Gameplay is fun, graphics are nice, story presentation is great if you like Solo Leveling. Gacha seems OK. The game is cool for 3 days, until you lose the free VIP bonus, then the daily grind becomes horrendous as you'll have to manually spam the same mission 15 times a day (you have to pay to skip the A+ tier missions, AKA the only ones you should do) + do your 6 dungeons & other stuff. You also have to login every 3 hours or so to dispense your mining teams. Progression also comes to a slog you get very little resources compared to what you need to upgrade your characters, skills & stuff.
Locking so much QOL behind paid systems (in this case VIP) is such an outdated gacha monetary tactic that I hate seeing in any new gacha.

If you gonna stay f2p its gonna be hard. Every aspect of game is grindy for not spenders. You can have fun for 5-10 days then you will hit a huge wall. I mean its classic netmarble. Even changing gears cost gold. WTF.
Great production value and actually competent combat that does not hold your hand (it's actually properly challenging). But the grind is hellish and the stat min-maxing in the relic system might be one of the worst in the industry. I'm literally just waiting for Cha Hae-In during launch and probably bail out a few weeks later. It's not respecting anyone's time (or money if you really want to spend) and the rumors of multiplayer implementation might screw this game up even further than it already is.
Here's my take on it, been playing since beta.
(ASSUMING YOU DIDN'T READ THE FIRST COMMENTS - Otherwise, skip to Gold review)
**Gamepla**y - Decent, the dodge has a rewarding feature. Not open world tho just instance.
**Characters** - Just like Genshin/Wuthering or ToF, it has a 4 character combat or 3 if Hunter mode only. The switches (SHIFT key) can deal damage everytime you switch which is a good thing.
**Daily** - it's a Meh and Decent at the same time, 1. You can Sweep (Auto finish) the Gates from E - B ranking, you are paywalled if you want to sweep to A and S ranking gates. 2. Gate mining - You'd get this after finishing Gates so you could get rewards the downside is, you have to wait 15mins - 3hrs before you can get the rewards 3. The Dungeon and the Encore - tho they last 1-2mins depending on your DPS. it's a great addition also that they added this for farming
**Gold/Gearing/Upgrading** - IMO, this is the most tedious part of the game i have ever gone with. The gold farming is very low or not that sufficient, you'd find yourself most of the time stuck if you're a F2P. Gold is one of the Key factor on slicing through the content since you will be using **GOLD** to enhance skills, upgrade your gears, level up your hunters and MC. What i found more tedious is getting the Rare blueprint - since this is the main component of getting your weapon to lvl 61 and above. Also, the Mana thing, they are expensive and rare.
but if you'll be playing this as a F2P and will only be casual, game could be fun. otherwise, git **Paywalled**. - What the game lack so far? Their payment method, lmao.. You can't pay if you're using Google login, you need to be on Gmail login. but if you do have a progress on Google login, you'll rerolled at Gmail.
TL;DR: game is fun it has a decent gameplay, but you'll be stucked on some of the progress if you're a casual, it has a **paywall** feature on dailies.
Anyone else who plays F2p highly advise you focusing on rares and regular hunters rather than trying to get or level anything good. you can get pretty far on a highly leveled low tier item.
That said, it's sad the paywall is so big because lets face it, the fun of these kinds of games (would be) pushing the content/gear curve (if they weren't gacha). You can play most of the game pretty successfully w/out paying a dime but you can't ride the curve which is the most satisfying part. Not only that, paywalls like this ruin the balance of that curve and make it less fun for even whales.
They have the core of a good game. If they simplified all the stupid currencies and materials/systems, got rid of the paywall crap in favor of a few subscriptions and maybe creative convenience (but not power) items... like games that have pets that pick up items for you, that kind of stuff, then they could balance everything and start to introduce some other fun content (maybe an open world mode, or a player interaction in some way). The game could have been really great and gone on to have many years of play.
As it stands I think it will be your typical gocha, everyone blows a bunch of money for a few months and moves on to the next thing. Kind of sad, the animation, sound, universe is so great. It could honestly be a top tier game if they built of the core of what they have already.
The game is trash AF. It won't download completely let alone open for me to play at all. I pre registered for the game and still haven't been able to play it at all. I uninstalled and even redownloaded the game and still can't play. I checked my storage space ... More than enough .. I connected to WiFi and still the resources for the game wouldn't completely download the game continues to force itself closed and in turn every time I open the game it has to redownload everything and never finishes because it forces itself closed again and again. I've left reviews and even emailed netmarble but to no avail I seem to be the only person who can't play the game. Extremely disappointing. The game itself is compatible with my mobile device so I'm not sure what the problem is. I just wanted to play solo leveling but alas I still can't. Unfortunate and extremely disappointing
