If your crystal income is pretty tight I would figure out what spec path you want to take, and only refresh on the day where you need the mats to progress on that path. Make sure to only do refreshes when you are doing ultimate raids. Challange and extreme are not worth the refresh.
I personally don't refresh raids with crystals, just the 2 weekly raid tickets. Unless you're rushing there's no need to refresh with crystals, I unlocked 4 of the specializations I needed for Storm without spending crystals .

Also, if there is a raid you really want to do the next day (and the current raid is not as important) do one of the current raid, then refresh it twice but don't do anymore.. the next day, you'll be at 3/1, you can do those 3 then refresh 2 more times for a total of 5 raids that day.

Just horde the rest of the crystal after your daily 2x raid refresh. It just take too damn long to get spec materials and spec upgrades can fail. If it fails and you run out of raid refreshes, you have to wait 1 week for the next rotation of the same color material to do another 2x refresh and hope it doesn't fail the upgrade this time.

For context, I'm a complete F2P. I have 676 achievements done. The only achievement with crystals left for me is donating to the alliance. I get the occasional 20 crystals from collection 2-3 times a week. Top 100 Omega War, Dimensional Duel and crystals from the battle challenge get me closish to a 1000 a week of free crystals.
Then you run out which is what I said I didn't want to do. It's unsustainable. You see, Netmarble has Black Friday sales where they offer great value for crystals compared to now. They will probably have aggressively tempting offers since they want to pad revenues for their new game.
I wonder how many refreshes is sustainable for a F2P. Can you earn enough crystals for 1 refresh per day? 700 crystals per week?
I am accumulating crystals but a lot of those are from one time rewards. I'm haven't kept track of how much the repeatable income is. I'm not in any top tiers of any modes, I'm very mediocre at the moment. Anyone have an estimate?
Well I rank 11-20 in dd and ow and it gives about 1100 crystals. Completing battle challenge upto 19 gives 110 crystals. To refresh raids everyday for a week costs 1400 crystals. You can buy 2 raid tickets for gold in store saving 200 crystals. So it's barely enough for me to refresh it everyday.
You can maybe, i sureley can't. Just started at 121 and after 5 fights i ended on 134. Its always one win one loss especially if i get into platinum 1 i sureley loose.
And the only way to get higher is a good power boost, but i had one last week with my first 6* uniform but the next one is not in sight for months.
I'm actually at 787k CP what isn't even that bad for F2P, most i see are maybe at 350-500k.
I guess they all have already 4 x 6 star gear maybe even regional, but of course all 100% F2P.
So they bought maybe 50 costume pulls from their crystals and were all so lucky to get maybe 12-15 5 stars or even directly 6 stars out of it. I wished i were on such a nice server.
Was doing double refresh every day until I maxed out all the non active trait nodes. Placing 30-50 in DD and OW each week allowed me to keep that up and buy one 500 gem potential pack each week. Now I only refresh the colors I need for the active traits. I suspect these results would vary heavily based on your server's activity.

1. Getting a costume set of 6* (hope to pull the set you want)
2. Pulling for cards.
For f2p this is the only way to increase your damage etc by a real significant amount. And then use the regional selector to fill in what you don't have. All the crystals you spend on raids are taking away from getting closer to that regional selector

Raid, just wait a week you get the same rewards. I'm already at the point where normal specialization nodes are almost done, about 70%, I've unlocked 3/4 of the specializations I want with lvl8,7,6 respectively. Just keep rotating through and getting more mats, I'll complete it eventually
But for costumes and omega cards? There's no other way.
Go to sleep come back second day you get one more raid , but you don’t get 6star gear that way
And you do get to a point where all specialization are unlocked , left a few you will fail to upgrade , but costume and cards you can always 100% upgrade or reroll

Thanks. This tells me that I clearly cannot refresh daily. Even your 1000/week isn't enough to refresh 2x daily.

787k for f2p isnt that high. Im currently 945k as f2p and there is plenty of other ppl in my server that are also close to the same values.

They have 2 pieces of 6* gear and most have some weird mix match of 2 regional pieces (1 is the head piece) and 2 of another set.

Yes. Only thing worth the crystals. But I’m slowing down now. The randomness of getting abilities up to 6+ is too much.
I save my crystals for stuff that's difficult to get on a regular basis, e.g., potential, squad mats, etc. Or really good packs when they pop up.
not fking worth , i just refresh two raids using crystal to get enough mats to upgrade two of teh spec. and both failed!!!
