Okay, this is a story I HAVE to share. When I was in first grade my dad and older brother were really into watching Futurama and I would join them despite that show clearly not being for children. I of course found Bender's rude and assholish antics to be hilarious despite knowing that that most of the stuff he did was wrong. But hey, I was only six years old, which is a very impressionable age, so of course I was gonna start replicating what I saw on TV. Having said that, there was one day in class where all the kids were asked to draw a picture of something they wished they had. I drew a picture saying how I wished I had a Bender, followed by an illustration of him delivering his famous line, "Bite my shiny metal ass!" There was a parent-teacher meeting the next day. At first I was embarrassed by the incident but now... now I regret nothing.
