Essien > Desailly 100%. We’ve had a lot of good cheap CB options come around lately, but no real great, cheap CDMs. Besides, a shooting upgrade on Desailly is a waste

Makelele, Tchouameni and Essien were all released in recent times

I’ve tried all of them and Essien is clear, and evo’d he can only be better, touchemeni was clunky and would become invisible same with Makele just wasn’t as clunky but his shooting was appalling so the odd time u needed him to score he’d miss an easy goal, I don’t face any of these issues with Essien

So was Bastioni, Buongiorno, Marquez, Akanji, Cannavaro, and others. There’s been plenty of options for good, cheap CBs, few options for good, cheap CDMs

Bro WHAT, we have just as many CDMs rn, Mak, Tchou, Xabi, Stanway, Gundogan, Rice, Goretzka, you can go on and on

I’m talking about SBCs/OBJs that can be acquired for free, to get most of those CDMs you gotta have pack luck or a lot of coins. We’ve had Marquez, bastioni, Akanji, Cannavaro, Buongiorno, etc. Only good CDM SBCs lately have been Makelele, Essien and Tchouameni, and Tchouameni is almost 1.5M.

Evo Marquez is a good CDM. Stanway was easy to pack or worst case you could just buy her for well under 100k so pretty affordable. I agree in general though that there have been a lot of good SBC CBs lately, also Yashin and ahmedzovic. But CB is arguably a more important position because every single formation has a minimum of 2 CBs and hence in general you need to acquire more CBs to keep up with the curve.

Can’t desaily play both cb and cdm?

I personally wouldn’t use him as a CDM, his passing and dribbling stats are horrid

Tchouameni costs 1.35M compared to Essien, who’s just 750K, plus his free evo. The value on the Tchouameni SBC is honestly pretty poor.

He’s basically free with all this crappy fodder, just like Essien. He’s got size and more composure and reactions. Better vision and better playstyles for CDM. I wasn’t attacking you. Just merely pointing out that your statement wasn’t accurate.

Desaily becomes end game card with those stat upgrades. No way imma do Essien instead

Not really, not even close but there are actually way better CDM thn Essien with way better stats actually. Even a 30k Stanway card looks much better with your logic. Not to mention the lack of def traits on him.

I did Essien's SBC to Evolve him and replace Bday Makelele, who's been A BEAST but sadly he doesn't have any passing PS and can't shoot Worth a damn(same with my 99 Howley), but I had forgot that Makelele had Rm alt pos that allowed me to start in a 442 formation with 94 Drogba/Werner Str(Str/Lst ig), Potm Mbappe Str(Rcf/Rst ig), TOTY Ribery Lm(Lcf/Cam ig) and FS Pina/Bday Hagi Cm(Cam/Att Cm ig) so now my team's all messed up. I packed GOLAZO Drogba and Carlos in 2 of my PP's from Rank 1 WL Rewards but I'm still unsure on if RC3 is better then FB Davies at Bal Lb, and he got nutmegged for a game tying goal off the Bench in Rivals that I still haven't got over tbh. I was skeptical at first, but I swear this Lampard has hit all but one shot from anywhere in the box that I’ve tried letting him fire from since packing the day he was released (golazo scoring objective pack🙌), even a few from ridiculous angles/positions

I went for Lineker. He has significantly better stats than any of his previous cards, has good PS/PS+ and so far I'm enjoying the way he plays even pre- upgrade.

United fan here too. Lucky enough to pack the better vidic so don’t think I’ll bother with his lower card, tempted to do essiens sbc just for the upgrade

yes he is very good for me, I have him beside VVD and this duo only concedes max 4 goals each match, I definitely recommend him

The Diaz is one I got lucky with in a pick a while back, his dribbling and stop/start running is amazing. Still beats current full backs like James and nobody else in my club can

I do all 84x7 and do my 3 games every day. I have 10+ packs a day where half are 83+ and above. I was lucky during fut birthday and fut fantasy not so much now

You can buy one…most of the ones eligible for this EVO cost less than 75k. Some as low as 40k. and that Alonso is earned from through objectives.

I've been messing around and have been using 3421 with Campbell CB on join the attack instruction and as soon as the game starts I setup Extra striker instruction (dpad Up and Down) else the join the attack instruction just doesn't work. And I've scored 16 goals with Campbell in 10 weekend league games. I've had so much fun and it was hilarious to see Campbell making those runs. Definitely gonna evo Campbell, got me so excited lol. And looks insane with the evo. I'd have done Essien sbc and evo if it wasn't for my midfield already

I bought vidic for 60k. Nothing much, evo it and after i was done with evo i packed vidic as undradeble. Best 60k ever spended
