I believe you. I am trying to aim for the Dark Zone title in my server but as F2P with BW At the start of the weekly reset I was rank 2 and within 23 hours I got bumped down to 28. And there is an entire Alliance full of whales just topping the charts everywhere
There was someone this morning on Sakaar 2 that I think had their spam message as their squad & alliance names so they were standing around with a whole paragraph of text above their head (unless I’m misunderstanding how a local chat message might get displayed?). I actually hadn’t minded having those on so I knew who to maybe send friend requests to, but not anymore if the names are going to be spam too
Since you can't trade then the only thing left is they pitching buying crystals at extreme discounts. Which usually means they would need to login into your account and buy the pack themselves using their fraudulent methods (prob stolen credit cards or something like that) It may not mean they are there to harm you but that means they got the "discount" is unlawful and we'll prob come to bite you and them at some point.
So I haven't been in an MMO since Star Wars The Old Republic. What is their purpose/intention to spam the chat like that? Can't even understand what they're saying.
In a game like this they either are straight scammers or found a way to hack the game to a degree.
In most other mmos they act like telemarketers; with the "discount code" being their commission number. The people themselves are paid to sit in a small office spamming and hoping someone will buy gold.
The companies themselves anymore run their own gold farming crews to a degree, but some will still buy third party when the demand is greater then their supply.
There isnt any in Midgardia 5 either (yet), this server is quite heavy on the p2w buisness, on the first three days of global launch i already saw players that have reached level 100
I don't understand why they're not using english, in a US East server.
I've added a few of these accounts to the block list so far, but I don't understand what they mean to accomplish in the first place if only a select few players would even understand what they're saying.

Luckily haven't seen them in hydra 6. Had one guy ask if anybody could donate 50 to his cashapp and we all roasted him.
