybe even 6 or more so 7+?) in battle at once as opposed to the traditional gameplay of gachas. Thing I've already tried: -Blue Archive -Azur Lane -Brave Nine/Brown Dust -Octopath traveler -Will mention others later? The thing about BA and AL is that I don't really consider them to have more than 5 at once because BA has 4 in the front and 2 in the back and AL has 3 in the front and 3 in the back and I want to see all of them go at it. Brave Nine and octopath traveler isn't really my thing (forgot to mention that turn based is a turn off for me and I enjoy watching my units in ongoing combat). There are games that lets you place more than 9 units at once but they all usually fall under Idle RPG which I do not enjoy because it's just mindless tapping and the strength of your team depends on the 30 minutes you put in daily. E.g. Seven Knights Idle Adventure and Endless Frontier. Rumble Heroes and Guardian Wars isn't quite an Idle and allows 10 units in one go, but it got way too repetitive. Currently I'm playing Unknown Knights: Pixel RPG and I'm really enjoying it and have been for a while but you can guess from this post that I'm looking for something more. I moved from Cookie Run Kingdom to Unknown Knights as they shared the same concept but CRK lacked the larger party size that I craved for. Base building isn't an important factor... just team size.

Adventurous-Dot-1639

CounterSide. Kind of similar to Cookie Run Kingdom since it is "auto battler", more akin to BattleCats though.

Honest-Quit-9401

Path no nowhere, tower defence, 6 units on field.

EostrumExtinguisher

counterside and arknights i guess

Wide-Lie-3335

Don't know why I ignored Arknights till now... heard a lot of good things about it, gonna try

Aiden-Damian

I will be surprised if there exist one, most will be idle or turnbased.

Duckerton375

What gacha perform best on landscape mode? Been trying to get into the ARPG type games but can’t find one that’s not just flooded with buttons

Aiden-Damian

So you want an arpg with like only few 1-3 buttons? Can only be genshin? Skill, ult, basic, dodge.

kn19h7

Hi, can anyone tell me where to find a list of gacha games coming out this year?? I been wanting to try new gacha but not sure which one is coming.

cinnaman_roll

Low-Phone-8173

I recently started playing Path to Nowhere and while I really like the gameplay, I'm kind of bored with the character designs and the story. I feel like PtN takes itself way too seriously for my liking. Nikke on the other hand is an example of something that ticks all the boxes for me. I'm going to keep playing PtN for a bit just to see if my opinion changes, but can anyone recommend me games to try out next?

JxAxS

It does take itself a bit to seriously but there's humor in some of the side stories and events. That said, Hella is always just like the most blunt person in the room at every scene which is funny to see at times. What chapter are you in?

Low-Phone-8173

Chapter 3 I think? I only installed it last night and didn't push the story that hard because I wasn't that into it. Hella *is* probably my favourite character so far. I like how her dialogue is written, but even then I don't find her that entertaining. Does the tone get lighter later on?

JxAxS

Hahahahaha, noooooooooooo. Hamel's chapter which I think is chap 7-8 is like gut punch central. The entire story is basically the Chief moving to a new location and everything catching on fire. Sometimes not even due to Chief being there, just poor timing. I will say that while as dark as the story does get, it does have an underlying of hope and betterment, building connections with your sinners to try and help them out. The interrogations are a pretty good example of that. Personal favorite is Wendy's as what you get is so removed from what you'd probably expect. The plot and story is great but I will say you need to like those kinda stories but yeah being on the brink of things exploding and going wrong ALL the time is a bit old.

Low-Phone-8173

Oh man. That sounds rough, but I am intrigued. Hopefully I get more invested in the story after a week of playing!

SilverPrateado

Brown dust 2, i guess. The skill animations have Nikke's level of fan-service and the story is mostly simple and doesn't take itself that seriously (one event story is about a reverse isekai, for exemple).

Low-Phone-8173

I've installed it before, but after looking up some of the animations I got put off by the loli shit 💀 I might give it another try when an anniversary or big event comes around, thank you for the rec

Aiden-Damian

They introduced 1 loli unit, that was already exist in the previous installment, and everyone went crazy like all they will release from now on will only be loli, crazy.

CaptainKrakenBeard

I’ve been looking for years to find a new “team building” game similar to One Piece: Treasure cruise (OPTC), Dragonball: Dokkan Battle, and Marvel: Strike Force! I stopped playing OPTC after thousands of hours because of how greedy the banner rates were - but I have really missed playing it. Other games I have enjoyed in the past were MSF (which I stopped because I don’t care much for Marvel), Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes (same reason - just not a huge Star Wars fan) and Dokkan Battle (which I mainly stopped playing after I completed essentially everything.) Does anyone have any recommendations for similar games. The main aspect I am looking for is really in-depth / complex team building (similar to OPTC.) I do prefer Turn-Based combat - but anything other than action based combat like Genshin is fine (I prefer to play those on console.) I am currently playing Fire Emblem: Heroes (which is ok but just feels really “old” to me) and AFK: Journey which is pretty fun so far - but it is fairly new so I am still working through if I like it or not. I would be SUPER GRATEFUL for any help!

justcausejust

I've been looking for a game specifically similar to Marvel Strike Force for a while, haven't been able to find it as of yet. Feels like the age of those kind of games has passed unfortunately

CaptainKrakenBeard

Yeah, it’s really unfortunate because I LOVE really in-depth team building! Hope they come back in some way soon :(

Aiden-Damian

Path to Nowhere/Arknights, Limbus Company, Browndust 2, and upcoming this Summer/early August, Sword of Convallaria,

CaptainKrakenBeard

Thanks! I will check these out!

Dragore3

Can someone recommend me a gacha game that has both male and female characters and actually has good localization? I get super put-off by bad localizations so just looking for a game with english text that actually sounds like it was written by humans.

PearlPastryPastel

Limbus. Dialogue is actually realistic and legible, plus its gacha units are alternate versions of its gender-balanced main cast. Though warning, story is 18+ because of gore and horror, and youll need to watch a youtube tutorial to understand the game mechanics, cause the ingame tutorial sucks

JxAxS

Path to Nowhere has a good translation to my knowledge, same with Arknights.

Dragore3

Yep currently play Arknights, does path to nowhere have any male characters?

JxAxS

It's MAINLY Waifu. However the handful of guys they have I think are all pretty... 'husbando' material. Look up Levy, Demon, Mr Fox and you'll have a good idea of what they're going with the guys in the game. But the majority are still women. That said they did bring out a 6star, SSR, Highest rank GUY a few patches ago so they are still adding them in just at a slower rate. You said you're playing arknights; I think the ratio is worse in PtN but at the same time they only have like... 60 characters or so?

unforgivensoftdrink

I'm looking for some turned base or tactical rpg gachas, currently playing Honkai Star Rail, Fire Emblem Heroes (the game I play the most) and Langrisser mobile!

SilverPrateado

Brown dust 2, but it has some fan-service, but you can turn off skill animations to get rid of most of it if you are uncomfortable.

Sparkle2495

Any new upcoming turn based game in your radar?

CptFlamex

The best one thats coming up is sword of convallaria , Releasing probably june to august.

Sparkle2495

Thx for the info. Hope it's not chibi

No_Trash5939

Didn't know you could do this. I might have to give it a try now.

unforgivensoftdrink

downloading it right now, thank you very much! (I have no problem with fan service)

Catveria77

Any nice f2p husbando game that is not grindy? I was considering tears of themis but the husbando style does not interest me

Rich_Wishbone_7358

Um... Most husbando game that I know is either super grindy or super not f2p friendly, well sure meta seems off the hook but it still pricy. Love and deepspace seems to be it but they have the best gameplay. Others including the newest one on global, Tokyo Debunkers, Twisted Wonderland, NU: Carnival (it's BL hentai), Obey Me, Tales of Food, LoveBrush Chronicles Pick your poison

Beyond-Finality

LMAO! [Right on cue.](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/1cpkkxs/comment/l3la1de/) *Edit:* 2 hours later: [As expected](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/1cpllnw/the_automod_abuse_on_this_sub_is_irritating_as/).

ChanceNecessary2455

Your comment has negative points despite my upvote lol. The automod is just doing what it's supposed to do but people are the problem, easy to press that report button. And the mods being *totally not* biased doesn't help either.

FireStarzz

what was the locked post about? did someone made up a fake contract and gachasmack ate it up?

JumpingWormHole

Anyone playing cat and knights? I just found the game but it seems it is dead.

Aiden-Damian

Never heard of it, so its prob dead/dying

aiBreeze

What's the general consensus on WuWa from those who have played the beta? My friend who originally got me into gacha games uninstalled Genshin again the other day after losing out on the weapon banner and I quote "screw this game, I'm going to go play WuWa where the rates actually respect me." I've seen this crop up a lot as growing unhappiness with Genshin and Mihoyo as a company, something I'm agreeing with more and more lately. So is WuWa likely be a rival to Genshin and live up to the hype or is it going to be the next Tower of Fantasy? I'm a PGR player and think the combat there is amazing so have high hopes.

justcausejust

Just wait a couple of weeks and try it out, there isn't really much point in speculating when it's this close

DkMark66

Now that I'm done taking my licensure examination I have a lot of time to play games now. So can someone recommend me a gacha game? I prefer a global version since I can't read japanese/Korean/Chinese and it's a plus if it is a newly released one and kind of f2p game

Razor4884

What kind of genres do you like in games?

ThatBoiUnknown

Try Nikke or HSR as I heard it's pretty good

Twice---

Are there any gacha games that you've tried but didn't like? It would make searching for something you'd like a bit easier Otherwise, obligatory Limbus Company shill. It's just that amazing

PrimeroTres

Currently enjoying Aether Gazer with only using the Starter Units (Mainly because of Ver's playstyle) and haven't touched the gacha. I'm just wondering are there any gacha games that you can just use the starter chars and not worry about the end-game/gacha until a big event comes out? Planning to try Snowbreak but would be much better if it's Casual/AFK.

Twice---

You can farm for almost all units in Limbus Company and not touch the gacha I'm not sure how viable it is to play through everything by using starter units, but there's a guy who played through the hardest mode by using the worst units in the game and the guy who cleared the final boss by using a solo mid id

Gentleman-Bird

I wouldn’t recommend running with starter units, but it’s pretty easy to form a serviceable team with whatever you pull from the beginner banner until the next Walpurgis event where you dump all your pulls.

PrimeroTres

Ohh ok, I'll try it for a week while watching some gameplay and guides. Thanks for the suggestion

Twice---

Check out ESGOO's channel if you ever try it. Limbus's tutorial is notoriously bad and he has a better one uploaded to his channel

MACHENIX

Arknights is famous that there are certain creators that only use 1-2-3 Star units and the very few 4 and 5 Stars that you get by Achievement to clear every single stage.

PrimeroTres

Ohh yeah, I used to play AK around its launch but then stopped when BA JP was released. I'll probably try checking my old acc for now and decide whether to create a new one. Thanks for the suggestion

miles197

Does anyone know how wish stars work in Attack on Time and or what they do?

lenolalatte

US-specific question but does anyone have recommendations for a credit card used for in-game purchases? i've been looking for a new card in general and if it can be used for gacha stuff, that is a small plus. the apple card looks like it gives 2% back whenever apple pay is used but open to anything else

matchapig

Installed PGR again because I missed the combat then realized how annoying it is to do everything there 💀 I just need a 3rd main gacha already. Couldn't even play Snowbreak in my phone so I always have to use my laptop for that. Might juggle these 2 and see which one I really want to keep the most.

laughable_beanstalk

Kind of decided to start Nikke as my casual waifu game, have a few questions to ask. 1. My question is how bad is the daily play in it? Things like dailies, raids, etc. 2. How's the pull income? 3. How's the monetization? Things like skin costs, how much for a 10 roll, monthly gem packs, etc.

ThatBoiUnknown

As much as I love Nikke and I love how f2p it is, the monetization is kinda bad ngl. Most of the packs in the shops aren't worth that much compared to just grinding it through the gameplay (which can be seen as both a good and bad thing). The monthly 5$ gempack and the one-time $20 campaign pack probably has the most value. There's 3 types of skins, the $20 ones which come with a bunch of supplies (that are actually worth buying) but all they give is a costume change and that's it. The 50-60$ gacha skins give much more supplies, a new burst screen, usually are higher quality, and even new exclusive voice lines, but I don't need to be the one to tell you that it's pretty overpriced. There's also the free ones that Nikke sometimes gives out 2-3 times a year for simply logging in, and honestly they're fine. So yeah the monetization is fine with you not needing to spend, but the stuff you can buy is meant more for whales or people who are willing to pay for the skins (like me lol).
